Fantastic stay. From the phone agent to the receptionist to the buffet waitstaff to the shuttle driver, it was a great experience. Arriving so late, I was weary that it would be an irritable experience however nothing of the sorts. Everyone was pleasant despite it being close to 2AM. I even got an upgraded king suite room, which was very nice. The buffet was tasty and the egg omelette was actually not runny, so perfect for me. The shuttle was prompt and timely. I would stay again, 100%, and am recommending to everyone I know.

I have stayed many times. Had a room reserved tonight but they had no parking as they oversold to people who use the long term airport parking. They were not willing to offer anything. At minimum they could have reimbursed the costs to park next door. I cancelled and am staying down the street with lots of parking and a cheaper rate. Get your act together. You lost a loyal customer over this. Update The response provided is not accurate. I was not offered anything other then paying for parking at my own cost at the hotel next door. Nor was there any mention of a shuttle. Take responsibility instead of trying to make it look like you made an effort to solve the issue. You guys messed up so just own it.

The staff were very friendly. This was not our first time staying at the Hilton Homewood. However, if you're looking forward to a quiet place to go and unwind this New Year 2024, this is NOT the place you are looking for!! It's nice that our government has somewhere for some of the refugees, truly. đź‘ŤBut when other people are paying top dollar to be there it would be nice to know the hotel is extra busy with live in semi-permanent guests. There were unsupervised children in pajamas running around everywhere, at all hours. In the elevators, in the "media room", and the lounge was always busy. This was not our wind down "staycation" after the holiday's, this was expensive and stressful. My husband works from home, getting anything done in this hotel is impossible as there is no where other than your room for peace and quiet. Unfortunately this was not the best experience, we will be looking at Newer places, as opposed to going back to somewhere familiar. It's too bad. But never again. We all left more tired than upon arrival.

Its one of the best locations with amazing room spaces with kitchen. With kids and family its perfect. Surrounding area full of amazing restaurants. Breakfast was good enough. Pool was also not bad.

The hotel has lots of long term guests that have a solid understanding of the breakfast area. Be prepared to go without some of the more popular items as they dissappear as soon as they are brought out.

A very good place to stay. Staff great and would help with any little detail. Kaleb was fantastic and it was a delight to see his smiley face and pleasant manner every day. The suite we had was just right for our party of 3. The hob rings in the kitchen were very basic and it took ages to boil water. We asked at reception if we could have an electric kettle, and within a few minutes one was delivered to our room, great service! The breakfast was quite good with a fair choice available. There is a swimming pool which we used once and was not busy and the opening times were very long. There is also a Gym but we did not use this. We hired a car and we found parking was not a problem. We would recommend this as a good place to stay. There is also a free shuttle to and from the hotel to the airport which can be arranged at reception.

Michael updated the 1 bedroom suite to 2 bedroom suite with a king bed and a queen bed and no extra charge for that! What a big surprise! And it’s the best welcome for my dad after a long time flight to Canada. The breakfast is also awesome! Recommend the hotel to everyone!

Really nice welcoming place, friendly staff, really lovely service! Stayed for 3 nights in king size room, comfortable bed, had my own kitchen area with large fridge and dishwasher! Theres was cutlery, saucepans and plates available in the cupboard. Ironing board/ iron and hairdryer included in the room. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of options! Gym and pool facility available- i used the pool, clean with towels available (only negative; not keen on people from outside able to look in as windows were the view of the entrance where people come in). But otherwise enjoyed my swim! For the price and service would return and recommend to others!!

To be honest this was a very nice hotel, beautiful pool..[ a little small] but good, the rooms were really nice, big for 5-6 people, clean bathroom. The only bad thing was when we opened the sofa bed there was like crums or..something I'm not sure If they cleaned it or left it. But I give 3 stars 🌟 amazing place.

My family and I personally had a fabulous time at this hotel while visiting Toronto. We stayed for 10 days. Our room was very spacious with a stove, full size fridge and also a dishwasher. Their staff were very friendly, courteous and accommodating. Parking was never a problem for us on any day even when we usually returned to our hotel past 10pm or even later. Being located minutes from the airport is a plus we found the location to be very central from getting to all of the main tourist destinations. Large fitness gym was good. The only thing missing that would have made it perfect was we wished the pool was a little bigger and if it also could have had a hot tub.

An amazing experience! Huge clean suites and all of the staff but especially Roberto at reception is a fantastic employee. Friendly and made special welcome birthday bags for our daughter. We will be back!

Enjoyed my stay immensely. We had a rough day travelling and the staff were welcoming and so very friendly. The room was immaculate and comfortable. Best hotel towels, ever! (imo) I will definitely recommend and be returning the next time I fly out of Pearson.

Run-down hotel right on the highway. The studios are nice in themselves, but are getting old. They include a bedroom, a bathroom with a bathtub, a living area with a desk and sofa, and a kitchen with a stove, microwave and refrigerator. There is also a grill downstairs next to the lobby for roasting meat or vegetables. The fitness offers some cardio equipment, such as free weights. Unfortunately, the pool is only shallow, so you can't really swim in it. The room cards stop working every two days and the problem cannot be solved. There is a Walmart right next to it, which is very clever.

This is a Home away from home ! I’ve stayed her too many times and have absolutely loved the location, amenities, staff and food. Available airport shuttle to and from the airport. Rooms are immaculate. No complaints at all.

  • 3/5 Danielle R. 1 year ago on Google
It’s close to the airport and the rooms are decent sized. The dining area is way too small to accommodate guests even during a slow time. We are Hilton Diamond, asked for an upgrade, the staff member didn’t even respond to that, despite there being numerous upgraded rooms available. He literally didn’t respond. Staff is not friendly or particularly helpful. We booked this hotel for the shuttle only to be told it goes to the airport once an hour. That’s terrible and is different from what the very nice shuttle driver said which was the shuttle is on demand. I think potential guests need to know that before they book. I’ve never had that type of restriction. It makes no sense. Breakfast was runny eggs but the bread items were decent. Again, the breakfast area is incredibly small. The rooms are desperately in need of updating. It’s all brown and drab. Convenient location, ok breakfast, decent rooms, not great customer service. It’s a mixed bag.

Stayed for almost 2 weeks. The rooms are large, spacious, clean, and comfy. The room comes with a ref, stove, dishwasher, microwave, and utensils. There’s a free airport shuttle and breakfast spread in the morning (+ light dinner/snacks on Wednesday evenings). There’s also a laundry area, gym, and indoor pool. The highlight for me was the service. Michael, the supervisor, was really helpful on numerous occasions. The Filipino receptionists and shuttle driver (didn’t get their names) were really friendly. Special shout out to mommy Gee and Mark who work in the kitchen. They never fail to ask us everyday how we’re doing and how’s the food. On our last day at the hotel, they even prepared us a special Filipino breakfast menu. (Thank you to the general manager for approving it) Can’t recommend enough! :)

Great place to rest near airport. Shuttle free once per hour. Clean. Staff very accommodating and professional. Lots of recycling efforts appreciated! Free breakfast with fruit salad and oatmeal as best choices. Negatives: pool was murky and too busy due to guests from Hampton also go to it. No hot tub.

The hotel was clean, modern, staff was friendly, room was spacious. Hot breakfast buffet had a lot of options. Would recommend.

Great place to stay, has the convenience of having an en-suite kitchenette if that is your thing for a few days in Toronto instead of looking for a restaurant that may or may not have delivery or what you really crave. Can't say enough about the staff. Very friendly and accommodating, always there to help and make things right which makes you feel very welcome in this pandemic time. Fantastic stay in a great city!

Booked here due to plane delay. Very easy book in process with app. Prompt response when i called for shuttle directions. Check jn was easy as they had my room ready after calling in for the shuttle. Room was large, nothing special. Strong shower stream, no issues overall. Would return here.

The best place to date my family and I have ever stayed. Most of the employees are super friendly, especially those at the reception, except for one lady who was attending breakfast during the week, she was super rude and discriminating, we didn't want to go down for breakfast because she noticed what we were eating. But everything else was an amazing experience.

Horrible experience, I would consider this property amongst the worst I’ve ever stayed at. Dirty and not well maintained. The floors in our room were sticky, very sticky. I assume they skip the floor cleaning between guests. Holes in bed sheets. Dusty kitchen. Absolute bare minimum bathroom amenities. Plumbing super noisy, the walls start shaking after use of toilet or water in other rooms. 3 towels for 2 days for 5 guests (they don’t do daily housekeeping). Key card had to be reset 3 times, I got stuck in the gym and had to exit through the Hampton Inn (no I didn’t keep my card next to my phone). Breakfast was really poor. Lastly, room 214 has no natural light, windows are obstructed by the HVAC system and roof aluminum. I’m a diamond member, my expectation is that they assign me to the best available room or at a minimum that they at least inform me that I’m getting the absolute worst room in the building. I wanted to like this place but nope! The front desk is completely oblivious to the issues.

Stayed in the hotel as a family, while we sold our house. Worked for us as we had a one bedroom suite with two queen beds. So many of the other affordable hotel options were a studio room or king bed with sofa bed in the lounge. Hotel was in a good location for us - close to the highway and close to a park for outside family time. WiFi was reliable for online school/watching kids TV online. Room was clean. Kitchen had enough equipment to cook for the 4 of us. Could have used a chopping board and a plug for the sink! It also had a tap that leaked water when in use, and the hot/cold function was temperamental - once the hot water arrived, I couldn't seem to get cold! I adjusted my use, as I didn't want to switch rooms or have a worker come in the room to fix it. Breakfasts were generous, but a bit more of a daily variety would have been nice - after a week it was a bit boring! - perhaps mixing it up from a daily plain bagel to similar item... English muffin or croissant, or even a seeded bagel. Like I said, it was a good breakfast so this is just a small way to improve. If we ever need a comfortable hotel with kitchen in Toronto again, I'd return.

I am definitely going to stay here again. The hotel is not that luxury style, but the service were fantastic!. Very professional front desk clerk. Mae and katherine were both great and really helpful, they really know how to deal with the guests. Not to discuss into details, but we were satisfied and felt special with the kind of treatment we received. We missed our breakfast buffet, i called and they immidiately gave us something to eat. Very presentable and very quick! All of them were great. Hotel was a bit far from the train going to the city but they have shuttle that operates 24hrs. And you have everything you need from the kitchen stuff up to your bedroom stuff! Everything were complete. Hats off to the staff and to the management.

Worst “hotel” ever ( old mattresses / itchy and very old bathrooms ) and I travel a lot. General Manager Ruiz was rude/unprofessional / argumentative instead of even listening - should not be in that position. It’s a franchise so apparently he doesn’t care. Bathrooms look like our hospital bathrooms. Would not recommend!! And prices are insane for the “terrible quality” Up all night with my son because of poor bedding/ mattress and basically told too bad .. I hope this gets the attention of the owner who might actually care… and corporate.. Dr V

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Rooms are spacious as well. Breakfast is included but it seems as if those staff are running around like a chicken with its head cut off. The setup is pretty flawed but otherwise I’d recommend this hotel.

The ice maker in the freezer makes noise throughout the night. And when you tell the staff about it they say they will look into it but do not actually resolve the issue So the problem continues into the next night

Clean hotel with comfortable and spacious rooms. Some items are aging (wallpaper is falling off in washroom, decor is dated) but overall a good experience. Staff are friendly and professional with great service by the ladies at the breakfast bar. Would stay again.

Our stay was largely pleasant and we found the following pros and cons with the hotel: Pros: 1. Very spacious and clean rooms 2. Hospitable and helpful staff: everyone was very friendly and the staff at the breakfast counters was exceptional in their service and support. They ensured the food counters were always filled and even accommodated our special request for our 3year old. 3. Very good kitchen facility: had almost all commonly used items including pots, pans & cutlery. They even brought us a few additional pots we requested. 4. Ample onsite free parking: there is ample parking both in the front and back of the property for convenient parking. Cons: 1. slow shuttle service (usually 30-mins to pick) 2. conditional room cleaning (must be requested a day ahead) 3. slow room service (frequent follow up required)

I cannot recommend this hotel. Yes, the rooms were clean and the staff were above average. The available breakfast was decent. So, with those pros, what was the big con? Lack of parking. If you are driving your own car, stay away from this hotel. They have a lot that is way too small to serve the two large hotels at this location. They have an arrangement with a bowling alley a five minute walk away or a shuttle ride. During the winter, there are even fewer parking spots due to the snow. It is an inconvenience and worry that unfortunately overshadowed all the other positives at this hotel.

I had a nice stay here. The front desk and general hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and well appointed. Covid protocols were followed by both staff and guests. Great amenities (although I didn't use them) but the inside pool is a plus that I may take advantage of next time. There are a few good restaurants within a short walk and plenty more within a short (5-10 min) drive. I will be staying here again in the near future.

This is our first time to stay in Canada. It's a nice and comfy place for stay. The room is quite big, with a kitchen inside so we can cook everyday. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good, they provide take away boxes if we are in hurry to go. Recommended place for stay đź‘Ť

A lovely place to stay... I was there for almost a month. The staff were super friendly and the complimentary breakfast has something for every one. Though the rooms could be updated decor wise, it's still a really comfy place to stay - home away from home. I will be back.

Bad experience, Stayed for 7 days for a business trip only for nights actually after work. Every morning the ladies serving the breakfast were so rude just like they don't want to give anything, after giving 1 item in the breakfast, she left and went on the other side for nothing. I thought it's by mistake, I ignored, next day it was the same thing, instead of using the tongs, they were holding the bread with the gloves on, with which she was opening and closing the doors as well. I notified the front desk but no response. Unhygienic..

Homewood Suites is a hotel that I will recommend to my personal friends. It is conveniently located near the airport and the intersection of HWY 401 and 427.plus within a 2-5min drive you can get your morning Timmies or Starbucks to start your day of shopping and trying various cuisines. The pool area was clean and a perfect end to a long day. The breakfast that is included is great. Fresh fruits, cereals, eggs, sausage, breakfast home fries, flaky pastries, muffins, bagels and bread can be toasted with butter or another spread. There’s a juice bar and a variety of granola, dried fruit, seeds, nuts, oatmeal and yogurt. Anyone who doesn’t enjoy the breakfast here is hyper picky

I booked this hotel online without knowing too much about it. On the day of arrival I got delayed by 3+ hours due to traffic. I called the hotel and let them know. I requested a cot and the person on the other end did not commit but promised to check and do his best. That’s all I could have asked. As soon as I reached the hotel at 2 am, a person was present at front desk and knew who I was. The person was very pleasant to talk to. The room was clean and well set up. Is it dated ->yes Does it have enough room and everything works -> yes The breakfast area was clean and was good. Not too lavish but that is expected. Personally I am biased towards scrambled eggs so definitely missed it. They have a new kind of egg every day . So good to get a change. For me the location was perfect. It’s in the middle of everything .. eateries , movie theater are walkable and I felt very safe. I would definitely comeback and stay in this hotel again. I would give all employees a 5* rating.

I had a 10 day stay here. Good: 1. Staff are polite and responsive. 2. Breakfast was fullfilling and tasted great. 3. Room was OK, no complaints or noise. 4. Wifi speed was good, able to work and kids were watching movies at same time. 5. Was able to use business center for few printing and was surprised to see the very good privacy measures they had to make sure your private data was removed from computer after your session is done. 6. They had more push carts and more parking space. Bad: 1. One elevator was not working most of the time. 2. No complimentary water bottles, would have appreciated atleast 1-2 bottles during check in. 3. No vending machines and their snack center or pantry charges exorbitant price for items, one 500 ml water bottle was 2$. Final score : 4 out of 5. Will stay with them in future : Yes for sure.

They are not helping people. even though the manager just saw their benefit. By any problem, just guests will lose their time and days in this hotel. The room was very clean and well appointed. when there is not any problem its ok but if you face with a small problem this hotel is not solving and helping, they just try to keep their benefits. On the first day, there was water leakage from the bathroom roof. They offered me to replace the 6-adult-suit with 2 small rooms that each of them has a king bed or stay in the 6-adult-suit with a 100 $ discount, and they told me to ensure the leakage was finished. So because the changing room was hard for my family and they surly told me the leakage finished completely, I accepted staying in the room with 100 $ discount. But on the second day, we had a pouring of water from the roof. Their solving option was just changing the room with two king bedrooms. actually, I was traveling with my parents and two kids we wanted to be together. So again I tolerated their damaged room. But they were really impolite during the checking-out time. From 10 am, the housekeepers and receptions met us, knocked on the door, and called the room several times when wanted to leave the hotel. even though I tolerate their damaged room and I did not argue with them about their bad situation just they offered me a lower situation for me, and they did not tolerate our situation. I am really disappointed about staying in this hotel. and their situation and behavior had a really bad effect on our vacation. I don't recommend this hotel anyway. Actually ZERO STAR is suitable for this Hotel.

This has got to be one of the best experiences at I had at a hotel. It is conveniently located close to the airport, Toronto and Mississauga. The staff are super friendly, helpful and approachable. The rooms are super nice and clean. Even when we needed an extra blanket, they wrapped it in a special cover and left it on our room door. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

Cat friendly, good breakfast, low on shampoo for some reason! Great selection of Tea for breakfast, variation of choices every day was good. Wifi is solid, kitchen in the suit was serviceable, although I would've loved an electric kettle instead of the coffee maker.

The place and team was super!!! Thanx for hosting! We will definitely be choosing Homewood Suites in the future due to its convenience and flexibility that is so much needed when traveling as a family. The rooms were equipped with the most everyday stuff that make even longer stays comfortable. Outside it was quite and clean. Most of the time we felt safe around the area.
