Very stylish restaurant with an imaginative menu in a stunning part of Estepona old town. The service was excellent with the young team dancing around each other like a ballet. Booking is advised.

Great quality dishes and well worth the price. The Tuna Tataki and the Langostinos Brick are the best we've had in Estepona. The Pil Pil King Prawns were a revelation and the Tortellini was excellent. The pinchos are innovative and very tasty. Great dishes with excellent service.

Best tapas in Estepona! The location is very quaint and it’s got a great vibe inside with all their extensive wines on show! There is also a courtyard and terrace out front! The tuna tataki is to die for, so fresh and s great portion size. The steak is also exceptional! Cheese, cheese and more cheese! The platter is grate (couldn’t resist) The wine list is the best in Estepona and the staff are very knowledgeable!

Fantastic food . Great service . It has a wonderful atmosphere outside and in . The tapas are perfect and delicious. Desserts are to die for .

Went for tapas and we generally liked them. Our favourite was the special of the Casa del Rey with the egg on top; then the beef with a light truffle taste; and finally the Spanish omelette as we were expecting a thicker tortilla slice with more "juice". The restaurant is very nicely located near the main historic square and the service was good. The only bit that surprised us a bit is the ordering process. We were not allowed to order food at the same time as the drinks! It had to be drinks first then food. On the down side, they were not serving fresh juices; only from the bottle/can.

Excellent seafood tapas and great main courses in one of the liveliest neighborhoods of Estepona. A very wide selection of wines, too, and they’re updating their list. Definitely needs a reservation in advance. Special kudos to our waitress, Nicole! She was always happy to help, very professional and attentive. She never lost a beat with any of our questions and provided all the info we needed with her best smile on!

Had a lunch with family. Super good and friendly, fast service with a smile. Good variety of dishes in lovely environment. Reasonable prices comparing to quality. Can easily recommend Caesar- salad with tasty, special dressing and different "pinchos". Coming back for dinner surely

We were a group of four last week in this very popular restaurant. Three of our group had Steaks prepared to perfection and one had fish that was delicious. Service prompt, wines served to perfection. My only minor criticism was that we were a party of four and we were seated in a tight corner. Having said that it was a very satisfying dining experience.

It was very nice place and royalist staffs. I was accidentally falling my gold necklace with jewellery. I was so sad and frustrated to find it everywhere and my boyfriend tried to call them. And I got a very good news for the next day that some staff keeps for me. Thankfully it’s an only one present from my father when I was 16 years old and I was thinking that I lost it forever. Beautiful restaurant Turned up on spec with eight people no problem. We were well looked after. Fantastic choice of wine and the block prawns were sensational.

Great restaurant with delicious food. Everything we ordered were good quality food, just a bit too expensive for the amount of portions. Zucchini carpaccio was pretty unique dish and surprisingly very tasty. The interior inside is very nicely decorated. The service was very fast and the waiter was helpful.

Best food we have eaten this week. All 3 courses were superb. Hadn't booked but they managed to get us in. Never had Pinchos before for starters and they were delicious, but the Pedro Ximenez fillet steak was superb. Great service and cheerful staff made this a memorable meal. Would definitely visit again when in the area.

This popular restaurant has a great selection of Spanish wines. The tapas and pinchos were excellent as well - try the pincho „especial casa del rey“.

Casa del Rey estepona , disappointed this year the menu has changed , a lot of the old favorites have been taken off the card . Had to wait for an hour for a table i suggest you book in advance . Thank you to Nicole for a kindness

Great food, excellent wine selection and fantastic service all in a lovely setting. We sat inside and actually preferred it to the terrace so don’t be put off if you can’t get a coveted terrace table!

Best place in Estepona? A must when visiting Estepona when your hungry for tapas with a great quality in a exploration style of dishes. We tried some cold and warm tapas, please se pictures. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent

We enjoyed an amazing meal here, in Estepona old town, at the recommendation of our Tui rep. Celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary. Edgar looked after us perfectly, spoke flawless English, selected delicious local wines to accompany our steaks (cooked exactly as we requested) Definitely recommend a visit...& booking a table in advance.

I'm really excited about the sweets, I forgot to take the pictures before, they were lovely and disappear very quickly!

Here they really know their wines. We ate more substantial dishes here a few years ago and were not disappointed. This rating is based upon our latest visit. We shared some small starters, and then a desert. It was all delicious, and the waiter figured out a couple of wines which went really well with the food. Highly recommended!

Great place in the heart of the Estepona. Huge range of wines to choose from, great food, staff very friendly. On the evening that we have visited there was a bit long time waiting for our main dishes - not being informed about kitchen delays until we asked the waiter. Also, little suggestion for the kitchen. The mini burgers i would prefer to have in a brioche bun rather then toasted hard-to-bite roll.

I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. I have had the privilege of dining here on many occasions, and never once had it failed to deliver. Whether tapas, or full dining, the food is superb with a VERY extensive and well priced wine selection with incredibly friendly and professional service all round but I must mention Pilar by name. Looking forward to going later in March when I visit.

Overall a very nice culinary experience. Tasty options of dishes and tapas plates. In a quiet alley that has a relaxing ambience. Service is polite.prices are reasonable
