Hands down the best french toast I've ever had. There are options for vegan and vegetarian, but no matter what you get it will be divine. It's a small place so it's a little cozy for me, but the art is incredible and the service is fantastic. Be prepared for these incredible dishes to take a little time, but it is worth the wait.

Takes a while to get service since it's just the owner by herself, but oh man is it worth the wait! Everything is so deliciously crafted, from the bread, to the food. I would 100% come back for breakfast or lunch, or even just coffee and a pastry. It's a small space but feels like a cozy and artsy space.

Tiny but absolutely lovely breakfast spot in the Little Italy neighborhood. The vibes are delightfully relaxing and the staff is so friendly. Food-wise, we enjoyed the breakfast sandwich and the smoked salmon & eggs. The soup we got was also amazing. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. Ideally, group sizes of 1-2 would be best. A strong recommend for anyone in the neighborhood.

Wonderful place to come get a bite to eat. I tried the roast beef brie sandwich with caramelized onions. It came out very fresh and cooked to perfection with the right amount of meat to cheese ratio. Janelle has a wonderful personality and is a joy to speak to. And Lenny is very courteous and sweet, they both run this gem in harmony. As the place is small it fills up fast but they do their best to get everyone taken care of.

I had the most delightful brunch experience at this charming spot! The French toast was absolutely phenomenal, with a perfect balance of crispy edges and fluffy interior, drizzled with a delectable syrup. What truly sets this place apart is the warm and welcoming owner who made us feel like family. Their friendly demeanor added to the cozy ambiance, making it a must-visit for brunch lovers. I can't wait to return!

Janelle’s Kitchen was one of the most pleasant breakfast experiences I’ve had in this city. Every dish we ordered tasted like it was made with love, especially the French toast and the crepe! The atmosphere is amazing, and the staff was so lovely and welcoming! I’m looking forward to becoming a usual visitor and trying everything on the menu!

Service is great. Spot is cozy and something that reminds me of a few local diners in the 90s. French toast was good but nothing mind blowing. I was hoping it's the same level of Saving Grace down towards Dundas st.

This is such a great little hidden gem! There’s very limited seating, so make sure to get here early! They have a cute handwritten menu with lots of options. They had oat milk for my coffee and a vegan blt on the menu. Unfortunately I have a wheat allergy. Janelle made me a ‘blt salad’ with a potato roasti on the side. It was very delicious! The bacon was so crispy and flavourful! The service was so friendly and wonderful, I will definitely be back soon!

A hidden gem!!! The coziest place with the homiest atmosphere and the BEST breakfast sandwich in all of the GTA! All the food is delicious and the service is excellent. Highly recommended!!!!

Wow, believe the 5 star rating! 4 years at this location. Breakfast sandwich was outstanding, cappuccino was great too. Very cozy atmosphere, not suited for groups larger than 3. Perfect date spot for breakfast brunch or lunch. Probably underpriced, $20 with tip included. Classical music and walls covered by paintings of local artists for sale. A little noisy from College St traffic but doesn't diminish a unique experience. I'll be back here soon.

Couldn’t have enjoyed our meal here more. We stopped in with our baby and Janelle and the other server (didn’t catch their name) were so friendly and accommodating. (Note - there is a change table jn the washroom). Breakfast sandwich is to die for. But recommend also not missing out on the scone buttered with the freshest tasting strawberry jam. All very affordable for brunch downtown. The best part however was the feeling you have of warm coziness and and knowing that the food is made with lots of love and joy.
