Got my hair done twice and both times were a great experience. The staff members were very friendly and the stylist who did my hair, Feroza, did a fantastic job on my hair. Their prices are also very reasonable!

I’ve been going to Voila for 10+ years now and have had nothing short of amazing experiences each and every time from excellent cuts to the best colour jobs, however my recent experience has turned me completely off from going back. I wanted to get my hair trimmed and coloured for an upcoming event and I’m just shattered at the outcome of my appointment yesterday. I had asked to have 4 inches cut off, with lots of layers, face framing and a bit more volume at the top and a soft V shape at the back - pretty standard stuff and a hair cut I’ve been getting for years. I had also showed them an inspiration photo of the colour I was looking to achieve and how it should look. The girl who cut my hair ended up taking off nearly 7 inches giving me a very strange mid length bob almost. After going home and taking pictures from all angles I can see that the back is almost cut to a straight hard line which I can also make out from the front. The highlights (or whatever you would call these) also have hard lines at the top of each one so you can see exactly where and how they start like the boxy shape of a rectangle. And last the colour job is so terrible, I have 10 different shades of yellow (yes yellow not blonde) and a brassy brown that is no where close to the inspiration photo. I understand it’s difficult to get close to inspo photos but I would have been happy if the idea of it was there. On top of this the teacher had the audacity to say it’s my fault because I wanted layers and a soft V when there weren’t any layers even in my hair. The longest layer is about a centimetre from the base length of my hair all around giving my hair the appearance of a bottom heavy triangle. And after having this hair cut for years I understand what it’s supposed to look like. I cannot begin to describe how absolutely BUTCHERED my hair is and will most likely have to get it dyed black before my event and throw it into a bun because of how awkwardly shaped it is. Overall, disappointed would be an understatement. Please do not put staff on the floor to handle appointments on their own when they are not ready

Last minute appointment for both of us. Ashlyn and Olivia each gave great haircuts and the teacher checked each of us. She suggested eyebrow trim and beard trim for hubby and proceeded to train as she did it. For mine, teacher suggested a product be used on my hair. My stylist asked me if that was OK before using it. Overall great service and have already booked my next appointment. Thanks so much!

I used to enjoy getting my hair done here. But recently have had bad experiences. A teacher cut my hair and it totally looks butchered and awful. Called to see if they could fix it and was told they would call me back… never heard anything back from them. Don’t think I will be returning.

I love this salon and I will definitely come back. My positive experience started from the receptionist; she was very friendly and welcoming. Booking an appointment was very smooth and I was lucky to have an appointment on the same day ! My hair stylist was one of the student, Laura, a very professional, talented and friendly young lady. She took an excellent care of my thin tired hair, and at the end I had the most wonderful highlights with a pretty hair cut! I was also taken care of by their amazing expert teacher, she was keeping an eye on her students and she gave me the perfect advice. All in a very affordable price ! I believe that students do a perfect work, because they put all of their effort and focus, and they really do their best to succeed in the eyes of their client. Thank you Laura and thanks to your Teacher.

absolutely unacceptable! Took my mother in for a hair appointment at the door realized it’s NOT a disability accessible! NO ramp to get my 90 year old mother’s Walker in! Stairs in front of the salon off the busy street not even accessible from the a back door! Asked to speak to the manager Lou .. she comes out extremely defensive, didn’t say sorry and wasn't sympathetic at all! She basically said go to another salon and that she didn’t have to make her salon that she advertised specifically pro Seniors disability friendly and inclusive!! NOT coming back here .. Though I wish to say this that the staff were absolutely wonderful ie; Suhair and Dianna and the girls at front desk. After all , they made my 90 year old Mother’s Day by making her look very beautiful ..

Great service, especially for the price! A student was in charge of the haircut - got a standard bob with layers and he did a great job! A well done cut, and it all came out to around 25 total which is an amazing price.

Absolutely wonderful service - I showed them a picture of what I wanted and they made it happen! I had a 'wet balayage' with a natural finish and a layered cut done. Mariana was thoughtful, skilled and detail-oriented in her work, and her teacher Diane was lovely and very knowledgeable. Definitely recommend :)

I recently had the pleasure of getting my hair done by Sara, and I couldn't be happier with the results! She took the time to listen to my concerns and preferences, and offered great suggestions that I hadn't even considered. She was incredibly skilled and knowledgeable, and it showed in the way she transformed my hair. Not only did she exceed my expectations, but she also made the experience enjoyable with her friendly and personable demeanor. I highly recommend Sara to anyone looking for a talented and professional hairstylist. Thank you so much for the amazing service!"
