We had a unique experience with Renai Cochin. On October 20, I traveled to Cochin for a condolence visit. My friend helped me book a room by making an advance payment of Rupees one thousand. Initially, our plan was to arrive in Cochin around 1:00 AM, rest briefly, and then proceed to my relatives' place in the morning. To our disappointment, upon reaching Salem (traveling from Bangalore), it was already 9:00 PM. Considering the traffic, we estimated reaching our destination by 3 or 4 AM. With just a planned 2-hour stay (as we intended to return to Bangalore after the funeral service), keeping the room booked seemed impractical. Consequently, I canceled the reservation around 9:15 PM on the same day, within 6 to 7 hours. The person assured me that the booking amount would be transferred the next morning once Mr. John arrived. I called John the same day, and he responded with a message saying, "I am driving, will call back." However, over a month has passed, and despite numerous attempts to follow up, there has been no response. My friend contacted the manager at Renai Cochin, and most of the time, there was no response to his messages. After October 21, I spoke with several individuals who assured me that the money would be refunded. Excuses about Dusshera Holidays, the account team being on leave, and the need to open the account were provided, but no action was taken. Frustrated, I asked my friend to follow-up. The issue boils down to Rupees one thousand: a commitment is a commitment. If a promise is made to return the money, it should be fulfilled, plain and simple.

We stayed here as a group. Helpful and friendly staff. Will definitely recommend. Food is good as well. Very good experience overall. Also let us slightly be flexible with check-ins and checkouts..

Went for a wedding function here , there is enough space for a medium crowd. Open lawn is also available near the hall for reception. It is nice place for bringing kids , because lot of space is available for activities and fun, kids will enjoy the space. Food was also nice , it was a three course meals. Overall good ambience.

It was well located, good rooms, well behaved staff, well lit rooms and good food service - also they have a nice pool n a great banquet

Rooms are very beautiful, clean and disciplined. A great parking area. Metro is walking distance, Marine is nearby 5 km. Night view was awesome. Good service. A family enjoying hotel. Thanks Renai teams

Good but not too good 😊. Situated in the heart of the city at this region and well connected with road and metro train. You can just step out to the parking area ( large, needs special mention), bus stop, autorickshaw or even nearest Palarivattom metro station ( which is a few steps away from the reception). Good ambience, be it the lobby, lifts, corridors or rooms. Staff and services good. Breakfast is tasty but just okay; nothing special for foodies. A latent period in buffet breakfast is quite obvious, don't know if this happens every day.

We went for dinner at renai. Black Pearl was full so thought of waiting at Rasaleela. Ordered a few dishes. Took more than half an hour for the food to come.Had to make a scene to actually get the food. Totally irresponsible staff. As we would have to wait for an hour to get table at black Pearl asked if we could get the black pearl food served at rasaleela along with rasaleela food. The manager first agreed and said would give the menu. Then when following up for the menu after 15mins he acted as if he didn’t even know about it. Finally when the table was about to get ready he said we can order the food not to loose time. He didn’t even care to give the menu and said they refer fried rice. Y would we even go to a hotel like this if we have to go for fried rice like in a road side shack.Finally got table at black table earl and got the food which was even more pathetic than food at rasaleela. The food tasted really horrible. Tasted like old frozen chicken pork. Only one fish dish was ok. Totally non courteous staff also. Worst dine out experience in Cochin

Visited the Hotel renai for a family function. We had a room booked too. The rooms was a bit congested but neat and tidy. It had all the required amenities including a mini bar. The food at the banquet hall was one of a kind experience. All the dishes were super tasty and they had enough to provide for all the guests. The service was also top notch and never had any complaints during the whole time. Love to be back again sometime.

Food not worth for money. Buffet model followed. Fixed price. But taste is comprised. And the fixed price seems high, yes it's a star hotel. But I don't feel the taste of food is worth for the money. Not satisfied with the food .

Receptionist and other employees were always smiling and courteous. Room service was excellent. Rooms were also in pristine shape. Food at restaurant is quite nice and lot of parking space. Above all, easy location. I love this hotel and will recommend to my friends. BEST WISHES TEAM RENAI.

The bar is good? Liquor is served in quantities of 30 ml. The range starts from Rs 210...for liquor as much as an ant bite . Beer range starts from Rs 360.. I won't blame the bar managemet for such high rates. What I felt is for such high rates there should be atleast live music. The AC bar is small and compliments are basic comparing the reputation

It is one of the best hotels in Kochi, Kerala. The natural surroundings make this hotel more beautiful. It is a multistoty building with lots of airy rooms, a huge banquet, and a dining hall with a sky view swimming pool outside. Beautiful ambient. Loaded with all amenities. It can easily attract anyone towards it

I stayed there for 3 day's, Booked Standard room, but they provided superior Twin bed, Bed was too small for me to fit in that, The rates they are charging is high compared to other metros like Chennai & Hyderabad where i used to get King size Bed for same amount of lesser than the amount. When i asked for a King size bed, they asked me to pay extra. If metros like Chennai, Hyderabad & Bangalore can provide King size bed for me, what's the big thing for Renai to provide only twin bed for 3.5k

Hey all i booked the hotel for an event for a huge amount but while I reach the place they are not allowing to go inside because I reach earlier for 2hrs+ the watch man treat very in-discipline manner and he shouted me to stay outside till the time arrived. Even the hall has been booked from my own company they are not willing to hear the words of me. Even I'm ready to book a room for me they are not willing to hear any words from me . Worst ever experience in my life.

After many years was back at the property. It's now become jaded and old and needs an urgent facelift.. the location is the best thing about the place .. the rooms are not that big and needs better appointment and uplift.. the bathrooms are also in dire need for an upgradation.. the service still is good and warm... The breakfast buffet was a bit disappointing from what was served the last time I was served some years back when it was a spanking new place....

Black Pearl restaurant atmosphere, service, and food items are awesome!! It is an upscale experience and I am very happy. Be aware: Foreign liquor is very, very expensive. I tried Patron Taquilla. Shot was Rs. 2,200 (60 ml). Menu card shows price for 30 ml. The full bottle outside cost Rs. 7000. So be careful on alchoholic drink orders.

Dear Renai Cochin Team, please remember that you are not providing a 5-star facility to charge 4k+tax for a twin bed room, I am a regular customer of you, even though for a king size bed upgrade ( usually all hotels do ) you asked me to pay 1000+ tax, Last time when I stayed the same feedback I posted in Google and as an answer to my poy, got a reply that next time will take care but when I came there second time your receptionist denied and asked me to pay 1000+tax which I didn't do. This time I booked room in Gokulam Park where I got spacious room ( Renai rooms are congested) with a King size bed for much reasonable rate. I won't suggest Renai Cochin to Anyone Better go for Gokulam Park, Kaloor

We visited their Chinese restaurant. Our order was Thai rice. Schezwan beef. It was such a horrible dish we had to call the chef and ask him does he know what is made. He was an Indian cook from North and said here local prefer such.

4 Star hotel located centrally . Well appointed rooms with good views. Right from reception and lobby one gets a feeling of warmth and good feeling. Very well maintained with good service and friendly staff. The food is very good with variety on offer both vegetarian and non vegetarian options, salads and desserts. The breakfast spread is sumptuous. The hotel has 4 restaurants serving different cusines including 24 hour coffee shop. The bar is well stocked with variety of spirits on offer. The banqueting facilities are very good. Parking is ample and is a major attraction.

Attended Contractors Meet Conducted by Southern DG Sets, the OEM of Mahindra & Mahindra DG Set. It was very informative, good food, etc.

A great place to stay in Kochi with in city limits. Very good choice of vegetarian and non- vegetarian food. There is also a sea food restaurant. Ample parking space too. Breakfast is very good. Friendly behaviour of staff is worth mentioning. Few steps to metro station makes it even more convenient

Had a comfortable stay. Recommended. The sweet dishes in the dinner buffet were good. Pasta was fantastic. Main course paneer dish was not at all good on account of hard paneer.

They have nice two restaurants . One is for specialised in Chinese foods. The buffets are pocket friendly and serves wide variety of foods giving equal importance to veg and non veg . They have multiple options (out door & indoor halls) for family gathering and functions

If there is something more than 5 stars, can give that too. One of the best restaurants in Kochi. Super Ambience too.

I wanted to book a banquet hall. When I dial the number I get connected to an OYO number. The person who seems to be from another state probably from northern india tells the banquet halls are not opened yet in Kerala but when I called the 'real Phone number' they do provide banquet halls. Please Check for the number that is been listed under the Google searches.

Excellent Hospitality, Quality and value for money. Their buffet is one of the best in the city. Buffet spread and taste, simply excellent. Yesterday evening we booked a table to celebrate my son in law's birthday. We were 5 adults and a little child. When we arrived the table was ready, and they surprised us with a complimentary birthday cake and played the Happy Birthday song. Thank you so much dear Mr. Jacob Ghosh and team for the wonderful evening.

My experience was with the Buffett, prior to Covid. I reached the restaurant at 2:30 PBuffett food was cold, I asked the staff ,why is the food cold,, their reply was "It's almost closing time".....but this attitude did not reflect in their invoice. If food quality was compromised deliberately, then money charged should also be reduced. Not a nice attitude.

My all time favorite buffet place. We all are really enjoyed.. Pork barbecue was amazing....

Wifi connection was an issue to deal with. Since located in the heart of the city, the traffic block in front of the hotel premises is a worrisome factor if you are commuting by your own four wheeler.

This place has a descent buffet which is served for lunch and dinner. I wont say it is extraordinary, but the spread is good enough and the food is tasty. They serve beer and hard liquor if you want in the restaurant.

our company have a celebration party of target achivement was held on here at the restaurant. on that day they have many variety of foods ...like soup, kappa and fish,beef,pork,sea food , pickles, fried rice, normal rice, ,and the all curries of veg meals,starters and finally desserts .....i tested every foods, i really enjoyed it. It is very delicious 😋😋🤤🤤. about the restaurant i love the ambiance it was really awesome... i like it

Nice play to choose to stay. Breakfast taste is okiesh but rooms are good in size and clean and staff and service is good. Through breakfast was okiesh , the room dining we ordered was super tasty. They have ample space for car parking and location is on main road, hence being an USP.

it is located at prime area, looking good ambience and interior design. we will get drinks at higher prices but there is no charge for food. Nonveg dishes are not so cooked well and much tasty. Overall experience is good.

We had gone for Buffet Lunch. The salads, starters, soup, main course and desserts were of varied types. Enjoyed the ambiance, food and the courteous service. Prices are very reasonable. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Great experience hosting a birthday party of my son. Food was awesome and the service was excellent. Great support from the reservation team Ruby & Jose. The children loved the party and it was well set.
