I
was
wandering
the
streets
of
Corso
Italia
for
some
breakfast
and
coffee.
Coming
from
Mexico
recently,
I
was
in
the
mood
for
some
good
coffee.
Luckily,
I
saw
the
sign
for
Lion
Coffee
and
had
never
seen
this
place
before.
First
impression?
That's
cool,
it's
just
hidden
enough
that
you
feel
like
you've
discovered
a
little
gem.
But
it's
just
close
enough
to
the
main
road
that
you
can
still
see
if
it's
too
busy
inside
before
getting
to
it.
It
was
just
the
right
amount
of
busy
to
give
me
the
confidence
to
walk
in
and
walk
out
in
case
it
wasn't
the
vibe.
I
look
at
the
menu,
it's
simple.
Just
how
I
like
things,
especially
this
early
in
the
morning.
The
barista,
Mitch,
was
nice
enough
to
acknowledge
me
and
give
me
the
time
I
needed
to
make
a
decision.
Actually,
I
didn't
make
a
decision
right
away,
because
I'm
new
to
the
coffee
universe
or
at
least
an
amateur,
I
had
to
ask
for
some
help
differentiating
slow
drip
vs.
pour
overs.
Anyway,
he
gave
me
information,
and
then
gave
me
some
simple
context
for
the
various
pour
over
roasts
that
he
had.
I
selected
Gesha
which
he
explained
had
notes
of
pineapple.
He
was
right.
Coffee
was
very
good,
and
very
clean,
(no
grains
at
all!).
I'm
glad
I
stepped
into
this
shop
today
and
will
definitely
be
back
for
more.
P.s.
The
classic
512
sandwhich
was
perfect.
An
idea?
If
someone
wants
it
grilled,
you
should
ask
them
if
they
want
it
on
the
tracks.
