The staff were very friendly and nice. The prices are moderate. Not cheap but not expensive either. The Currys are good but not spectacular. It tastes more like a homemade version and it's not as rich in flavor and succulent as you would expect from a restaurant but it was lighter and less greasy and healthier so I appreciated it. They also gave us complimentary dessert.

Best Indian Roti I've had in 5+ years! And that's from a proud Indian-Canadian. But what makes them special is their warmth & service. Got to meet both owners - very hard working & humble guys. Offered a complimentary dessert too. BONUS REASON TO SUPPORT THEM: I found out that they try to employ newcomers to Canada & even met a newcomer staff member. Champions!

Butter chicken roti mild spicy is a great item to share. The customer service here is exceptional- they were super sweet to offer my baby juice which we declined (baby only drinks water and milk) but I am thankful for the offer. We had window seats while enjoying our dinner date.

Really flavourful and creamy vege korma roti. Exceeded my expectations. Sauce was delicious and the roti wasn’t oily. Portion was generous in size. Service was friendly. Curious to try their other options as a consequence. Will repeat, and I won’t bother with the local competition given the standard this place sets. Also appreciate that when I asked for mild, it really was mild and wasn’t spicy. A lot of Indian restaurants still have spicy dishes even for mild. Really appreciated that mild is mild.

Very juicy and creamy roti fillings! And you can really taste yogurt in the mango lassi. Amazing dishes and the services made you want to come back the next day 🥰🥰🥰 feeling loved and warmy in this winter. Perfectly 5 out of 5

Having tried various butter chicken rotis in Toronto, I can confidently say that Roti Mahal serves the best one by far. I been coming for 17 years!! The chicken is always tender and perfectly cooked, while the creamy tomato-based sauce is to die for. The food is always fresh and the portions sizes are always generous. The staff are always friendly and provided excellent service. If you're a fan of butter chicken roti I highly recommend visiting!

Don’t be deterred by appearances! This resto is small and somewhat “transitional” but OH MY GOD! The food is incredible! The variety is excellent, the staff are incredibly friendly and the prices are very very fair. I’ve had quite a few roti in my time and this place is the best I’ve had. If you are in the area then definitely check this place out. I would even go so far as to say it’s worth jumping in a cab for! A reliable eat, every time.

We ordered from Roti Mahal for our office holiday party! The food was delicious, and we got to try several of their rotis. When picking up food from the restaurant, we were also greeted with friendly service from the staff and the cook, which left a very good impression right upfront. We will be back!!

My quest for the perfect Indian takeout place in Downtown Toronto is finally over! Delicious food, outstanding customer service, and just the right amount of spice. Tried the butter chicken roti and lamb biryani with spice level of medium to hot and both were fire.
