Wonderful place for Kerala based cuisines and seafood. Mind you, they do serve other cuisines including North Indian and Chinese too but this is based on what we tried. For starters, their Ali Baba special chicken was excellent with a crunchy ,well flavoured exterior and juicy meat within. The crispy fried squid was delightful too. We also tried their mutton raan which was decent and can be had by 3 people. The kanthari prawns was based in coconut gravy with chillies and was a nice unique flavour. We had the main course with a mix of kulchas, wheat parotas and naans. There are ample seating options with a wonderful layout and artwork on the walls. Parking is limited in front of the restaurant but there are options on the side for a few vehicles as well so that makes up for it. Overall, would definitely recommend.

This place is very popular and it was suggested to me by a friend of mine. Went with high hopes. We ordered the prawns roast...it was king prawns...tasted really good and fresh, the flavour was on point. The quality of prawns used was also very good. The next dish was butter chicken and chapati. It was really disappointing, the butter chicken was not good at all. The flavours were off and tasted too sweet for my taste. For the price they are charging you I would expect a much better meal. The bad thing we faced was that when we sat down for food, 5-6 staff members were continuously staring at us and it was really uncomfortable.

The restaurant was pretty much packed when I went for lunch. The food was delicious. I loved the chicken manchow soup😍 it was yummy. Butter chicken and nan was good too. Beef biryani didn’t meet my expectation, it was just okay. Waiting time was quite long. The ambiance was good. Parking is quite difficult.

Located at Panampilly Nagar. This hotel provides a lot of North Kerala dishes. We had Biriyani which was almost like authentic North Kerala Biriyani along with soup. The price is on the higher side. They have a lot of space inside for the dining. Cars has to be parked on the road side

Wonderful place for Re-Unions , me & my friends checked in here , and the food was good . It was affordable , they were more than 20 people and the total cost was under 3500 rupees . They have a second floor in case of mass gatherings , which was where we were seated . Though with such large orders our food arrived very fast . Literally on side of Panampilly Nagar Road . The food is served hot & on the spot

The ambience and service was good! Mutton brain fry tasted kind of raw! Mutton raan was mind boggling! Kanthari chicken curry beef roast was all average! Fish pollichathu was below average! I loved all the rest! Their service was top notch!

Okay food. Chixken lolipop was more of chinese style than traditional ones. Chinese items were pathetic. very cramped seating, not a good relaxing environment. Wait staffs were very friendly and pleasant.

Had tea and snacks from there this time, and it was really good. The tea was excellent, and the spot was perfect. It’s truly a great place, with fantastic teas. I really enjoyed it, including the snacks.

Had some delicious meals for lunch today from here. We ordered Fish Pollichathu with the heavy meals. Everything on my table was delectable. 😋 It was quite busy when reached. The staff were friendly. Would definitely 💯go back to try their other dishes.

The hotel is not very stylish but has a good ambience. Easily accessible from the main road. Varieties of food choices are available the ones which I tried are Hot and sour soup, Sweet corn soup, Patiala chicken gravy, Hawai chicken salad, Tawa prawns. The food mentioned above are good. Murigi diwani haldi is a chicken option, which I don't really recommend. Kulchha roti and tandoori roti are also good.

The seafood platter was the ever. The masala was overpowering everything, and everything tasted the same. The platter didn’t include a bread like naan or appam even tho it costed 1600 rupees. When informed the manager he simply shrugged off and said that’s how the fish is being prepared and that we could have informed him while eating it (will he have replaced it? 🙄) Bill came to 1850 and nothing but regret, disappointment and sadness; resides in our minds from this meal to till this day.

It is a good restaurant for non veg food lovers. Good service and nice ambiance give you a comfortable time for your appetite. They have a common parking area, which is quite sufficient for some customers. Easy to access from panampilly Nagar.

Their delicacies are amazing. Taste and quality is unmatched and quite good in quantity. They got some signature dishes. The one which I liked the most is kanthari prawns which is a must try (Try only if you are fond of Kerala foods prepared in coconut milk).

Ali Baba is an excellent chain of restaurant and my latest visit here did not disappoint at all. The recommendations were spot on and we ended up having a great dining experience. Thank to the staff for a great dining experience.

We ordered Chicken chaap and I must say it was really amazing. It was proper authentic South Indian starter. For main course we ordered Chicken patiala which was also very nice.Their Mango Shake was also good. Service by Jitin was really amazing. Had chicken soup using salt bottle full of rust i put it on soup It was only when I ate it that I realized I had eaten full rust after that staff behavior is very pathetic.

Very bad experience.. The food was just avg.. Only dragon chicken was good.. Fish biriyani was horrible and I doubt if the fish was fresh..the behavior of the staff was very horrible n pathetic.. They didn't even bother to provide the menu after waiting for such a long time even when it was not during the busy hours... Food was served much later...

The place is nice and good for family outings. The ambiance may not be out of the world but good food will make up for a good day on the road. We ordered a seafood platter, 3 ghee rice and thenga pathil. The pathil was fried in ghee making it so very delicious. The ghee rice was also tasty.The platter was the highlight of the day. Even though all the seafood items were marinated with the same spice and roasted in ghee the subtlety of the spices allowed for us to get the original taste of the meat itself. The small prawns tasted great with the pathil. And the ghee rice went well with the other items like neymeen, koonthal, chemballi and bigger prawns. The quantity was perfect for four adults. There was a strong coffee at the end too.

Alibaba placed at panapilly nagar kochi . One of the main place of foods and street food the main food items and food places have here. Kochi's one of the porsh area and night open till 11 pm all shop now its 10 / 9 becoz of covid pandamic And food was awsome and super taste we went my friend and his wife and my siblings. It's a decent restaurant with good food and good customer service. Very pleasant attitude from the staff. We tried their shawarma, and it was really tasty. Their grilled fish & grilled chicken is good too. It also has a fine dining area and ambience.

A great place to try seafood. I had the Nirvana dish, and it was absolutely delicious. The fish was perfectly cooked, and the sauce was flavorful and complex. The service was also excellent, and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious seafood meal.

I've tried the fish Nirvana and kozhi nirachathu. Had a waiting time of 40 min. The service and atmosphere was good. But the food was not that great. For me I didn't like the fish Nirvana had a oily flavour (coconut oil flavour) and we couldn't finish the entire fish because of that. The kozhi nirachathu was good and the poratta was good. Fish Nirvana 2/5 Kozhi nirachathu 3.5/5

I don't know, I feel like giving a 2 star rating. But I shall give one more star for the ambience. The quality or quantity, neither both could not justify the price tag. We entered the restaurant during its peak hours and was informed we will have to wait for around 20 minutes. It took them around 35 minutes to serve us the food. That was kind of understandable. But, the food felt like it lacked the flavour and tasted blank. And the quantity of food was also less. This could not justify the wait or the price.

I had a sea food lunch meals from Alibaba. Not that great with there price range. Food is fresh and tasty. but not outstanding. Easy to locate the restaurant from road side. Price is little high and can add some more dishes. ** I haven't tried other menus, This review only about seafood lunch meals. Please find the attaching images. There wall paintings and and interior is really cool and well maintained. Every thing is neat and fine. And also wooden furnishing are really awesome and upto mark. Prawn fry was mouthwatering and spicy. Price is comparatively very high comparing to the other hotel for the dish I had. Everything else is fine and perfect. Bathroom, wash room and interior is hygienic and fresh. Well maintained and cleansed Dining hall is air conditioned. Don't have ample parking area, but it's okay can manage. A spacious eatout with delicious food especially arabic cuisine. I tried chicken biriyani which was good. They serve a big portion of rice and meat which is more than enough for those with normal appetite. If you are person with low appetite, go for sharing a biriyani with your friend. I saw many wasting food especially biriyani because they couldn't finish one plate. Their meal is also a must try item.

Had beef biriyani but the beef was too hard. The rice was not bad though. Heard their mutton biriyanis are better but couldn’t get a chance to taste it as it was over. Watermelon juice costs 80 and it just feels like drinking normal water with a mild watermelon flavour. Overall disappointed.

This is an awesome place to catch a break for your tummy in Kochi , situated in Panampilly Nagar area , the dishes are reasonably priced and coming to the taste , the taste was simply one of the best i have ever had till date . Had ordered Wheat Parotta , Chilly Chicken , Pepper Barbecue . Though these are simple items and can be seen everywhere , my experience from this restaurant was simply awesome .

Foods are tasty and I tried few dishes such as kozhi nirachathu and tenga pathiri. Actually pathiri was quite hard but rest of the dishes are tasty 👅. And also some renovations works are going there while I’m visiting . Which makes us some discomfort Always prefer ALIBABA

The food is okay-ish. Please don't commit the mistake of ordering an Arabic Kunafa from their menu. It costs around 330 rupees or something for a tiny portion. You can get better ones around Kochi for an even lower price. The Tender Coconut Pudding is a much better option.

I have been in india 9 months and i have not had this type of reaction to the food … im guessing the water??… just wanted to update for everyone else’s safety Original review: The hot water tasted like chemicals. The server did not understand English or he had a huge hearing problem; i am not even sure. I ordered coffee with my food. It never came. I was okay with it until he asked me again if i wanted something to drink. My friend also ordered a drink to come with food. We just looked at him like “dude what is wrong with you?” The coffee was the normal chicory water that you get in india, but even after i added a packet of Bru it still had a strong taste of molasses. The sweet beef was very nice but it would have been great with that side of cabbage that the other beef came with. You can see that the plate looks confused and missing something. The double fried beef was very good and crunchy. The rating is for water and coffee. The biryani was also not very tasty. Had a strange taste. Might be from the strange water. I dont understand why our orders were that complicated because they really were not. Sad to not come back because the place has a nice ambiance

Went there during lunch time and it was packed! Great servicing and ambience. Ordered Schezwan Chicken Noodles and it was great. Quantity served was for almost 2 people and as the only person eating it, it was too much (not complaining). Quality was amazing! Prawns Biriyani 2.5/5 not too good. Chicken 65 was salty. Overall food was at 3.5 Service at 5/5 Atmosphere at 5/5 Would I go again? Absolutely.
