Love this place. My wife and I go here for date night. We also have come here with the kids since it’s real family friendly. One of our favorite places in Beverly. If you haven’t tried it it’s absolute must. Wednesday night is wing night and their wings are great. Sushi is great. Entrées are great. I haven’t had anything there I don’t like.

We went there with my co-workers to celebrate a couple of anniversaries. The sushi was really good and I also got a leek soup with it which is very tasty. The staff was extremely friendly and my coworkers loved the other food that was able to be ordered. If you want to be able to go to a burger/ higher-end bar food place that also has fresh sushi being made this is the place to go.

Excellent pub food and approachable sushi and a killer drink menu make for a regular visit from me! They also do nightly specials so check it out!

We dined at the Hale St Tavern on 2/4/23. We were seated almost immediately. We ordered a coconut margarita and a dirty banana. Both were delicious. My gf had the French onion soup, which she loved. I had the pork dumplings which were very good, but just a little too crispy. For entrees, we both had Shepherds pie. Delicious and good portions. For dessert, we split the warm chocolate cookie with ice cream. It tasted good, but overcooked. I will return but it's not currently on the top of my favorite restaurants list.

We always enjoy the rolls. Wish there were a few more non fish options for my young "sushi" eaters, but all in all, the food is good!

Beautiful inside! Friendly service! The fish was huge and didn't taste fishy at all! I loved it!!

Great neighborhood tavern with great atmosphere and food selection. The sushi options are top notch. I personally recommend the Red Sox rolls and spicy crunchy rolls. They used to have a sushi burrito, I hope they bring it back soon! The drinks are strong and generous. Highly recommended!

Nice looking place staff was nice but the food was just not good. I couldn't detect any seasonings on anything we ordered it was very disappointing. The menu is a little all over the place too from sushi to other random dishes I feel like this place has an identity crisis and for the price you would think it would just be more.

Had dinner here... blackberry slushy (yum), and blackened haddock tacos 🌮..great food, service and atmosphere.

We enjoy this place and keep coming back. It's a great place to relax with friends! The service is great, and we have enjoyed the salmon, sushi, and salads.

Love this place, we go there often as it's very close to my son's college. Great service, excellent food, great atmosphere. Parking sucks when its busy but it's a downtown location, so to be expected.

I'm really bummed to give this review because I've been eager to try this restaurant. My boyfriend and I stopped by here on a Wednesday night and walked up to the hostess booth. A few of the waitstaff were standing there and looked up but never said a word to us, no "we'll be with you in a moment" or even a "hello." We stood there awkwardly for a few minutes without any acknowledgment by the waitstaff and walked out.

Joshua and John were great. Very friendly, incredibly accommodating and just overall very affable. The service makes it. Also the best clam chowder we've ever had.

Came here with appetites and excited to try a new place. Sat at the bar and waited at least 10 minutes before one of the bartenders took our drink order. The other bartender was walking around the bar picking up empty glasses and chatting with people. The first bartender finally made our drinks and we got them 10 minutes after we ordered them. We ordered the dumplings appetizer which tasted okay. Not bad but not great. We wanted to order food but couldn't get anyone to come over to us. We asked the guy who brought our food if we could order and he said "I can't take your order, I'm just a food runner" so then we asked the female bartender (who was working very hard and super busy). She said "yes, but I'll have to come back". We waited another 10 minutes and she never came back. The male bartender opened a bottle of wine while watching Wheel of Fortune, then he picked up a few more empty glasses off the bar and then walked over and chatted with some folks in the corner. We finally got his attention long enough to get the check. Went and had dinner somewhere else. Abigail, thank you for your response. My bf said he will never go back to Hale Street but I'd be willing to try it again! : )

Picked the place at random and the food was very decent, service very good, and plenty of sports coverage for those following the games. Also some very good cocktails. Added to my NE restaurant list!

I always eat here. One of the very few good restaurants left that don't take reservations, so you can always get a table. You may have to wait sometimes, but at least you'll get a meal. The food is great; it's a Serenity group restaurant, which means the fish is always fresh. Sushi is awesome!

Amazing atmosphere, great food, the people that work there are just amazing. Moved to Beverly 3 years ago and it’s our local spot.

Great meal overall. The pot stickers and buratta bruschetta were great as was the sushi. The drinks we ordered were good but a better mid/top shelf bourbon selection would be nice. The key lime pie slice was huge but very dense and almost no lime flavor which was a bummer. We love the Serenitee restaurants and will be back to Hale Street for sure.

Oysters were good. Sushi was fantastic. Unusual variety of preparation. Fried calamari was great. Excellent beer selection.

Excellent sushi & steak tips

My wife and I stopped in for an early weekday dinner. We had a bit of a wait to get in but the food and atmosphere were well worth it. The menu had so many great options and the service was good. We had Caesar Salad, Free Range Chicken Piccata and Jambalaya, - it was outstanding. and enjoyed the food. It is a really nice place, should not be missed. Parking can be somewhat limited.

So tasty place. Oysters was amazing , also get patriot’s roll. Highly recommend.

This place was a GEM! We were certainly not expecting the most delicious sushi when we walked in but boy were we treated. So we’ll we went back the next night too. The drinks were fun, the Almond Joy and the slushies were my favorite. The staff, the drinks the food, it was all better than good! If we were locals, this would be our spot for sure.
