They need to improve their service for sure. Food was good no complaints for that. But when it comes to service I think they need to improve. No one came to my table after I got my food. Even I finished my food and waiting for left over container no one showed up. Let’s discuss about their food I ordered tandoori meat platter, goat curry and lachcha paratha. In tandoori platter kebabs were bit dry else everything was top notch. Goat was tender and the sauce was very nice.

Wish I could give it a 5 star. But not now at least. Good: 😊 The food is great !!! It hits you taste buds very nicely. I think ,it's in top 3 best Indian food, I have had in Toronto. Well balanced menu. Thanks to the chef's. Ambiance is also pretty good. Not so good :😔 The ambiance is good , but can be better. The area where people wait, is very cold as soon as someone opens the door. Not just waiting area, but where we were eating, just behind the waiting area. It's overcrowded, I think it's time to acquire more space 🙂 ( doing good business). Music is too loud. The crowd is already shouting when they are talking.. why you need more noise.. lol. Service can be improved. We did not have much issues, but seen nearby tables were having some hiccups. Overall a great place to treat your taste buds with Indian food 😋

If you want amazing Indian food, this is the place to go to; but this place has tremendous amount of work to do on their ambience. Let me divide my review in 3 components: Food, Ambience and Service! Food: absolutely superb and fantastic portions! We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 mains, and it was superb! My wife hates spicy food and I love spicy food, and they listened to our preferences to make the food accordingly. The appetizers were freshly barbecued as the flavours and the consistency of the meat proved accordingly. Ambience: this is one place this restaurant can seriously improve. I understand due to covid, they had a few furniture all over the place but now that dine in has begun, I recommend the management to clear some boxes and furniture in order to make the restaurant more presentable. They have a bug zapper inside the restaurant and you can hear bugs getting zapped. In addition, I saw some plates kept under the bug zapper. Worst of all the music inside is so loud that I could not properly talk to my wife because we could hardly hear each other. When we asked the waitress, she tried but she was told the music volume cannot be reduced. Management - please look into the ambience and such hygiene issues because I am doubtful I can come back if this is not fixed. Service: excellent service. Our server was Sonam and she did an amazing job to give us some recommendations and ensure we were taken care of. Overall - the food and service was amazing but the ambience, hygiene and cleanliness has serious improvement opportunities. We cannot come back unless these issues are fixed.

I have no idea how did this restaurant managed to get 4.6 rating . Maybe there service is good before but I went there last night . First of all it’s not a good restaurant for going with family . Too many drunk people , loud music , you can’t even hear each other sitting on the same table . I even requested someone to lower down the volume a bit but they say they won’t do it . The food and presentation was fine . But the service was so slow , I’m not blaming the servers here , they were doing their job super good and were very nice and kind , it’s just that they were under staffed . We waited around 15-20 after we finish our food just to get the bill . And it’s very expensive and over rated . 21 dollars for gratuity ?? And we didn’t even get good service . Won’t be coming back here .

The food was amazing. All the food was perfectly marinated and cooked to perfection. The drinks were creative and good in taste as well. Shout-out to "MEET" who took care of us and made an amazing experience. He has a talent in making drinks.

Very tasty food and fantastic Service. Manav attended our table and his suggestions were very honest. His service is excellent. Service is fast and very well maintained. Good ambience. Tandoori chicken , curries, Naans were very tasty. I would say best so far in Mississauga. Felt like typical restaurant in India. Even though price is little higher side it's worth it.

The taste is very good but not excellent. There is room for improvement. The dishes are slightly overpriced. The service is pretty good. Heads up: the establishment charges a gratuity (almost 20%) for groups of 5 and over. The same is printed on the menu but the font is too small. The severs should advise the customers of this levy before hand. Must try: their BP chicken and honey chilli potatoes. All in all, a pretty decent experience.

I came here for the first time but was a bit disappointed. We tried Dahi Kabab and they were pretty good. The disappointment came with the main course. The chicken dish was warm (not hot). The service was average as well. I hope that this was a one-off experience and not a consistent problem given the other great reviews. I will definitely come here one more time to reevaluate. However, the environment and the vibes in the restaurant are great. The menu is very creative and definitely made me laugh.

Good vibe and food … feels like high end modern Dhaba food. The server Meet helped us with the food recommendations, each and every recommendation deserves 5 star 🤩 !! The food was delicious and quantity of curries were sufficient for 2 to 3 people. The chicken jhol curry is must try ... The staff is polite, attentive and the service is pretty fast. Minus 1 point for the music which was kinda loud and the wait time for table allocation .. we had to follow up multiple times to get the table.. I see the people registered after us got the table before. Also we got the phone call “your table is ready“ after the table was allocated and we were having appetizers 😅.. but I would say “Some things are worth the wait” 🙂

We went to this amazing restaurant this weekend. The ambience, food, crowd, taste was all desi. I am happy with the price point too. It’s reasonable. Although the portion size could have been better. ABHINAV was taking of us yesterday and did a superb job! He was super knowledgeable, mindful and very attentive person. He paid detailed attention to our needs and helped us in deciding over the dishes as per our taste. I highly recommended this restaurant!

Myself and a friend went here at night for the first time. We like to try foods from different countries and we were craving curry. The environment inside the restaurant was fun and busy with customers, good music in the background and pretty lights. We enjoyed it.. fun environment. I’m not an expert in Indian food but I loved the butter chicken curry! The spices and flavours were SO delicious. Our waitress was Cynthia.. she was nice and informative. Will come back again to try different items on the menu.

Update: The food is amazing but the weekend rule of 90 minutes a table informed during the middle of the meal is uncalled for. Takes the experience out of the dining. Amazing food and a very energetic experience. Our hostess Mankiran was fabulous and ensured everything was perfect inspite of the restaurant running at full capacity.

By far this is the best indian food I've ever had. It was so delicious and the dish presentation was also amazing. The service is exceptional, special thanks to "Meet" who is extremely helpful and kind. Will come back for sure and wish they have a location in Scarborough....

Desi Bar & Grill is worth every penny you spend.We were attended by Ms Rashi. She was quick enough to attend to our needs. Her service was excellent and hospitality is worth experiencing. Wait was bit longer but really worth . Food was awesome. And Ms Rashi gave us excellent service. We will definitely recommend this restaurant for their hospitality and good food. ❤️

Amazing Indian Food, great vide, ambience and service. Only one person from our table was Indian, but we all really enjoyed the place and the food. A great music playlist too. We dined in a booth for about 4 hours and our server Cynthia was really nice and did an amazing job taking care of us. This place is 10/10

This place has bomb authentic Indian food. I’ve come here multiple times for their butter chicken over the last 5 years, and it has never failed me once. Of course, order it with the garlic naan. Match made in heaven. The other dishes are equally as good.

Desi’s food was authentic and delicious. Loved the fused vibes of Indian culture and pub. Our awesome host Jas provided good service, was very helpful and recommended some great dishes. Congrats on your first year in Canada and wishing you all the best of luck with work, studies and next steps!

It was a good experience. Food was Little Expensive but it was good. Loved their honey chilli fries, momos are expensive and not so good. Their spring roll is the best i had in Canada. We tried karahi paneer which we didnt like at all. But chicken dish was good. Worth buying their garlic naan, methi roti. Dont go for regular naan or rumali roti etc. Drinks we got banta lemonade, some aam panna drink too. We didnt like them all. They had bar too which we didnt trt Lots of free parking with fine ambience inside. Staff is professional and they serve bottled water. Speed of delivering food on table is also good.

It is my second time here, and I love it. I had butter chicken and chicken kebab with garlic naan, I enjoyed with every piece. All the servers were so nice specially Shubh was helpful with everything. I will definitely will come here regularly when I crave Indian food.

This was my third visit to this place. I really like the vibe of the restaurant and their food is tea delicious and customer service is great, the servers know what they serve. The downside it is overly expensive- food as well as the drinks. One thing I noticed on my all 3 visits they always run out off the less expensive tequilas on their menu. If you are a group of 5 or more they charge you 18% gratuity. I don’t prefer to go here usually because of the prices but once in a while it’s ok and also they are open late night. I will recommend sure for their food but also keep the prices in mind.

The taste of food here is really outstanding. That itself is the biggest reason to go back again and also I can understand why it’s so crowded. The place is small but has a cool & chic ambience, so all the more to keep on visiting. Special call out for our server “Shubh” whose service we really liked. We basically went with what she suggested as part of our order and everything came out fine. The less 1 star ⭐️ is because I found it to be a bit pricey, may be it’s a way to control the influx of crowd. The other reason is as I said earlier, it’s a bit low on space and I hope they can expand it in future.

One of the really great place if you want to drink, dance and eat food. It has really great atmosphere with great music lights and bar. There masala papad is really tasty and spicy. There starter are great from panner tikka to chilli fries. They have great options for veg and non-veg curries. Their banta lemonade is really worth a try. Rumali Naan is must try. Overall a great experience have visited several time and always great customer service.

Good for small families. Music was too loud. Live music could have been better. Will not suggest for younger kids. Food was good. We went as a group of 10 people and we were not satisfied with sitting space provided to us. It was too vertical that we’re not able to talk to entire group. Music was one part which lifted the mood for a while but sound was too loud. Food was good in taste . We ordered veg and non veg. Both tasted good .

Ambience is nice, food is okay, not worth the exorbitant prices that they charge. Also, they charged extra for some items saying that their prices had changed yet on the menu they still had old prices. We had ordered plain butter naan but they gave us a garlic one, same with rotis, ended up giving more than we ordered and wouldn't take it back yet we had to pay for it. And the sabzi, we ordered a paneer sabzi yet there was hardly any paneer in it, but was stuffed with onions and capsicums and first time around the quantity was very less. Second time, we ordered the same sabzi, somehow the quantity is more...what is this? And why would you mix raw onions on top of the sabzi. The service was super slow even though it was a weekday. Disappointing experience for the amount we paid.

One of the best Desi joints I have been to in Mississauga. Ambience was great. Food quality was excellent and good quantity. A dish easily serves 3 people. We we take good care of by Divyansh. Will surely visit again.

Great ambience with music, lights and bar. Service was really quick and food was absolutely delicious. Must try butter chicken , daal makhini, rumali naan and honey chilly potatoes. This restaurant is always very crowded and busy ,even on weekdays , so be prepared to wait for the table.

We ordered chilli honey gobhi and got hair in it ! They did not even say sorry for it. Had sour experience last 2 times, it used to be a great place to eat. But not anymore.They have really low lighting so folks, be careful to check your food thoroughly while eating.

This one is one of the best dine in experiences I have ever had. Waitress Mehtab she was amazing with her service even very busy at the restaurant her service was great. The best part of dine in was the live music. They were spectacular with their performances.

The food was very disappointing. I walked in there expecting it to be delicious because it smelled so good from afar and it drew a huge crowd. I expected it to be great! But it was very disappointing. The fries were covered in a greasy sauce and very unappetizing. The curry had huge pieces of bell pepper and was too spicy. It was very off-putting.

Authentic Indian food with delicious flavors and great ambiance. Service was fast, even if it was busy evening. Nice place to hang out with friends. Music was a little loud, but it's fun if you really enjoy bollywood songs. Food quality, along with the test, was great.

Restaurant had cozy ambiance, food was very delicious, great flavour. Really loved the steamed momos. Sonam attended our table, she was very pleasant, attentive and time efficient. Ordered veggie steamed momos, daal makhani, Tawa boti tikka and tandoori roti. Loved it . The only reason for 4 star review instead of 5 is the price point. The prices are bit above average and meal proportions are relatively small for that price but would say the flavours were great.

1st time here with my team and everyone enjoyed the food. They are super busy which is granted from the nice environment and great food, so there were quite a bit of people waiting to be seated. It's worth it. Looking forward to coming back here in the summer. Hopefully, they decide to lease the suite next door

The food is fantastic and very expensive as well. Let me make it very clear that except for the high price, everything is great here, the food, the ambience and the staff. It is very difficult to justify the exorbitantly priced food. Just as an example the pitcher beer was $40!!! We were 4 adults and a kid and it costed us $285 including the mandatory 18% service charge. Would I go back, definitely no because of the price. Do I recommend it, maybe yes if you don't mind the expense. Not to forget that like every other place that does this, they ask for a 5 star review there itself and I really don't remember if they offered any discount for it.

Referred by friends… Staff politely said we could do dine in only for an hour. liked the ambiance and the songs were played on one side of the speakers which i kind of irritating a little. On the food, we really liked half of the items we ordered and the other half of the items are worst (salty and its like they mixed the masala and served it). Rasamalai was good and the mocktail was bad.

Food was very delicious and the restaurant set up was great with nice booming music to accompany the meal. Thanks to Guru for excellent service and making our first experience at this restaurant/bar one to fondly remember. Will definitely return to this place in the future.
