One of the best places to explore Chettinad cuisine in Erode - the atmosphere is pretty good with open air and AC seating arrangements - ideal for large groups / family / meals post official meetings. There is also a separate area for kids to play. There is a separate juice and milk shake centre providing good options. Ample car parking space is available.

Erode Royal chettinad has both veg and non-veg food options. They have tried to create a rustic chettinad type ambience, but not exactly. The menu card comes when we scan the QR.... The cricket match was live telecasted... only a few could see and to that environment it didn't suit well too ... The food was oily and curd rice didn't taste curdy it was with so much milk ... Butter naan was toooo much oily...! Had two halls at the back with 100 & 50 capacity. Has huts to have a family exclusive dining area. Had rabbits and ducks in cages ...with kids play area , ice cream zone and parking area. On the main road ... Quality and taste could be improved.

We choose to have food at thudil, ambience is good and kind server. Customer friendly restaurant. They do have birds and other stuffs to look around. Taste is fine and neat. #Recommended Overall experience - 3.5/5

This place has a super ambience, it has a good food, my favourite was Japan chicken.

Chettinad is in only in the name and ambiance, other than that thing u cannot expect any kinda Chettinad taste ...biriyani is like kokarako biriyani with twice the cost ...so think twice before u go here ....if u wanna bust ur money then this is the definettly to go place ...food is too much oily taste is very average ...

Totally, waste for money. We order chicken biryani it was not hot we returned it back. And we ordered Kari dosa worst Kari dosa ever l have tasted.they give mineral water bottle as mandatory.the customer service was very bad. Price of the food was also too high for the no reason. I won't recommend this restaurant.

So enjoyed well with family around ten members. Taste was yummy and the menu was quite a lot to taste different varieties. Good place and good service. Don't miss the final touch of payasam for sure it's delicious !!!!

Taste of the food is very good. Little pricey but worth for the food. Sometimes its tough to get the dine-in inside Hut. We went there around 1:30pm and we got the Hut. Parking spot is little tight, but the security helped for the parking. Overall good for a family dining. I would recommend.

Except the soup, Naan and Rotti every other dish were like reheated food. Overpriced for the quality of food provided. But the efforts taken to provide a Chettinad house ambience has to be lauded.

Good option to have non veg dinner in an open space with Tamil video songs on a big screen.

Not the best place. Had mutton briyani , meat was well cooked but rice was extremely spicey and oily. Briyani was sticky. The portion was huge for one person. The waiter even when asked bedore did not inform this.

Worst taste, they were good in taste in beginning not sure what changed...Chettinadu chicken Masala is cheat don't try... Japan chicken also not up to the mark...bad service...

Food tastes good. Very spacious restaurant. The person serving takes long time and won't be available at your call. Order a veg meals. Intially they brought less rice quantity and informed that we can get extra rice. Asked another server for extra rice and they told us not to share meals, though we didn't share it. Kind of rude behaviour.

They have hut area which is my favourite and one of the best spot in erode. They also have Kids play area which we used until food is served & they also had kids chair which is very thoughtful. I came in for lunch with my family of 6 members which costed around 4k and all varieties were good in taste. Cost will be bit higher than normal , but it felt worthy.

Ambience are too cool you can enjoy with ur family and friends here.. All the dishes were tasty.. feel price bit costly.. when it ll crowd won’t get place easily.. if they range queue to get an table who First came it would be good..

Unfortunately I tried veg n they had only very few options like fried rise n noodles. Teste not good..my friend tried chicken was good but mutton was rubbery. With that much high cost we were disappointed bcoz of teste

The place is not worth for the money. I have been here for having lunch recently. Few things irritated me with their restaurant are as follows. 1. There was no water available in the washroom. 2. Without even asking, they serve only the bottled water in which they put in the bill. In most of the restaurants, they will ask the customers about their preference in this case. 3. The taste and quantity of the food is not worth the money which they charge. 4. Their hospitality is not appreciable. We were a total of 6 members having lunch in the afternoon. They did not even bother to switch on the fans for our table. 5. They have very less varieties in the menu. Even a mid level restaurant in Erode will offer more varieties.
