Had a pretty good experience with the staff and service over here. Best place to visit over here with friends and family. One of the best Indian restaurants. Definitely would visit over here. I like starters here especially fresh leaf chicken and tandoori fish. Food is delicious , deserts are must try. Customer service was topnotch.

Easily one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been to in downtown (and there are very few of them!). The food and service is top notch. Abhi was our server and he took great care of us (a big party of 9), had great menu suggestions and was very attentive. The cooking team was very flexible, they whipped up an amazing Malai paneer tikka when I asked for it even though it wasn’t on the menu. They also gave us delicious veggie pakoras on the house ❤️Make sure you ask for what’s special because a bunch of tasty things are not actually on the menu. Desserts are perfect and must try the chef’s special. Everything I tried was very good. I thought the cocktail bomb jatt was a bit too sweet and not spicy enough for my liking and garlic naan was okay. Lamb Rogan Josh some pieces were very tender, others tough so hit and miss. The chicken biryani was nice but I didn’t understand shredded chicken in biryani, I would prefer with bone-in. I will definitely come back and try all other things on the menu 😊😋

Yum! Love to try Indian food everywhere we go. This is by far one of them best for several reasons. Usually when we get chicken tiki masala, it's very soupy, not a lot of meat or veggies. This was loaded and superbly seasoned. I want this place back home! In addition to that we ordered lamb biryani and garlic naan, and they were equally delicious. Definitely try this place. We will return.

Experience fine Modern Indian taste @rikki.tikki.to by Chef Ricky. 🇮🇳💙 Nestled in the vibrant heart of Kensington Market where authenticity meets innovation as Chef Ricky meticulously crafts each dish using handpicked, in-house blended spices to deliver an unparalleled burst of flavors. Our taste buds were tantalized from the start with beautifully plated appetizers like the succulent Chicken Tikka and the delectable Anarkali Bahar. But the real magic unfolded with the main course, where we were whisked away by the creamy richness of the Malai Kofta and the aromatic spice of the Hyderabad Chicken Curry, perfectly complemented by fluffy garlic naan and fragrant rice. 🥘 To quench our thirst, we indulged in refreshing mocktails, including the velvety Mango Lassi and my personal favorite, the zesty Roadside Indian Lemonade, each sip a burst of flavor and nostalgia. 🍹 And just when we thought our culinary adventure couldn't get any better, we were treated to a sweet finale with the visually stunning Malai Kulfi, a perfect harmony of creaminess and sweetness that left us craving for more. 🍨 @rikki.tikki.to Chef Ricky has truly redefined the essence of Indian cuisine, inviting diners to savor not just a meal, but a symphony of flavors and memories. It's an experience that will linger on your palate long after the last bite.

I stumbled upon this restaurant while searching for a good Indian cuisine and it’s found to be great one. This time we have tried just snacks and mocktails and they were delicious. I hope I will try the main course next time but overall was just fantastic.

Absolutely amazing food..every dish had authentic flavours and good portion sizes. We tried the lamb biryani, butter paneer, potato and onion kulcha and on the server's recommendation the Rabdi for dessert. Loved everything I had including the soft light kulchas ! Our server Naman was amazing..very knowledgeable on the food and very sweet. You could see that she was very proud of the food and it's high quality and flavours. Hats off to the chef! I would definitely recommend this place for down to earth traditional food and great service! Very reasonable prices was the cherry on top!

Rikki Tikki is a popular Indian restaurant in the heart of Kensington. We visited one weekday evening for dinner and the place was packed much to our surprise. We were seated almost immediately and the service was attentive, warm and friendly. We tried a host of things from their menu. The Mango Delight mocktail was a refreshing drink reminded me of a mango drink I grew up drinking in India. The Coconut on the Beach rum based cocktail was another fun drink that instantly transports one to a tropical beach! For appetizers we tried the Mix Veg Platter and the Chilli Shrimp the former being my pick. Jumbo shrimp batter fried and coated in a sweet spicy sauce – absolutely delicious! We tried the Hyderabadi lamb curry and Paneer Kadhai for mains with naan. The Veg Biryani was studded with pomegranate, dry fruits and was an absolute delight to savour! End your meal with the Rikki Special Kulfi – india’s version of ice cream which I got to relish after ages and was such a treat. Do not miss out on the desserts! Our meal at Rikki Tikki was comforting Indian fare with modern plating and great service! I would definitely return. Special thanks to Prableen for her service

Holy moly this place was FANTASTIC. My mouth is watering just thinking about our meal. Starting off with drinks, I had the mango mock tail which was sweet and delicious. We then had the veggie samosa appetizer and I almost cried it was SO GOOD (forgot to take a photo but TRUST ME). The sauces are spectacular. For entrees we had the butter chicken — TENDERER CHICKEN HAS NEVER EXISTED FOLKS. SO GOOD. 😭 — lamb vindaloo and the shrimp biryani. It’s a ton of food so you can totally share. God bless

4.5*! We decided to have Indian food with friends last night! We ordered 4 curries , a bowl of rice and garlic butter naan. There was complimentary papadum to start. I love papadum! Garlic butter naan was exceptional. The portion sizes were not huge so between the 4 of us we ordered 4 orders of naan and a rice. It was just right. The rice portion was big enough for 2. Its about the size of a cereal bowl and the pomegranate seeds in it was a nice touch. We ordered saag paneer, goan fish curry, lamb vindaloo and cashew chicken. My favorite were the cashew chicken with its creamy sauce, perfect for dipping ur naan and eating with rice. I also loved the goan fish curry. The fish was melt in your mouth and the gravy was rich and delicious. This was my first time eating saag paneer which was more sweet than savoury. It even had blueberries as a garnish. Personally i prefer a more savoury saag paneer. The paneer was exceptionally soft. I ordered the lamb vindaloo and i was warned it was spicy. I personally love spice however, the lamb vindaloo was knock your socks off spicy. I was not expecting that but still delicious. I had to shy away from the gravy. Mango lassi was slightly tart, creamy and had a strong mango flavour. I personally would have liked it colder. The service was stellar. Our server was so so so friendly and sincere. She was all smiles and authentic. I wish I had gotten her name to thank her here. The ambiance was not bad. Big tables enough for all the curries and breads and rice and drinks and nice wooden tables. The music was a tad loud but I guess its Kensington? Their outdoor patio is open! The bathrooms are clean and bright with beautiful wall paper and plenty of soap.

Despite having eaten a lot of Indian food in my life in Vancouver, BC and neighboring cities, I have never had such good Indian food until now. I ordered the Aloo Tikki (crisp and delicious spices, with mangoes, red onion, pomegranate and lemon slice), Baignan Bharta (my favourite Indian dish. One perfect cherry was in the centre), Garlic Naan ( beautifully crisp and flavoured), Jeera rice (first time and Wow). Washed it down with a beer and leftovers for another two meals. First time in Toronto and I would come back to Rikki Tikki in a heartbeat. Recommended to me by a food delivery driver Aman.

The food was amazing! The tikki, pakodas were so crisp and the presentation was spectacular. Suggestion from an Indian: If you have to try one Indian restaurant in Toronto, it should be Rikki Tikki. Every dish that we tried was delicious. 10/10 on quality, service and value for price!

So today I visited this famous restaurant. About this restaurant the service was really good, even the ambience of the restaurant was so calm and good. Staff was really friendly. Naman and Abhishek was there who served us. One of the exiting or the MVP of the restaurant is there Presentation of the food, which is really good. Here we ordered Kadai Paneer, chicken tikka, Garlic naan and Gulab Jamun. Everything was really good. Must try place in Downtown Toronto.

My spouse and I stopped here during our October trip and were blown away by how great the food was. We are from the Chicago area, which itself has amazing food, but we both agreed that the best saag paneer we've ever had was here. If we ever visit Toronto again, this will be a must stop.

What a sweet little restaurant. Definitely wasn’t expecting this, hungry at 12am. It was way better than I expected. It’s a cozy little place, family owned and people working here made us feel like we were guests in their home. Especially Rashi and Abhishek. Food is flavourful, naan melted in our mouth. To top it off they gave us a handmade card for Diwali. I will definitely be coming back. Truly awesome!

Its an indian resturant. If you need more vegan option you can surely visit here. They have menue full of appetizers, main course and desserts. Some names of dishes can be misleading. For example we wanted to order aloo tikki but we were informed that its more of a kabab than a full sized indian aloo tikki. We ordered samosa chaat which was really delucious, cheese fries and gobi manchurian. Staff was polite and professional. Restroom is also super duper clean.

Having dinner night over here was really a delight. Frankly we were not expecting much but liked the ambiance of the restaurant so we just went there but when we ordered food, we were sooo surprised it was really tasty. Everything we had there was remarkable. Even the staff was very nice, they specifically made the drink as we wanted it to be. MUST VISIT PLACE. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Seriously some of the best food I've ever eaten, let alone Indian food. We got the Lamb Tiki Masala, Gobi Manchurian, garlic naan, and mango lassi. All were incredible. Service was attentive and nice. Restaurant was decorated nicely and sparklingly clean. Prices were great!

My wife and I ate here while looking for food on a very late night when we arrived in Toronto and this was the perfect spot! The food was pretty good, and beautifully presented. But what REALLY makes us want to go back was our amazing waitress Rushmi! I don’t usually write reviews but I just had to come on here and sing her praises. She was so sweet, attentive and welcoming in her energy! We asked a bunch of questions about the menu and she explained them so well and picked up on my personal indecisiveness and went the extra mile to ask me questions and recommend different dishes just from us telling her what flavors we were feeling for! Overall a 10/10 experience. Will definitely come back to try more, and request Rushmi! :)

Superb food! - Please come to Rikki Tikki and share my very same thoughts. The staff is amazing and always looking after your needs. All you do is tell them what you want. The food is exquisite, and what we ate was not spicy. I shared the food with my wife, so it needs to be this way 😍 ... Do you want spicy? ... no problem, lots of wonderful dishes to choose from. Inside it looks great!... Lots of sitting, by the wall and the bar and by the entrance as well. As well, 2 washrooms. All inside looks pretty, and the food is Awesome 👌 🥗 😋 ... Worth every penny 💰 Thank you, Rikki Tikki staff namaste
