Well,
what
can
I
say?
A
CP
that
was
different
in
every
way
than
what
I
knew.
The
CP
is
located
directly
on
the
Ruhr.
The
square
is
quiet
despite
its
central
location.
Shopping,
local
transport,
restaurants,
everything
can
be
found
in
the
immediate
vicinity.
Cars
must
be
parked
outside
the
campsite,
mobile
homes
(vehicles)
may
be
parked
on
the
campsite.
Reason:
Flood
protection
or
protection
in
the
event
of
possible
flooding.
Whatever,
I
didn't
understand.
Cars
and
mobile
homes
are
cars
for
me.
Looking
for
a
reception
or
registration?
Well,
you
just
ask
someone
sitting
in
front
of
the
caravan
and
lo
and
behold,
without
a
word
a
prepared
form
(we
were
registered)
is
taken
out
of
the
caravan.
Signature,
handover
of
keys,
done.
A
little
later
another
person
came,
much
more
talkative,
and
told
us
something
about
the
place,
the
surroundings,
etc.
The
registration
process
was
a
bit
bizarre.
The
pitches
are
concrete,
partly
paved.
Drive
in
pegs?
Impossible!
That
was
very
unusual
for
me,
but
it
made
sense
given
the
heavy
rainfall
during
our
stay.
The
pitches
stayed
firm
and
didn't
get
muddy.
There
are
also
grass
and
green
areas
on
the
campsite.
Electricity
is
of
course
available.
Showers
and
sanitary
facilities
spacious
and
clean.
Guard
machines
would
also
have
been
available
for
an
additional
charge.
Very
good.
In
my
opinion,
the
campsite
is
run
by
an
association
that
rents
primarily
to
long-term
campers
(all
year
round)
and
earns
a
little
extra
money
from
short-term
campers
like
us.
All
in
all,
everything
was
fine
on
the
CP,
but
I
didn't
feel
comfortable
there.
As
I
said,
I
have
no
criticism
to
make
other
than
“cars
have
to
stay
outside”.
To
me
the
CP
seemed
like
a
junkyard.
I
apologize,
but
this
was
my
personal
impression.
Maybe
it's
because
I'm
a
country
bumpkin
and
got
lost
in
the
city.
