Went with my family today and was happy to arrive before it got too busy. We ordered gambas pil pil for starters and then my son ordered a pizza 4 queso, my daughter ordered a teriyaki salmon, my wife ordered sea bass and I ordered a grilled whole squid. The ambiance was nice and in no time it was full. The gambas pil pil arrived after 20 minutes and the food after one hour and 15 minutes... The waiter apologized and offered us a drink but we refused it and asked for the food. Eventually it came and the pizza was good, salmon and sea bass were good but my squid had issues. It was not as fresh as I expected and it was not cleaned thoroughly as it should and had some ink and sand on it and it was obvious in the chewing. The price is reasonable and the waiters (2 gentlemen) were very nice, but our dinner was ruined. We paid and left as soon as we finished eating. This is lone place I will not be returning to.

Regarding my reviews on Google Maps. Since Google doesn't provide any kind of guidelines on the expectations of what a 5 star rating requires or means that makes it difficult person to person to decipher what "good" or "great" is. Let alone that one persons 3 star rating is another's 5 star experience. That being said. I eat out a lot and at some pretty nice places. I've recently decided to review each place I eat and add pictures. I will comment on the things that are important to me for a restaurant or other establishment to have a high rating. For me the following are important when rating a restaurant. 1) Cleanliness overall including the bathrooms 2) Service and staff behavior 3) Food and beverage quality 4) Prices (I do not put a lot of emphasis on price if all other aspects meet my expectations I'm willing to pay) 5) Atmosphere (this is obviously in the eye of the beholder) I hope this makes my reviews more helpful and meaningful to all users . This place is now a go to favorite for our group that visits the port of Estepona. The tapas are all great. the wine list is extensive with many great Spanish wines.

Right next to the boats in the Estapona Port. Good service and excellent seafood, which I was hoping to get before our time here was over. We'll likely make this a regular stop when we come back to Estapona.

Starters were ok, ordered the burger which came with no cheese, no sauce, medium rare meat was well done and the fries were just soft. Partner ordered sword fish which was covered in oil and had no distinct taste. Aperol coctail was nice👍🏻

Been coming here on and off for 30 years, for their excellent tapas. This week, twice, for main menu. Slow cooked ribs and lamb. Melt in the mouth, both of them. Well worth a try, if you are in the port.

If you visit Estepona and want to stay by the port for dinner then this is the only place to go. The food is fresh, modern, clean and flavourful. Our service has been great on both nights. We did look at other places on our second night but the menus, the cleanliness and energy just didn’t compare so we went back. We were recognised immediately and invited to sit down. We would come again, and again, and again. The menu is good but could definitely be improved a little, maybe some more tapas and jamon on show. The menu is great in terms of that you can go traditional or experimental but they could push that concept even a little further if they were brave enough. A little expensive but it feels like a treat and a luxury to be here, plus the good service and good food, spending a little more becomes a relatively easy decision! Great scenery and dogs welcome too.

This is a very busy Tapa and restaurant place in a great location in the port. Food is very good we usually just get tapas and beer. John Joe is our fantastic waiter he goes above and beyond to provide great service. Everyone knows him. I highly recommend you try it out. Wonderful view especially in the evening.

Good location, nice staff, but unfortunately lousy and expensive food.... The fish paella way to expensive for what you get. Spiced too much and not worth it. The ordered fish not spiced at all and dry. Wrong place to go for a nice evening . Not advised!

Nice location, and lively atmosphere which was nice. Some friendly staff, some not so much. Tried the paella, and the kids had the burger from the kids menu. The paella was runny, bland and not good at all, but was nice to look at. The kids burger was terrible, except from the fries which were ok.

It’s a good place to eat or drink something. The service could be a little better.

Nice place on harbour, very crowded so the service was quite slow. The food was great, especially the red tuna tartar.

Without doubt one of the best tapas bar in Estepona! It’s a locals and foreigners alike, favorite tapas bar in Estepona port! Great atmosphere, wonderful terrace and friendly staff! We never get tired of trying the different dishes they have to offer!
