This is a lovely wee beach down by the river Clyde. Its got really nice walkways and little bits to stop and sit. Perfect for kids if you're in the Glasgow area and don't want to drive as far as Ayr for a beach. The coastal path was a really nice walk and take you right under the Erskine Bridge. Perfect for dogs too. A wee bucket and spade for the wee one for next time. Perfect wee spot for taking a big blanket and some lunch and let the kids play in the summer.

This is a great place for families, dogs and anyone looking for a nice walk. A heavily wooded area as well as scenic walks along the banks of the River Clyde. Lots of bird to observe and boats.

Lots of great walks around the woods and great views to discover. Also have the Clyde walkway further down which takes you to Erskine beach.

One of our favourite places to go for a walk no matter what the weather. Needs more bins though

Great outdoor walks for children, dogs & adults alike. The beach is a wonderful spot for a picnic & barbeque. There are seating areas along walks, where you may barbeque & picnic. Peaceful Forrest walks in an easily accessible area.

Amazing community of dogs walkers :) sadly abused by some of the locals. Rubbish left on the beach.

Love this location, gorgeous woods, small beach too, very picturesque under the Erskine Bridge. Great for dogs, just a pity that not everyone takes their litter home with them. There are plenty of bins near the car park, so why throw your rubbish on the beach?

Beach, park and woods everything in one area. Went about 14:30 and it was busy especially as it was a nice day. Great to let the dog go for a run and plenty for him to smell.

This is a lovely place for a walk with the dogs, my labrador loves a swim and playing with her ball. Feels like you are away from it all

Wee forest, dog friendly we spent the morning there socializing our dog with other dogs. People are quite nice and friendly in that area. There are some safe places to do dog training

This is an ideal off lead walk for my energetic dogs. There is no livestock, and in general, the people who walk there are also enjoying the freedom the woods provide. If you keep to the paths, it is mud free, too.
