I had an amazing coffee with delicious oat milk and raspberry beignet! The atmosphere was great with loads of fresh flowers and interesting menu options (eg. blue matcha, coffee with mushroom (Rainbo boost) extract). I was helped by the owner who is very friendly and knowledgeable about coffee as barista with over 5+ years of experience.

My mocha was lacking coffee taste but overall delicious. Donuts were good too. Not amazing food and drinks but i would go any time for the vibe and atmosphere. Nothing disappointing 👍🏼

Bright, comfy spot with not a ton of seating but it seems like most people get their orders to go. My matcha latte was decent, a little on the smaller side. Friendly service!

Lovely coffee shop! I stumbled upon this cafe on my way home from work and I think I’ve found a new favourite! It’s bright, modern yet homey; a perfect place to enjoy reading a book while I drink matcha and eat a croissant ☺️ The owner, Francesco was extremely welcoming towards me and my friends upon entering! He was enthusiastic about the menu and proud to support local businesses on his shelves I will definitely be a returning customer 😋 looking forward to trying the other items on the menu!!

Great spot to grab a coffee and pastry. Had a custard beignet paired with an espresso; both were delicious. The music selection was excellent and the atmosphere was very open and spacious. The service was great and I’ll definitely be back to try the other drinks on the menu. Highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area!

Love this place! The snacks are delicious, got an ham and cheese croissant, and a custard filled bignè, simply amazing ✨.🌞 The coffee is one of the best in TO. The owner was super attentive and very friendly. Highly recommend. Be back for sure!

We visited today and were very impressed. We didn’t know what to get and got great recommendations from the owner. He was so patient and kind. At starbucks you feel like a number, but here it’s the total opposite, treated so well. We ordered a chai tea latte, Annex refresher, and a chocolate almond croissant. This place is the bomb.

Espresso at this place is probably my favorite so far in downtown Toronto. I usually don't order espresso in the city due to the dull taste and high prices, so I was pleasantly surprised to find a good one here! The place has a warm and cozy ambiance. The staff is friendly as well. I'll definitely visit again to enjoy their espresso and try other items on the menu.

Annex Espresso Bar is my new favourite place! I counted down the days for when it would open back in March and I can say I've been there every week since. The coffee and pastries are amazing!! The friendliness of Francesco, the owner, and his family who supports him are second to none! I've enjoyed every visit and will continue to support this local hidden gem that is steps away from my home. If you haven't visited Annex Espresso Bar yet, you're definitely missing out!

Amazing coffee! I’m passionate about coffee and have been to many Toronto coffee shops. So here is really a very good coffee! And I like its perfect strength. I also really liked the pastries - delicious and fresh. Wonderful vibe inside and cool music:)

I tried the cafe leccese, the limone refresher, and the crema cafe - all of them were PHENOMENAL. Gorgeous location, great service, and refreshing drinks. Best espresso I’ve had in the city yet, you have to give it a try! 11/10

I've been here a few times since they've opened. They have a clean, and put together vibe which I appreciate. Coffee is actually good, and they carry a variety of other products as well. Pastries are fresh and delicious.
