I had the most delicious vanilla latte, and a succulent sandwich. My 3 yo had an iced chocolate milk drink and loved it. The decor is super cute, the coffee is tasty and reasonably priced, but most importantly, the service is excellent. Super friendly people. Highly recommend this place.

Superb coffee shop! The iced latte and cookie I had were excellent! The barista was very friendly. The place had limited seating, but the store is quite cozy. The cafe is a bit hidden, as it's just off of St.Clair. Highly recommend!

Walked into this sign so I decided to give the place a shot. I already had a coffee but was in the mood for a treat. Freshly baked croissants just came out so I had to try one. Ordered the cheese croissant for 4.25. Delicious. One of the best croissants I've had. Friendly service. Lots of locals enjoying the coffee. Customers had told me next time try their coffee. It's also delicious. Definitely will be back.

Nestled on a quiet corner just off the main intersection of Dufferin and St. Clair W, you will find the cozy and warm Lion Coffee! Lion Coffee offers a variety of classic coffee and beverage options with some quick bites as well! My go to order is the hot chai latte, and I am not exaggerating when I say its the best chai I have ever had! The chai concentrate is made in house and it is a perfect blend of sweetness and spice that exudes authentic flavours. Their signature sandwiches, the Spinach Fetty and 512 Classic are delicious, I really can't get enough. Outdoor and indoor seating make this a great place to get lost in some work or a novel for a couple of hours while enjoying a beverage of your liking. Hazel and Mitch are truly devoted to their craft, you can taste the love and passion that goes into every cup! I cannot recommend Lion Coffee highly enough!

This is my favourite cafe that I have been to so far in the city. Not only for the food, sweets and delicious coffee, but for the incredible hospitality. The owners clearly love their business and truly value their patrons. I definitely recommend this cafe if you're around st Clair w or simply want a nice atmosphere for a coffee. 100/10

I was wandering the streets of Corso Italia for some breakfast and coffee. Coming from Mexico recently, I was in the mood for some good coffee. Luckily, I saw the sign for Lion Coffee and had never seen this place before. First impression? That's cool, it's just hidden enough that you feel like you've discovered a little gem. But it's just close enough to the main road that you can still see if it's too busy inside before getting to it. It was just the right amount of busy to give me the confidence to walk in and walk out in case it wasn't the vibe. I look at the menu, it's simple. Just how I like things, especially this early in the morning. The barista, Mitch, was nice enough to acknowledge me and give me the time I needed to make a decision. Actually, I didn't make a decision right away, because I'm new to the coffee universe or at least an amateur, I had to ask for some help differentiating slow drip vs. pour overs. Anyway, he gave me information, and then gave me some simple context for the various pour over roasts that he had. I selected Gesha which he explained had notes of pineapple. He was right. Coffee was very good, and very clean, (no grains at all!). I'm glad I stepped into this shop today and will definitely be back for more. P.s. The classic 512 sandwhich was perfect. An idea? If someone wants it grilled, you should ask them if they want it on the tracks.

This spot is AWESOME. Good vibes, great people, delicious coffees (honestly, they are dialed in to perfection - so tasty), and they also have an incredibly crushable sandwich 👌

👍👍 Visited here a few years ago. And recently back to have breakfast again! It is a lovely space filled with nostalgia of old-school deli and restaurants. They have a large indoor dining room, and outdoor patio. Located in the heart of downtown Toronto, they are situated on the very busy University Ave...
