Really bad experience 😕 The restaurant is not maintained and service is poor 😢 We ordered 3 fresh lime juice and it took 25 min to reach . The restaurant wasn't crowded at all while we dropped by ( 15.4.23).My 4 year old child started crying for water and yet no service from the staff. We got our order after 25 minutes by then my child was exhausted. This place is dark and definitely not for family . IPL match was going on and people were boozing and clearly the staff was interested only in opening bottles and not serving juice or anything non- alcoholic.

I am a Malaysian. I must say poor experiences at this hotel. My recent stay on 7th - 8th July 2023 was terrible. I have booked for 4 rooms in total for my family in this hotel. -1st room: Tap water leaking in the toilet, flooded the whole bathroom. My uncle requested to change room. The new room 107 provided is air conditioner and television not working( my uncle and aunty had to sleep without air conditioner airway. -2nd - My mother and my aunt room also not clean the floor is sticky and television not working. Had to request another room. 3rd- My room the floors is so sticky and the bathroom was not clean( sticky, bathtub not clean as well as the sink), my bedsheets is dirty with curry stained. My room also have lots of flies. Upon request to change room( there is no availability) . I had to clean the room myself together with room service boy. I have clean my bathroom, mop the room floor all by myself. I ask the room service boy just help me to change my bedsheets. Overall poor experience. Please request to change room if you found the room is not clean.

Good location, plenty of parking, plenty of seating, good service. A nice place to spend quality time with friends or family, without being rushed. Alcohol is served at the table. Finger food (touchings) options are limited. Vegetarians would find very limited choice. Open, tent-roof restaurant (kettuvallam) offers nice ambiance.

This is a hotel and restaurant situated opposite to Oberon Mall Kochi. Food is quite good and they have an open garden restaurant along with the normal one. This hotel has a big conventional center hall suitable for various functions. It also has a big parking facility which can occupy a good number of cars...

Great convention centre situated inside this Hotel Premises. The Ambience and decorations were beautiful. The place looks clean and tidy. Can accommodate a 500 people for a function or convention. The property and seating looks fine and perfect. The hotel also have an open lawn with dining and bar facility just opposite to the convention centre too. Highly recommended for meetings and Functions.

The Highway Garden has had a long-standing reputation as a great place to host events. We have had several of our weddings, business events etc hosted there. And yet, we think there has been a shocking decline in the way they cater and serve. The food was below average and I'm not sure why our alumni decided to host the event here. One of the shocking responses at the buffets this time was the banquet manager telling me that they no longer provide tissues to wipe hands in the washing area because guests are just too unkempt and throw it all over the floor. Of course, that they haven't provided a single waste bin for their guests to dispose off their used tissues was totally another matter and when I pointed out that to him, he gave me the kind of answer only the totally uninterested would give - 'in our hotel, we do things the way we see fit.' Was he drunk? I don't know. But the mindset was too shocking for me as a guest to continue any useful conversation with him. True that, it is his or their hotel. Maybe they should convert it to a chicken coop so no guests need to come back expecting gracious and welcome and meaningful service besides some great food too.

Rooms interior need to be renovated and repaired , especially bathrooms. Room service also need to improve.. room cleaning also need to be done properly.. Seems like owner is not so keen about his business..hope they will renovate and maintain their hotel.

Really bad experience at the restaurant there (kettuvellam) went there for lunch and OMG the service the food the staff nothing was up to mark. Oh yeah, the ambience were nice.. The staffs were like we went there for free food ...we ordered normal meal avoli fry duck pepper and beef fry...The fish fry was yuck and when I asked the staff how many days old the fish is, he said it's 2 days old and i bet it's minimum a week old and charged 500/_ for the same ...when asked for the manager they said he is not available and any concern personal... They finds out the order we placed were not available after 15 min of ordering ... Very very bad experience... not recommended at all...no value for customer!!! This restaurant actually spoils the reputation of the hotel convention centre as well!!

My experience was very poor. Me & family has booked 3 rooms for marriage purpose on 24th August 2022. The room was ok but the Bathrooms were so dirty and full of foul smell. It was so disgusting to stay at there. The surrounding area of the hotel, especially near the convention center was filled with foul urine smell. I felt vomiting tendency while passing through the front area. The staffs were not available at certain times too. Anyway we had bad experience here.

We stayed here as there was a function in the convention hall. Hall was exceptionally good; but the stay was deplorable. The rooms do not feel or look clean. They are outdated. Smells weird. Bathrooms have tubs instead of stand in showers. Food is not good. Service is not there at all. And to top it off, someone randomly entered the room very early in the morning.

We went for sea food carnival and ordered meals with varal polichathu and beef. But it was not at all delicious. Waste of money and time. Beef was so hard that we find it difficult to chew. Worst experience. Even the restaursnt staff are too inexperienced, you can judge the way they serve the food. Will never set foot here to have food. Only good thing is the location.

We had a function in their hall which is having a good ambience and better service.the food served was above average.The location is also near to the highway and it's suitable for conducting functions . The only drawback is that they won't allow the food from outside for any function in the hall.

A nice place to hang out with friends and enjoy a drink. One recommendation for the business would be to serve chilled beer and not medium cold beer, considering the price they charge for the beers. Staff was friendly and accommodating and food was reasonably good.

I lost my powerbank there.. Am the last person come out from their.. So there is no chance for anyone else to get it. Definitely the staff got that.. But they didn't return that. When i ask they said that they don't know

We went there for an engagement. It was a place with good ambience with more parking space. If you are looking for a hall in kochi go give it a try.

Rooms are ok, needs renovation, but clean, however bathrooms are unbearable- the water in the bathroom has an unbearable stench like gutter water. Some major issue with the water in that hotel, when brought up with the manager, it was looked upon very casually. Also, no hot water available for bath.

When you crave for a yummy fish curry and fish pollichathu go to Highway gardens. Have chilled beer with delicious lunch.

Had lunch with beer here today. With so many good resto bars in Kochi , I Must say their food really needs to improve especially Sea food considering the price they charge. Service is excellent. It's just the food part that needs improvement .

As the name implies it's on the highway but needs to be accessed through service road. The rooms are fairly decent but could do better with maintainance of the toilet. With a broken tub and nonfunctional faucet there appears a lot to be desired. If you are heavily loaded with luggage beware you go to the gym first because there are no elevators. If you think water is complimentary in rooms you are mistaken..costs much more than the MRP. Early check in is expensive...half the room rent Buffet breakfast is disastrous. There appears to be a open restaurant that we did not try our luck with! Hence no comments. Other than the location there is nothing much on the positive side. Could best be described a motel with limited facilities. Ideal for those on the move and would like to sleep over the night. There is a bar that we did not venture into..

Went for a wedding reception. The location is on the service road of the highway from vytilla to edappally. As the parking was full I had to park in another ground 100 mtrs away. There was security to guide. There was another outdoor function as well. Ambience was good. The auditorium was very good, well lit, around 500 ppl can be easily accommodated. The hand wash areas were clean. The dining area was also big but there was no AC there so it was a bit difficult to stay in the area for long. The lighting in the dining area could be better. The food was good. Honey chilly potato, chicken tikka, pachakurumulak fish, mutton kuruma, were all good. All the food was tasty but the Naan was very rubbery and I didn't like the Appam as both were not made live. So after some time the taste was not good. Desserts were also very good. There is also a restaurant and bar in the premises.

We received things after we asked for them - towels, etc. We reached very late at night but they accommodated our booking nicely. We didn’t eat here so don’t know about food. It’s a good medium budget hotel. Don’t look for style and luxury here.

Could have been more explanation required at night hangouts. After 11pm they will deliberately switch the light off without the consent of the customer they intake till..10.59pm. understand the bar serving till 10.30pm to order your last dinner but you need to be in hurry to wind things up as they require to leave the premises by 11pm without any prior notice.. pure negligence from management side. It used be a good restaurants in Kochi.. but the demand does not satisfy the needs of a customer. Unsatisfied with the service provided

Didn't feel the quality of a star hotel... better was a normal lodge... We choose it because the location is easy to access.. But the rooms were horrible. TV was not working in our room, bathroom door cannot be locked 😫 😤 We ordered 2 pineapple juice, only one came and the reply was no more pineapple juice is left... I don't recommend this if you are looking for a star hotel near edapally.

The party hall is beautiful. The ambience there is great. Good parking facility. Can't say the same for the food at the party. Rotis were more like papad and the curries were quite salty. But in all honesty, have had better food from here not too far back in the past.

Just another average bar with "OK" food. Tried 'Konjee Crispy Beef (8/10)', the liquor tasted a bit odd. Hope it wasn't duplicate stuff. The funny thing was the place wasn't that crowded, still the guys forgot to give us peg glasses & a beer mug. A frozen mug would have changed the entire drinking experience for sure. But other wise its an outdoor bar lit with dim lighting.

It's an old property and is being renovated. Right on the highway. Rooms were clean. Parking is plenty. They have open spaces and a convention center as well. The washroom in our room was smelly and they did not have hot running water.

Had a great time celebrating Onam at this place which our company organised..The space is great for the location. Ample parking and the Convention Center is good for upto 500 attendees. The washing areas and toilets can be better.

I'm very disappointed with their customer service. They don't know how to deal with the customer. We need to wait and call them for food. It is pathetic. We expect more from Highway Garden. Please improve the customer service. Thank you Sheetal

Had food and beer at thier open lawn. It was much cheaper and a better experience than many closed bars in the city. Food quality depends on sort of dish served. Fish is good but others are just okay. Problem with var hotels is that they assume people come to get drunk and lose their taste buds so anything is okay.

Good ambience if you love sitting outdoor. If it rains it’s not suggestable. Rates are higher compared with other bars which has more facilities than here. Good parking facilities are available. Other main highlight is it very near to highway. If you love sitting in out door and enjoying drinks 🍺 always highway garden is suggestable . Apart from cost the served food taste is good. Chilling out with friends n enjoying night sitting outdoor n having drinks is suggested at highway garden.

A budget friendly stay option in Kochi for people looking for medium range properties. Location is easily accessible from the Highway and rooms are maintained well. Value for the money we pay. Recommended

The only reason why I'm recommending this hotel is only if you are looking for a budget friendly accomodation close to edappally and palarivattam this is your place. 1. If you are going with kids and if they need to get a shower don't forget to bring your own water heater as this hotel doest provide hot water. 2. Rooms stink , mostly cigarette smell+ smell of a room that hasn't seen sun light. The house keeping staff will say it's the smell of paint , trust me it's cigarette 🚬, I think it's the cleaning staff who smokes inside the rooms so that they might not get caught in the CCTV. 3. Only 1/3 lights in the bathroom works, and if you bring this to the hotel staffs notice you can see Oscar level acting. 4. Stains on the bed. 5. Bring your notice cancellation headsets as there's a very chance that you might hear the steel plates hitting each other almost all the time. They would say the kitchen is close by. 6. The bathroom sanitary items are either from stone age or may be from ice age. If by any chance you get a cut from once of those items , Tetanus injection is a must. 7. Adequate space for parking 👍

Tried their open bar for the first time and the seating arrangements n the food was enjoyable and worth the prices. But the service seemed on the lower side and the orders weren’t served on time and we had to remind them regarding the same! And we wanted to order some food for the second time and asked for the menu which we didn’t get at all and we ended up asking for the cheque and they were quick enough with that! Parking is hassle free too!

I have been visiting highway garden from time to time since child hood. Now I'm 32 and my last visit along with few of my colleagues wasn't pleasant at all. Service was just okay. Food needs a lot of attention. As I was with some of my guests it was truly disappointing. Being at the center of the Edapally, Highway Garden needs to deliver quality and deal with the customers with care. Most ordinary Bar hotels would have much more quality food and care for customers. There are n number of service people there but still they couldn't deliver the food on time and the response was really casual. I won't blame the waitress who attended my table but I would blame the management for taking customers for granted. I won't recommend my beloved guests anymore to the garden restaurant anymore. I'm deeply sad because I did not expect such a cold and lack of quality service at Highway garden.

1 star because of the mosquito problem at the garden bar. It's unbearable. Even the staff says they've raised this many times with the management but nothing's being done The food and service is decent. Pricing is slightly high - at par with much better places like mezzo and velocity. If not for the mosquito problem, I'd give it 3.5stars

Easy to reach place. Huge facility and big rooms..but only one star due to poor maintenance. No hygiene, showers won't work properly, sometimes water may not come in washroom. TV ws not working in my room. Food quality is pathetic. Staff are very pleasing & ready to help.

It has an excellent lawn with a spacious dining and bar area. There is adequate parking and the location is easily accessible from the highway. The food was good and the service was excellent as well.

They have spacious parking, and have an outdoor seating area with shamiana, where one could enjoy food with friends/ family. The food is also very good.
