A fun burger joint near the Santa Barbara Garden in the historic district. We went for an early dinner and enjoyed the setting sun over the garden and dragon fountain. We started with the Bacon Roll ups for an appetizer. We ordered #1 and # , both medium well, no red. I did say I'd take a well done, but not dried out. Alas, as you can see, mine was quite red and I didn't eat most of it, which is too bad, because what I did eat was quite good and the meat seemed seasoned. The hamburger buns were freshly made and tasty and we had the chips with oregano at our waiter's suggestion. My guess is burgers not cooked to order are the reason this very popular, always busy, place only gets a 4.4 rating, because the quality of ingredients is quite high. They do have chicken and veggies burger options, too. I'd rank our experience as an overall 4.1 4.1 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Perfect place for hungry sunny day out there in Braga. I recomend sitting on terrace, if the weather is pleasing to you, you won't regret it. You can have very vivid and super tasty burger with french fries or crisps for about 8 euro in the hamburgeria. The waitress was little shy, but I don't mind. 4/5

A nice burger restaurant in the center of Braga. Food quality is very good, and tasty! I ordered one burger with french fries, the burger was great but the potatoes were not well fried making them soft but tasty. I think I should have ordered crisps instead. Service was very fast and staff very polite! In general I have a very positive impression, so I recommend this.

It is perfect place. Generally prices between 4.50 or 6.50 euros for hamburgers.. and good about vegeterians.. they have salmon burger also :) nice place.

Easily the best buger I've had in Portugal. The staff are friendly. I don't speak any Portuguese, the staff speak English. Add a jug of shangria 😀

There are many places to get a good burger in Braga. Hamburgueria DeGema is at the top of that list.

The bread they use is probably a winner of "the worst and cheapest" contest. Dudes, bread cannot be white/pale, if it's made of more or less good ingredients. Sad :-(

The restaurant specializes in hamburgers and this is proven by their quality after the first bite. The quality of the product is really good for the price they have. I ordered the "Tripeiro" hamburger and the result, together with the francesinha sauce it came with, was truly amazing. The hamburger meat is of high quality and is really tasty. As for the chips, you can choose the classic "stick" format or the chips format (in my opinion the chips format is a better option). They have a few craft beers with different flavors that are very good. The attention of the waiters was simply excellent. They spoke to us with great respect and were always willing to help and advise us. In short, a great option for lunch or dinner in Braga. We will certainly repeat if we return to the city.

Really nice place with friendly staff and great location. They have 3 vegan burgers which was great for me and it worked out cheaper than the vegan restaurants in town. Really tasty food and a very reasonable price, only €10:15 for burger, fries and a drink. 🙂

Good burguer and place. Staff a bit rude, when my dad asked for a mayo to eat with the Francesinha they made funny of him. I'd expect more respect!!!
