This hidden Gem 💎 on Eglinton West in Toronto is 💯 % a must! When you enter the restaurant diner, that was converted from a video / variety store, you’re greeted by the gracious owner Steve and his amazing staff! After reading the reviews on the internet we decided that we must try the “all day” breakfast which was amazing. Also had the authentic Greek salad that was outstanding, along with the feta cheese and olives! Even if you’re not from the area, it’s worth the drive. You get large portions at unbelievable prices. You won’t be disappointed! Guaranteed! Next time we’ll definitely try the chocolate pancakes or steak n eggs or clubhouse that also looked amazing! 😋 We’ll see you again soon Steve! Regards Scott ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Delicious food, big portions, and VERY affordable. The staff are so friendly and the owner is just lovely - very generous and funny. We told him it was our first time visiting and he gave us each a little cup of ice cream for free! The place has a great old-fashioned diner vibe, with vintage posters on the walls and red stools. There's also an ice cream counter and convenience store. This is definitely our new spot!

Video and variety store turned brunch destination! We went for brunch on Christmas Day and got a booth for 4 immediately. The server was friendly and cheerful, and everyone wore Christmas-themed hats! We had the $10.99 big grill breakfast, $13.99 steak and eggs, and $10.99 spinach and feta omelette. The food was decent all-around with nothing really standing out. The bacon was pleasantly crispy and not to the point of being crunchy, and was a bit on the greasier side but tasted good. The ham had a pleasant amount of saltiness. The sausages were cooked well with a crispy surface. The eggs were pretty typical. The home fries weren't bad, but I prefer smaller chunks and more seasoning. I was told the steaks were well cooked and had a nice texture and taste. The main selling point of this brunch spot is that it has incredible value and great people. If you want a no-frills brunch at an exceptionally low price, look no further. The people there are friendly and hard-working. The owner stopped by to ask how everything was, and we had a nice chat with him. We'll return if we're around the area for brunch again!

Nice cozy old-school/vintage vibe with great brunch options and fantastic service. Elaine (I may have spelled her name wrong) provided excellent service, with a bright wide smile and a friendly, helpful attitude, running around assisting customers and taking care of her duties. The guy at the front (the owner, I presume?) was very friendly and a pleasure to interact with too. Definitely coming back for more. (Pictured: Sizzler Omelette, Chocolate Dream Pancakes, coffee)

Me and my girlfriend went there for breakfast a couple times and Steve is just such an incredible host. Food is good, cheap and comes in huge portions, and the treat after our meal was really nice and tasted great. Definitely a new usual spot.

Loved it here! From Vancouver and needed a quick stop for breakfast, so glad I chose egglinton grill. The owner Steve was very friendly and passionate, the atmosphere was amazing: retro but authentic. I loved it! There was also a birthday and the whole diner started singing it was adorable. :)))

What a gem this place is. We came in to get some takeout breakfast and the man who greeted us is so welcoming. We got the classic breakfast and the eggs Benny and WOW! 1st off the food was cooked perfect and tasted amazing. 2nd you don’t feel like your getting ripped off with the prices. They get it..price fairly and people will return. Lastly the portions are on the bigger side. We really enjoyed this place and will be going back.

I have been coming here for a few years now, mostly for breakfast. The food here is great value and Steve, the owner, really works to make sure guests are satisfied and well-served. I often order the Big Grill Breakfast, which has 4 eggs, bacon, sausage ham, home fries/french fries and 2 pancakes. It's far and away one of the best value meals here (it will fill you up for 2 meals!). Eggs over-easy are cooked perfectly and the pancakes are big and fluffy. I recently had lunch here for the first time and tried the 9 oz. Hercules burger. Their burgers are home-made and taste delicious. Steve has a coffee bar set-up where you have your choice of several different coffee brews/flavours. Always a pleasant experience coming here.

The owner Steve really cares about his customers, great atmosphere and amazing service. The food was fantastic and was the best price I've seen in the city. If you haven't been you're missing out on one of the best breakfast spots in Toronto!

Hands down best breakfast spot I’ve ever been to. Restaurant is clean and cozy, great classic diner vibes. It apparently is a converted video store made breakfast spot, and still has some of the original fixtures which gives it a unique appearance. Service is quick and friendly, the coffee and food are both cheap and delicious. On average the prices are at least $10 cheaper than most breakfast places nowadays. Owner Steve is insanely nice and had a good chat with us after our meal. Would highly recommend this place and will be going back ASAP!
