We have stayed here a number of times over the years, and the hotel is in need of an update and refresh. Bed is uncomfortable and not up to Holiday Inn standards in comparison to other locations. It even had squeaky springs when rolling over or readjusting, waking the other person. Shower has black substance and corrosion along door. Couch is sagging and stained, and furniture tops are worn. Curtains are torn. It was clean, but didn’t feel sanitary, if that makes sense. We were in room 801. The mini-refrigerator and coffee maker (pod style) worked great. The towels were nice and bedding clean. Staff was kind and professional and provided supplies when we needed them. The pool area was a hit and used every day as we were under red flag our whole stay. Plenty of towels to use in the pool area. The hotel location is great, allowing you to walk to several shops and restaurants. I think that for the $$$ we may go back to one of the other name brand chains that have “nicer” rooms and decor for the same price. A good night’s sleep and a good shower can make a world of difference. Especially since we were hit with so much rain this week, we were unable to be on the beach as much as we had hoped, and were stuck in our rooms more. Kudos to the hotel staff who were helping in the lobby when a fierce storm hit us at the pool. One woman in particular, slight framed and older, not only was quick to mop up the floors from our dripping bodies, but passed out fresh, dry towels! She was amazing, and I’d give her 5 stars! Sadly I couldn’t see her name tag…

Gorgeous surroundings, clean lovely lobby, stunning location, huge pool with lazy river right on the ocean, location couldn't be better- great for families with kids, not a couples place. Room was gross and outdated, trash under bed, couldn't walk in room barefoot two feet without blackened feet, unfortunately handicap bathroom made shower water go everywhere, definitely ridiculously expensive for such a yucky room but maybe worth it due to the location and staff at front desk were superb, free breakfast delicious, nice service. As you can see from photos, you pay for the beautiful surroundings! Lots of kids. Activities geared towards kids and families as opposed to romantic get away for a couple

We just finished a 3 night stay. My family loved every minute of it. We stayed in the lazy river for most of the trip. All of the staff were very friendly, helpful, and courteous. The surrounding area in Pensacola Beach is beautiful. The Gulf was beautiful from our balcony view. Nothing but good things to say about this trip.

Location is AMAZING…we had the best view! The room we went with was a pretty basic, beachside hotel room. We didn’t spend much time in the hotel room though. There was a restaurant and little game room that was great when it rained us out from the beach!

We had the absolute BEST time here this past weekend. This is my new favorite hotel on the beach, and I don't think we will ever stay anywhere else. Though I saw plenty of adults here just having fun, if you have kids, you should definitely book here. The pool area is amazing. The pool tapers off to the deck like a beach, the lazy river is fabulous, and they even had actors dressed up like mermaids and pirates to entertain my daughter in and around the pool area while I just relaxed and soaked up the sun. They have a big cooler full of icy cold bottled water at the pool, and also servers walking around to see if you want to order any food/drink from the on site restaurant. If you don't feel like swimming or going to the beach, they have hammock and chairs set up in a grassy area under the palm trees by a fire pit, which is great place to doze off or read a book. We had intended on doing more exploring around the hotel during our stay, the hotel literally had every single thing we needed/wanted, so we spent our entire time there. HUGE sidenote: The staff at this hotel was beyond wonderful. From the moment we checked in at the front desk, everyone was very welcoming and seemed genuinely happy to see us, help in any way, and answer all of our questions. I have never encountered such a kind group of people during a hotel stay. And it made all the difference in the world, and made us feel right at home. This truly is a resort, and I can't recommend it enough. We will definitely be back. Thank you for the best weekend we've had in ages!

The room w the bunks could use some improvements, outlets on each bunk space, a light of some sort for each bunk ours had zero lights in that area. The shower pressure was non existing and almost as if taking a Luke warm shower, water barely drained as well. Call for maintenance due to a toilet clog after 30 minutes gave up. I'd also suggest adding some sort of ventilation or fan in the indoor pool area, the chemical smell is strong and that alone made us not use that pool.

I came to Pensacola in November, and I just got a day pass to the resort; to enjoy the temperated pool and the hot tub; and it was a great decision doing that! The pool was nice and clean, with a beautiful lazy river, clean restrooms, good food, and friendly staff!.. I'll definitely come later again during Summer time!

No complaints regarding the hotel which we have visited many times. The restaurant, Rip Tides, leaves a lot to be desired. The front desk staff as well as the housekeeping staff are kind and helpful. The lazy river is a favorite for my children, and the gulf views from our room balcony can NOT be beat!

Excellent stay! Friendly staff across the board from check-in to check out. Thanks Maria for a fast check out. Hotel is was a quick walk to the boardwalk where they had 4th of July fireworks 🎆 . Added bonus, got to see the Blue Angels the morning we checked out getting ready for an upcoming show! Festivity decorated for Independence Day!

We had the best vacation! Rooms were super clean, very comfortable beds and the hardest working staff in housekeeping, waitstaff and pool area always available and always cleaning or waiting on guests. We upgraded our package to include breakfast which was very convenient and lots of options. The food and drinks at the tiki bar were excellent. Great location right on the beach and a beautiful ocean view from the balcony. The whole family enjoyed the heated pool with lazy river and hot tubs. Trust me you will not be disappointed if you stay here we will be back!!

Location is good, unfortunately, I could not speak lower of any service I have ever had at any hotel/resort. The "themes" at the pool were cheap and unamusing for my 6 and 3 yo who love pirates and mermaids. The lazy river is short and full of people. Drinks at the bar are overpriced. If you want to eat breakfast there be prepared to wait. Rooms were not clean. In addition, my room flooded while we were out of the room, they didn't offer us another room until the following day, so we slept in a swamp. There are just too many hotels and condos along this beach line to be happy with this level of service to cost ratio. Highly suggest to keep looking if you're considering this "resort".

First time staying in Pensacola and loved it just because of this hotel! We really didn’t have to leave because everything we needed was right here at the hotel. Staff (amazing) they have lots of guest to clean up after and they were always doing just that! The lazy river was by far our favorite part! The beach is just right there so we went back and forth. Staff was amazing and towels were always available when needed. I will be back and will definitely recommend this place to everyone! Oh yeah I almost forget, we didn’t have a room on ocean side but the bay side was just a pretty view.

I have stayed here before with my family but the staff service went above and beyond this time! We are staying through Labor Day and my teenage daughter forgot something hygiene wise and I was driving all over the island whilst trying to meet our family for breakfast and couldn’t find what we needed and I called down to the front desk and Lacie was incredible. As I sit her eating with my family able to enjoy lunch and not having to go off island because she provided what my daughter needed and was extremely sweet about it! Thank you so so much and thanks for a great stay!!!

Good location if your just looking for beach front. Rooms are out dated and a little dirty. For the room cost I would expect nicer beds and pillows. Breakfast buffet is a bit pricey especially when you get the same thing or better at other Holiday Inns included with your room. Had a great time tho. Beautiful beach. Awesome pool.

This hotel is awesome if you have kids, mine enjoy the lazy river. They have wait staff that walk around the pool deck and you are able to order from the on site restaurant. There is also an outside bar. At night its nice to sit by the fire pits and relax while talking to other guest and having genuine conversations. The hotel staff is very awesome and helpful. Malick whole works at the desk was very knowledgeable and helpful. Its with in walking distance of some really good restaurants if you choose not to dine in the one on property. I highly recommend that if you are looking for a place to stay with the kids look no further.

Our room was clean, the food was decent, but the service was superb. Although some our requests took some time to accommodate due to staff shortages, they were all met with a smile. You can tell the staff takes pride I caring for the property. Hopefully the owners will take care of them as well so this place will continue to thrive. Excellent stay!

Good hotel for young families. The beach access and the lazy river/zero entry pool was a winning combo. Everyone was laid back and easy going. I liked how you could bring pool floaties/toys in for the little kids. Mermaid and pirates were a big hit. The restaurant inside was travel affordable and kids eating free was a plus. Game room was maybe a little underwhelming but there are neighboring venues to shop/play. Just a good family trip hotel.

We stayed here for our honeymoon. I booked with booking.com. (I will never use them again.) They took our payment a week before our stay, then told the hotel we didn’t pay yet. The manager, Kayla was so helpful and nice. She took care of everything and called booking.com to sort out it for us and got us in our room quickly. All of the staff is super friendly! The rooms were nice and clean. We will definitely stay here again! I can’t say enough wonderful things about this hotel and staff.

They didnt clean our room on night 3 of our stay. We came home from our activities and nothing was done. The treadmill didn't work. It was 90 degrees outside so wanted to get a 30 to 40 minutes on the treadmill. The fitness center is dated ,old and in need of a face lift. Pool was nice. Restaurant was good enjoyed the grouper. Good location on the Gulf of Mexico, close to restaurants and the pier.
