I have been coming to this restaurant with my family for years. We hadn't been for 2 because of the pandemic. I cannot fault them in the slightest. Service, food is second to none 👌💗 fair play to the dedicated staff and owners, keep her lit!

Chanced turning up at this restaurant as we were staying close by. What a find, it’s what I class as a good old fashioned restaurant serving great food with great service. The waiters were very friendly, efficient and happy to assist in menu choices. OH chose slow cooked beef cheek and I had pork medalians with caramelised onion sauce. Both meals were beautifully cooked and were accompanied by vegetables that weren’t overcooked, we didn’t have room for dessert. But enjoyed the Rioja rosé with it. There’s plenty of choice on the menu. We’ll gladly return.

Very accommodating even though we didn't book in advance. We were 2 families with small 3 children. The food was perfect. Perfect portions and tastes very good. No wonder they have the trip advisor certificate at the front door. They have kids menu too and our kids loved the food. The service was very good and they always check if every thing is okay.

Absolutely gorgeous traditional Spanish street restaurant.. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend and revisit.

We’ve been meaning to try this restaurant for ages and glad we finally did. The service was fantastic and staff very friendly. The chateaubriand was top and the pulpo delicious. Will definitely return and recommend 🤩

Went looking for a typical spainish restaurant and found what we were looking for. Excellent prawns pil pil, leg of lamb and steak. Roberto was great. Great value and good food. We'll be back.

Quite a quaint, slightly old fashioned looking place, but the food and service was excellent. Heard about the leg of lamb and it did not disappoint. Enough for two really although I tried hard! Then a drink on the house served in a jug with the cutest shot glasses. And less than €35 with some garlic bread to start and wine! Brilliant

Always a great meal here anyway, but tonight they have surpassed themselves. The pulpo (octopus) first time I've had this in my local restaurant and hands down it is one of the best dishes I've had my whole time in spain, the smell, the texture, the taste all 100%😋😋😋😋 credit where credits due Juan it was fantastic 👏 😀

This place was recommended by a friend. Easily the best restaurant we've visited during this holiday. The staff/owners couldn't be any better, really friendly and helpful. Happy to tailor the menu. Quality of food was outstanding and the price was very fair for the standard. Will definitely visit again next time we're nearby.

Very warm and friendly welcome. Prawns and mushrooms are gorgeous! Main meal was ok. I'd go back for the starter though! (Mushrooms and prawns) the steak was a bit tough so we left that Overall, Worth a visit. 👍😁👏👏👏

Beautiful, charming Spanish Restaurant in Cancelada! We have been coming to this family run restaurant for a number of years now, and have always enjoyed excellent friendly service, and fabulous food at fantastic prices. I couldn’t recommend El Legado more highly.. Enjoy..!

Sometimes you are surprised in a very positive way. This is the case here. You can sit outside on the edge of a roundabout BUT in a charming town. Or sit inside on baroque style. The food is acceptable - no complaints - but what makes it is the service. Charming charming waiter makes it a relaxed and fun evening. The set menu is superb value I do not give 5 stars easily but this is hidden gem. Recommended.

Great food! amazing price for the set menu and we had a whole Lubina.!! The spinach starter was delicious and the cheese cake was rich and delicious. Good wine even by the glass. Friendly staff. Old world decor, elegant and peaceful. Really an enjoyable evening. Highly recommended. Inside and out.
