Great coffee. I've had the espresso and the Japanese cold brew. Pastries are excellent, fresh each day and from an excellent french bakery. Also tried their organic eggs which had great flavor and colorful shells as a bonus. Haven't tried their home made sauces, yet. Interior is very tastefully decorated. All in all, an excellent addition to the neighborhood. Owners are very friendly too.

St. John’s Pantry has the best espresso I have tasted. Friendly owners who deeply care about the people in their community. I order an espresso every time I visit. Based on the other reviews I will definitely try one of their pastries. Support your local small business.

Nestled in the northwest part of Runnymede-Bloor West Village, St. Johns Pantry stands unassumingly kitty-corner to King George Junior Public School. Coffee there is wonderful (they make a great flat white), and the baked goods are delicious (there is a great variety). There are some fridges and shelves with various food and beverage items that are available for purchase to take home. There are a few seats to sit (the capacity is not very large) - but everything is cozy and comfortable. The proprietor is very friendly and efficient, and has made this establishment a very warm place to visit.

Great neighbourhood coffee shop! Coffee was fantastic, & the cinnamon bun was the best I’ve had. Will definitely be back.

You just Have to try their - Kouing-amman! Its worth going out of your way to visit. Very homey atmosphere and great books to flip through. And they are the only coffee shop that measure the temperature of milk during frothing!!!

St. John's Pantry is a great staple in the neighbourhood! They have an excellent assortment of baked goods including muffins, scones, croissants, cookies and more. I like drinking their lattes and my son enjoys their lemonade and hot apple cider. I often get their Feast salads for a quick/easy lunch. The lovely owner, Renata, has added indoor seating which is a very welcome addition when you feel like hanging out for a bit!

Wonderful little cafe, with delicious coffee and pastries! More of a grab-and-go place as there are no tables to sit at, but don't let that deter you from trying out their cortado (for example) which was excellent.

I was so happy to see this small cafe open up in the same storefront as a beloved variety store that had been in business for decades. I finally stopped in today for a look and picked up two almond croissants. Delicious! I will try to wake up earlier on the weekend so I can grab an espresso or latte. The space looks great with indoor and outdoor seating and a nice neighbourhood vibe!

So many times we have been thankful that this place exists in our community! You can find movie night treats, last minute meals, pastry treats, and the best oat milk latte here! The kids have been loving using their change towards popsicles and candy.

Great little neighbourhood cafe; there's a couple seats inside, and wifi if needed. Food and coffee were fantastic, and the ambience was great! Prices were accessible as well, and there are several milk options, 1 fresh vegan baked good option (which was delicious), and several gluten free baked goods! Also loved the shelves and freezers full of locally sourced/artisanal pantry items. My favorite part is that there's obviously been effort put into making the space welcoming to children; the whole bottom shelf for shelf-stable stuff was candy, ranging from $0.25 to about $3! They're super close to schools, so this really made me smile.

Nice neighbourhood spot, originally went in for a coffee but they actually had a lot more items than I would have thought, even picked up a couple of frozen liberetto pizzas.

👍👍 Visited here a few years ago. And recently back to have breakfast again! It is a lovely space filled with nostalgia of old-school deli and restaurants. They have a large indoor dining room, and outdoor patio. Located in the heart of downtown Toronto, they are situated on the very busy University Ave...
