😠 I had a very odd experience compared to other reviews. I don’t know if these guys were working overtime or not compensated for their family day work. But there was something in the air. I had a very odd experience compared to other reviews. I don’t know if these guys were working overtime or not compensated for their family day work. But there was something in the air. Everyone was unpleasant and angry even with simple questions such as “Is it ok to sit here?” Or exchanging pleasantries such as “thank you”. Me and my friends did not argue or discuss. But the employees here made us feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable. They also seemed very upset when we asked for our ordered Turkish tea (which was not served till later in the meal after asking for it). The food was tasty I cannot deny. But the service made this experience very unpleasant and I would not come back. This place can do a lot better in terms of improving the guest experience, the food and Turkish bagel were good.

By far the best coffee (cortado) we had in Toronto. Excellent breakfast sandwich - everything you need. The vegetarian option, the Turkish bagle, is in no way inferior. Bravissima, ladies! Keep up the good work and shine your light. All the best to you.

Matcha latte was pretty good but the ambiance was not my favourite. The music was too loud for a coffee shop, the tables needed cleaning, and one employee was talking loudly on the phone in the seating area for quite a while. Might revisit in the summer as their patio looked nice, but the atmosphere indoors definitely left something to be desired.

A lovely cafe in Kensington market. I swear half my pay check goes to these guys. Don’t go to those chains and companies with faceless CEOs. The Owners and staff here are super friendly and I love supporting small businesses and being able to see the faces of the people who I’m gladly giving my money to. Whether I’m looking to get my caffeine fix, or a box of macarons for a gift, this place always outdoes itself. Not to mention their Turkish brunch options are to die for ! They’re a staple in the Kensington and Turkish community, doing initiatives like partnering with other businesses to fundraise for the earthquake in Turkey that happened earlier this year. Been a regular for almost a year and always treated with friendly, fast service each time. There’s a reason why they have many many regulars like myself always coming back here. These people will always be getting mine and my friends business!

Food was a bit cold, but nice. We ordered the Turkish breakfast and toast with salmon. I recommend giving it a try, it was nice

Went to Pera today because it was a nice day out and it's been on my go-to list for a long time. It was worth the wait! I ordered a matcha latte and breakfast sandwich, and although my ticket got lost in the shuffle, eventually my food and drink made its way to me. The place is inviting, and there's seating inside and covered seating outside. When they realized they lost my ticket, they were very apologetic and brought a cookie as penance. Both the sandwich and the cookie were delicious. Would come here again!

The culinary experience was superb, complemented by a pleasing ambiance. The establishment exuded cleanliness and charm, fostering a serene dining atmosphere enhanced by subtle background music. Two out of the three dishes I sampled were exceptional, further adding to the overall satisfaction of the visit.

I came by for the first time today. I had the turkey sandwich, Turkish tea, and a slice of cheesecake. The sandwich was delicious. The tea was superb. And I devoured the cheesecake. I think it was their Spanish cheesecake--very very creamy. It was recommended by the owner, who was lovely. Will never go to cheesecake factory ever again. Heard great things about the creme brulee cheesecake--will need to try this next time. This is my new favourite cafe! Staff was very friendly, certainly a welcoming atmosphere. The washroom was clean. I highly recommend checking them out!

I had a latte and the smoked salmon toast breakfast platter. The food was incredible, and the servers were very friendly. I definitely recommend stopping by here if you are in Kensington!

There's good option for breakfast, really amazing toasts, but the service is bad. I came with a friend for the first time and the attendant was in a bad mood, the service was slow and she was very rude.
