Sugary sands and crystal clear water. One of my favorite beaches in the US. I prefer the beaches in the gulf coast to the ones on the east coast of Florida. Lesser crowds and cleaner beaches. The pier provides some great photo opportunities with the panaromic view of the Pensacola skyline. We visited the beach during sunset and it is spectacular. There is a small admission fee (about $5 for 2 people) to get there and it's more than worth that amount.

Great place to go for a walk or you can also fish. They charge $7.50 for fishing or less then $3 for just watching. You also get a great view at the beach. Absolutely beautiful, also great to go on a nice walk with your significant other, they have chairs. You can watch the sun set or rise.

Wow it was just beautiful, the emerald green waters splashed on the shore & the white sand at the shore was easy to walk on. For me it brought back memories, when I was in the navy NAS Pensacola was where I was stationed & the changes we’ll from 1964 to 2023, 59 years of growth really made it look different. I’m 64 there was. Pavilion & a carousel, and now it’s high rise condominiums & houses for rent that go for 3K a week but it was nice to go back & see the changes.

Great place to chat with fisherman about their catches, the beracuda and the lady fish, and watch the shoreline. With a small fee charge, it is ceryainly worthwhile

This is a beautiful beach. There is a pier as well. Its nice to walk on the pier and get beautiful views of the beach. We even spotted some dolphins from the pier. Lot of people were fishing as well. Sunset at the beach was beautiful. They have a huge parking lot with beach access.

It was nice, but FYI you have to pay to walk, the pier is crawling with people fishing, and it's hot (duh, but it's amplified on that pier). Don't walk it without a hat if you're bald, even if you're not I recommend a hat, sunscreen and dark sunglasses. All in all, it was beautiful though

My husband and I had a really great time walking down the pier to the end and back!! We saw a lot of people fishing, you don't need a license to do so. We saw a cute Pelican! He would wait for people to catch fish then go over to them and practically "beg" for them to give him one, lol. We also saw jellyfish near the pier. The water is so beautiful and clear!!

Stretching out across the emerald green waters over 1470 feet beyond 2 sand bars into the Gulf of Mexico is the Pensacola Beach Fishing Pier. What a spectacular view! I swear it has the most beautiful sunrise and sunset! Highly recommended whether you're going fishing or just strolling to enjoy the view.

Oh my! Well worth my money! We saw sea turtles, small sharks and the best moment was a dolphin came by and stole a man's fish on the line. He played with it right in front of us. It was a nice Pier with lots of seating. We went early morning on a Wednesday. Thanks Pensacola! You're awesome!

The water in the ocean is very transparent. The beach is clean with white sand. There is a public big parking lot by the beach. Facilities like showers and restrooms are available between the beach and the parking lot which is very convenient.

Perfect place to watch the sunrise/sunset. I enjoy my pier walks and I am grateful to be able to walk it any time I want since I live so close. There’s no telling what you will see! Every time I go, I see different things. Sharks, turtles, dolphins, big fish, sting rays, etc. Definitely recommend to take a walk here at least once, for the experience!

Just gorgeous. Well worth the money for a day pass. Fishers are busy in the morning but everyone is having fun which is awesome to see. Sunsets and sun rises are so beautiful. Lots of room in thr bathroom. Very clean.

This was the highlight of our trip. In under an hour we saw jellyfish, dolphins, turtles, schools of fish. Way more than we saw on the dolphin cruise.. Definitely underrated and worth the trip!

I used to live in lakeland. Pensacola was more than 450 miles away toward the end of Florida. It was a long drive from Lakeland but the beach visit was really worth it. Quite Clean beach and good morning and evening views. It was not much traffic the day I visited and getting parking was also quite easy. Some really nice memories.

I’ve been visiting this beach & pier since I was a little girl. The sand is fine, soft and beautifully white, and the waters is the most perfect shades of turquoise and blue. There are several parking options just a short distance from the sand. Also a coffee shop and fishing gear rentals.
