Unfortunately the service can be characterized as very arrogant. They do not give you a very welcome feeling. It looked as if they made a distinction between their customers (more regular ones/friends and walk-ins). The food was okay, but basic and uninteresting. As beautiful as the area that surrounds this restaurant was so bad was the experience with the restaurant itself. I can only recommend you to find another cosy pub or restaurant to enjoy a good meal after a nice saturday or sunday afternoon to end the day with a better experience.

After few hours beautiful hike in the area (highly recommended) we stopped to have a drink in Taverne Louise before continuing our walk. We were rejected, because the waitress was "too busy", even if many tables in the terrace were empty and we didn't ask for food. Most probably our backpacks were not welcomed, or at least that's the impression they gave us.
