Not worth it. The H10 Estepona is far cry from a 4 star hotel. The photos on the website do not match the actual hotel rooms. There are no king beds in the junior ocean suites - our group booked 4 rooms and all of them had twin beds pushed together - no 4 poster king beds. Rooms are small and the balconies are two plastic chairs and a plastic table. We asked for a different room and they showed us an identical room so no point in changing. The staff seem miserable and overworked so they are snappy and short with their answers/help. They seem to be trained to say no to every request and are quick to anger. Chalk it up to being understaffed/overworked/treated poorly. The all-inclusive is not actually all inclusive. You need to have a guide to navigate what you can and can’t have plus it changes by the hour of the day. Also some bars in the hotel are not in the all inclusive despite serving the same drinks. I suggest not booking all inclusive if you are going to stay. They also ran out of a lot of stuff during the stay - particularly ice cream. Be prepared to be shouted at at any given moment about ridiculous rules that aren’t posted anywhere but seem to be enforced on a staff by staff basis. It’s anyone’s guess what the rules are. Nothing is sound proof - you can hear everything from the hallway and the balcony and they crank the music at full blast outside until midnight. And blast the kids club music inside the lobby at full volume. The housekeeping is lovely and they leave you chocolates every night which is really sweet. The animation team is lively and fun, but the kids club was filthy. The pool is nice and cold, this is the most enjoyable part of the hotel. There was a lot of mold in our shower so I wore sandals to shower in the room. I wouldn’t have written a review at all if the manager didn’t laugh in my face when I was giving feedback. They get fully booked regardless of their terrible service so no point in fixing what’s broken.

A mixed bag. Travelled with family, in bed and breakfast basis so can't comment on lunch/dinner. The food looks good and there is a wide variety, but it's poor quality. Butter had black spots on and smelt bad, even the new stock that came out when we mentioned it, this was rectified eventually. Chilled food such as yogurts/meat/cheeses were not kept cold enough. Cakes were bordering on stale. Fruit was hard. Toasties were nice, as were churros. Ridiculous policy re what is and isn't allowed poolside. There are rowdy games being played by the entertainment team with balls, floats etc, yet guests are not allowed to play a quiet game of ball in a quiet area of the pool. It makes no sense at all and could be easily remedied, as there are 3 pools here and one could be kept free of games. Lifeguards should be called the Fun Police. They are quick to challenge children/teenagers but also prefer to ignore adults breaking the 'rules' The hotel are happy to allow alcohol to be drunk in the pool by groups. Drinks are expensive, and cocktails are poor. The entertainment in the evenings wasn't for us, and the bar areas of the hotel had no atmosphere. Its a bit like a conference centre with pools. Fortunately we had a car to get to the town every evening where the restaurants were brilliant. The beach is stony but fine, and easy to access. We enjoyed swimming in the sea. The cleanliness of the hotel is really good, staff were lovely (despite enforcing daft rules) and our rooms were nice and comfortable.

I decided to treat my wife and myself to a four-star hotel in Estepona for a well-earned two week break after one and half years in the Covid crises. on the website this hotel looked really lovely, we requested a double room with sea view when we booked in July 2021, we arrived on the 23rd August lunchtime, we went to our room it was small but clean, furniture was looking a little tired, first we went for lunch in the hotel restaurant, there was a good selection of hot and cold food, staff were pleasant but expensive for a buffet lunch. We then decided to walk around the pool and beach area, we where shocked to see how close the sun loungers where beside each other (No social distancing) the pool area was too small for the amount people there. But worse than that we were disgusted at how dirty the sun loungers were and also areas around the pool. We went onto the beach behind the hotel where there were sun loungers and umbrellas for use only by the hotel guests, they too were disgusting, in our opinion this dirt had been there not days not week but months, a power washer once a week would keep then clean from dirt and possible germs. When we complained we were told Maybe they got dirty from the night before!!! We decided we could not enjoy a two weeks holiday in this hotel and requested our money be returned. It took three days with many discussions before they finally agreed to refund us but was only after we threatened to take legal action, but I had to sign a document stating I would not sue then in the future. This is not a four-star hotel and definitely not a Palace, we would grade this hotel a two star. PS. During are time there we took many pictures as proof

Really welcoming hotel facilities are great pools are excellent staff are friendly and accommodating. It the type of hotel that when your on the bus transfer from the airport and someone gets off your secretly kicking yourself that you didn't choose it.. been there done that one. All in all really nice hotel with evening entertainment and great for singles couples and families.

Good location, tasty food. Terrible cocktails. Decent house keeping. Biggest fault is waiting staff take ages, seems like they are understaffed, but insist they’re not. There are too many ridicules rules which make absolutely no sense. Such as you get blocked when you hit £500 limit on a hotel bill so have to settle the bill before you can continue to order more. Quite embarrassing at dinner when I had to explain myself and everyone looking at me like I can’t afford my dinner. Also, water is not provided, you have to pay extra for each bottle… 4 star hotels normally provide it. Spa access is not included and is not cheap 19€ for 1.5hrs so be aware! More rules in the spa, have to wear a cap, no water provided again so make sure you bring your own. Screaming kids everywhere as well unfortunately. Beautiful views of the ocean and a private beach albeit pebbled. I wouldn’t be returning but might suit families with children as some good kids activities.

It’s a nice hotel with too many drawbacks Although this is a nice hotel, with nice rooms and a nice pool, there are some things you should consider before booking: 1. The rooms are far from sound proof. You will be waked by others in the hall way early 2. Far too few sun beds. Advice was given to put your towel on your sun bed as early as 07:00. 3. No policy on removing unused towels on the sun-beds. Although the reception states this is a policy, the guys at the pool advice you to come very early 4. No improvement of point 2 and 3 after providing feedback. This is a shame. 5. Key cards reset often, making you go to the reception (and wait) often. Has never happened with my other RFID cards 6. Breakfast is served in a hall that is extremely noisy. Yep, you’ll hear all those little children very loudly. 7. Not able to put food or drinks on your room bill. Although as stated this can be a nice hotel, I certainly advise against booking here. Especially the unwillingness to improve is unacceptable.

The H10 Estepona should not be classified as a 4 star hotel, it’s far from it. The rooms are not as pictured on the website and when this was questioned upon being shown to our room, we were told ‘they’re all different’ with a very nonchalant attitude from the staff. They advertise the ocean suite with a four-post bed but the reality is a small room with two single beds pushed together. We were shown another room after complaining which was smaller than what we had so we of course didn’t want to change. The other room also didn’t have the four-post bed they advertise. The lifeguards are rude and ensure no fun is had. The entertainment team can play volleyball but as a guest you aren’t allowed to throw a pool ball around. My husband was also told he couldn’t drink water poolside, water! You can also only exchange your pool towels twice a day, if you ask for a new towel outside of those times, you can be sure you won’t get one. The all inclusive consists of a buffet, not a very good one, and a limited selection of items from the poolside restaurant, most of which are deep fried. If it’s a chicken salad or some healthier options you’re after, you’ll be paying for it in addition to your all inclusive. The gym only opens at 10am which I’ve never known in any hotel and when it is open, it’s very very basic. I must say the housekeeping staff were the friendliest staff we experienced. They always had a smile on their face & leave Lindt chocolates in the room which is a nice touch. Overall, a very disappointing experience. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone and certainly won’t be going back.

Hotel setting very nice, the pool is lovely with great views, the beach is scruffy, needs some attention. All the staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpful, they all had a smile and a greeting. The interior of the hotel was a little tired but clean. The restaurant was very noisy and very busy, not the kind of place for a relaxing meal especially in the evenings. The food is average , some hot dishes were cold with limited selection , the self service dishes became empty very quickly and were not replenished immediately so, you find yourself selecting something else that was not your first choice. The evening entertainment varied from good to not so good, it was also very loud that it became uncomfortable, we couldn’t hold a conversation and, it was impossible to get away from the noise, as it transferred into the lobby of the hotel. We enjoyed our holiday in Estepona , it is a lovely place but, we wouldn’t return to Estepona Palace hotel, we believe it’s more 3* than 4.

We had a fantastic time here! The hotel was beautiful, the staff was so warm and helpful. Our rooms were fantastic. For a family vacations we rented to regular resort rooms and one ocean view room. They were all tiled with their own private balconies and we were able to all be on the same floor. They had some type of live music every night which was fun. I can't say enough how great the staff was. We decided to go all inclusive which was the best choice for us and didn't have to worry about anyones drinks or food. If we didn't I would explore restaurants in the old town or marina or Estepona which all looked really amazing as well

The hotel is beautiful... Striking views of Gibraltar and the coast of Africa from the bar and poolside. The accommodation staff are amazingly friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble - I asked for harder pillows and they arrived within a half hour, as did water when requested. The reception staff were friendly and fluent in English as to my shame my Spanish is poor. I went off season and much to our disappointment the 'heated' pool was anything but... My little boy has braved many cold pools but just couldn't stay in this one... This spoilt the holiday in some ways as there was no point in lying around the pool. The food is very good for breakfast but not so much for lunch and dinner - this is according to my taste as many might like it - the restaurant and bar were very bright and lacking in atmosphere but the Blue team were very friendly and my son had fun despite being practically the only child there 😬 Overall, the hotel is beautiful, the room with its amazing views was lovely, shame about the pool and 'atmosphere less' bar and restaurant. The staff are fantastic and hardworking.

The hotel and resort is nicely located by the shore. The architecture and design are perfect. The service is good the menu could do with rethinking. Hygiene needs improvement. One more thing I have noticed from stuff attitude, it was the push game. Push you to eat quick buy more and..... I know everyone wants to make money but don't push. Price was higher than I expected for the quality and service. I have some pictures for you to see my experience about architecture and design and location but the service and other things you have to experience it for yourself 😉

Beds are good, pools also good a bit cold but it was October. Beach is 10 meter walk from the pool. A lot of entertainment for kids and adults all day long. Would like to have some more variation in the breakfast, everyday it was the same. There is al bar/lunch location near the pool, prices are fine. Overall good hotel with excellent service!

Beautiful hotel right on the sea front. Very spacious and modern. Very clean excellent service great restaurants and food. Rooms light and airy stunning scenery at the front of the hotel. Love the corridors with the glass windows so you can enjoy the scenery as you walk to your Room. It's a nice calm hotel not noisy. Private beach infront of the pool deck. But it's rather natural and coveted in rocks. Better beaches a short walk away but the pool deck is fantastic so you don't need to leave it. .

We have found our hotel that we will visit time and time again, one it has several life guards by the pool at all times who all have a radio, two there is an AED in reception (me and my 6 year old have a heart condition that can cause a sudden cardiac arrest), large rooms, not too many pools or too big and one of them is a bit warmer than the other one, direct access on to the beach, me being disabled I got free car parking in the underground parking which is usually €15 per day. Amazing staff and blue team (entertainment) are all friendly and took to our little boy right away. Can't wait to return.

Lovely hotel, pretty gardens and pools. Friendly staff. Great spa. Just spent Great 2 weeks there. Good walk into the old town (there and back us about 6 miles). Prom outside the Hotel doesn't go very far and that's about the only walks possible - which is not so good as far as we are concerned. On a good day you can see Gibraltar.

This was my second stay here and this time my husband and I came here with friends to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Our room was beautiful and they left us a lovely bottle of wine a chocolate cake, and also some lovely plate of ham and crackers. I just love how calm the whole place feels. This hotel is for sure my favourite place! Thank you H10 estapona!

Firstly, we booked a room with two double beds for extra space and comfort not two single beds! A huge inconvenience, however, my wife decided as our room benefited with a large private balcony and exceptional sea views we would accept the situation. Perhaps the reservations department might of been sharper, declaring our 20th wedding anniversary celebration in advance! An extraordinary basic error...... The H10 Estepona is not a 4 star hotel, certainly not in its current tired state. Our bathroom had mould on the shower and bath mastic, there were large brown hard water deposits on the bottom corner of the shower glass. Other guests in our corridor were ignoring our quiet request card on the outer door handle, both early in the morning and late at night when returning from the bar. So glad we brought our wax ear plugs! The food in our opinion was substandard, definitely not 4 star, more canteen school dinners standard, vegetables cooked to mush, etc. However, freshly cooked omelettes and fried eggs in the morning were welcome, also, some meats cooked on the grill an improvement. Although we booked all-inclusive and privilege, we found ourselves eating out most nights down in the port or in the old town. If you expect freshly made 4 star cocktails, forget it, all cocktails are premade and correspondingly taste disgusting. Our requests for a freshly made cocktails were turned down. The large outdoor pool was ridiculously cold - biting cold - the sea was much warmer! We booked the Despacio Spa deal, however, I would strongly advise not booking this before checking with the hotel first. Not all the facilities are working we found this extremely misleading. We found black slime on both air bubble recliners in the pool, absolutely disgusting, we also noticed toe plasters lying on the spa floor, not removed by the next day! The spa was not clean nor in our opinion cleaned daily. All the staff were fantastic, all had a great helpful attitude. A particular thank you to Jamie in the events team, we will miss you. Thank you for the laughs and teaching us the rules of paddle tennis. Also an amazing performance by Helen on our last night singing the Bond hits and many others, really top drawer. Thank you Helen, you made our visit memorable. Would like to give 3 stars but can only give a generous 2. We wont be returning to the H10 Estepona.

The staff are lovely at the hotel, particularly the chefs in the restaurant as well as the reception staff. The view is breathtaking from the room. It was a joy to see that every day during my stay. There is a lot of entertainment on at the hotel including live music, darts, yoga and more. However, there are birds that fly in and out of the restaurant eating the food on the buffets, which is pretty bad. I raised this with the hotel when I stayed, I have no idea if this was looked into. They must be well aware of this, as the birds have learned when the meal times are and fly in and out of the automatic doors accordingly. It's a serious hygiene issue and lets the whole thing down. Double doors would probably solve the issue in some capacity.

Have to single out Angeliqe on Reception. The girl couldn't have a more appropriate name!!🥰. I arrived at 11pm 9n a Saturday night with no booking after a very long and stressful day, which started at 6am in the mountains above Malaga. As soon as Angelique heard my plight, she magical found a room for the night for me. But could not find anything for the next 5 nights. After a sound sleep and super breaking, I presented myself at Reception to check out, Rocco was on duty and seemed to be taking some time. When I queried this, to utter amazement, she informed me that she was checking me in to another room for the next 5 nights!!!!!! She informed me that Angeliqe had spent some time during the night moving bookings in order to facilitate me!! Outstanding service as always from all the staff at the Estepona H10. 🥰😍🥰😍🥰

Lovely large and spacious hotel. Great views. Amazing pool. Perhaps just too far from town to walk in on a hot day, but scooters and taxis cover that trip nicely.

Cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Amazing from start to finish! Every member of staff we dealt with were amazing, so friendly, polite and extremely professional - we were made to feel part of this big happy family! The activities were great and we loved the entertainment staff! Missing this place already! Highly recommend!

Nice hotel. We had a privilege room on the 6th floor. Very nice view of the sea and pool. The room was suitably large, the bathroom was good with toilet and bidet. Breakfast was good with lots to choose from. Dinner was buffet with several dishes to choose from. If the price is good then we will come back for more golf. The service desk booked all golf rounds for us 🤩

This was our second time of staying at this very nice hotel , The people were lovely and the room was very clean and its in a great location for the port and town . Just a couple of things , We did feel that the main evening meal was just ok and quite basic and for that i have dropped a star, The pool was cold and one was a bit warmer . But over all a lovely place to stay . To the Owner, Management and Staff.

Stayed twice in one holiday, separated by a trip to Gibraltar. The second stay we had one of the refurbished rooms (358 if I remember correctly) and that was much better than the non refurbished room. Watch the carpark opposite, our hire car got damaged, make sure you have full cover if parking there. Easy walk to the marina for an evening meal.

We did not stay at the hotel but did stop in for a drink at the lounge. The drinks are extremely expensive which is not unexpected. The outdoor area is beautiful to sit and enjoy the surroundings. The inside is lacking in good lighting. It was very dark especially when night fell. They have a music DJ and play awful music geared for small children. Too bad because if they improved the music they might draw more business. One other thing to note, there is no table service , you need to go to the bar and get your own drinks. The hotel itself is beautiful and well situated in the Mediterranean Sea with views to Gibraltar. If needed I would stay here for sure. Just improve the lounge and music then it would be 5 stars.

Unbelievably good! My familiy and I spent almost 3 whole weeks in this hotel and we can only recommend. Everthing was perfect: the location was a dream, the staff was incredibly nice and professional. The food was delicious, always perfectly cooked and served. A huge thanks to the Chef Miguel and the waiter Francisco in Buffet restaurant, they were wonderful and offered us such a great service! We travel a lot and can say without a doubt that it was the best service we experienced so far. We will be coming back at the end of the year and recommend this hotel 100%

First time in Estepona and this hotel did not disappoint. From the staff on reception to the excellent Blue team entertainment , everyone was welcoming, efficient and nothing was too much trouble. We were there with Saga and the included trips were excellent and well organised. We enjoyed the schedule of hotel entertainment in the evenings. The saxophonist…excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the flamenco on Saturday nights. Rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean. We stayed for 3 wks and in that time had 3 rooms! The first one, overlooking the pool and sea, was great, however renovations started in the room directly above us and it became very noisy. We mentioned to our rep, Mar, who immediately organised a move to another room. We were in there a few days when after a night of torrential rain, there was a small leak in our ceiling! Once again reported and instantly resolved amid profuse apologies and we were upgraded to a fabulous room. The whole holiday was great and had been a 70th birthday treat. Thankyou for my chocolates, fruit and bubbly in the fridge! Special mention to Mar, the Saga rep, for her help in our room changes and for always being willingly available. Recommend this hotel to all, quite a walk to town, but bus stops just up the road from the hotel takes to into town for 1.50 euros each.Hotel will always organise taxis too.

We stayed in a superior room with sea view and privilege service. The room was very large and tastefully decorated. A great view over pool and out to sea. We could hear the sea in our room. Privilege service includes daily pool towel changes and twice daily room service. There is also a private bar with drinks included on price. We were on a half board basis and the food was very good, buffet each meal with plenty of choice. Meals had a canteen rather than restaurant feel but thst was to be expected. Pool area was great with a lovely pool, plenty of sun Loungers, although there is the usual reserving with towels. The location is quiet with little around. Marina is about a mile away and easily walkable. Estepona old town is definitely worth a visit but take a taxi as its a much longer walk. The hotels private beach is nice but be aware there are some rocks in the sea. Overall a fantastic hotel, lovely staff, great location and well worth staying in. We loved it.

Not a fan of eating in a "canteen" environment. Food is not inspiring although good. Most rooms face the sea and are well appointed but missing tea and coffee facilities.
