Super happy to see Farmhouse is back! We ordered various cocktails, pickles and cheese as our starter, and steak and the pork belly for our mains. The atmosphere here is wonderful, especially in the patio. The staff are exceptional and provide the best environment. This is our go-to place for special occasions, and is a gem in the Junction. Everyone in the neighborhood must try at least one! Looking forward to coming back.

Came here for dinner tonight. My partner and I knew it would be slim chances for us getting a table at 645pm, esp. on a Saturday night - but there is always that chance! Unfortunately, they had no tables available so we decided to order takeout -- we always want to support our local restaurants in our neighbourhood, especially having been closed for so many months. We both ordered the Vegetable MAIN "Eat your Veggies" on the menu which the server described as having: Portobello mushrooms, Bok Choy, red bell peppers, garlic scapes, and parsnips. I need to point out that this was not our 1st time eating here, and both of us have ordered the vegetable main in the past. I understand times are tough for restaurants, BUT spending $48 (tax and tip) for these large boxes that held mostly air = not the way to go about it. I used to work in the restaurant industry (BOH), so I tried to imagine how they would've plated these 2 MAIN vegetable dishes had we actually gotten a table, to make it worth the amount we spent on a single layer of barely cooked garlic scapes, and what looked like a stir-fry of thinly sliced red peppers and bok choy leaves, sprinkled with fried onions. Furthermore, both my partner and I did not get any parsnips in our dish which was one of the reasons I wanted to get it in the 1st place! I need to remind you, these were not SIDES. These were our MAIN entrees. And no, we had not taken any bites from the boxes... my partner had placed the fork in his box for scale. This picture was taken right after opening our takeout boxes. I commented to my partner that "IF this was my 1st experience at this restaurant, I would not recommend it to my friends" It was sad to the point we were laughing and joking about how brutal the dish was. It actually blows my mind that the chef or person expediting would have allowed these dishes to go out at all. OVERALL: Service was great. The food was very, VERY disappointing, especially having eaten here several times before.

This country style rustic looking restaurant truly resonates its name. A very laid back atmosphere and attentive staff add to the charm of the space. Savoury brunch dishes are served in appropriate portion. The Veggie Eggs Benny tasted scrumptious; the tasty biscuit topped with flavourful tomatoe chutney and perfect poached eggs. Simply outstanding!

Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and experience minute the fact it was freezing cold outside which did creep into the restaurant, not docking any points for that but definitely wish there were a few extra heaters. Otherwise, mushroom burger was light yet filling and the house cut fries had a great crisp. Very interested in coming back for the brunch on the patio when it’s warmer!

Set inside what looks like was once a period home with a reasonable amount of space, yet still a quiet and cosy place. Friendly and accommodating staff. When we ate here the menu was small but not lacking. The vibe is more casual than fancy. The food was all very well presented and tasty with typical Canadian fare.

This is one of my faves for a Sunday brunch. A M A Z I N G food and delicious coffees combined with a rustic (cozy) atmosphere. You have to try the Bacon Benny and also the Scotch eggs. It closed for a while and now it reopened - I couldn’t be more happy.

Instagram: Foodmiipls Came here for dinner for friends birthday. Very small but very cozy and nice atmosphere. Love the aesthetics! The service was AMAZING! Very kind and lovely people! Even had a lovely chat with the owners! The food tastes great! No complaints. We ordered the 24oz steak (medium rare) to share and it was cooked perfectly. Everything we ordered was seasoned very well! Shoutout to the Chef! Our order: Big Ticket MP ( 24oz Steak with Side of fries) Extra sides added - Potatoes & Green Salad The fries were really good that we ordered another plate! Dessert - Apple Crumble (so good! Recommend!) Overall we enjoyed and had a great time! If you're ever in the junction! Definitely check it out!

Came for Saturday Brunch because they were one of the only places in the neighbourhood advertising a vegan option. However that option turned out to be a $16 small bowl of fried potatoes and peppers (the toast in the photo was an additional $4). Disappointed that they didn't think to add anything at all to the vegan hash - spinach, tofu, avocado, beans, literally anything.

Cute local restaurant, small unique menu, and cute decor and atmosphere. The food was quite fresh and tasty and I like restaurants with smaller menus. The only little issue for me was the portions were quite small, so don’t come too hungry! We had the cured trout salad with miso dressing which was quite yummy, but the trout was a little bit fishy for my liking. We had the mushroom Agnolotti, and it was very tasty, it also had sweet potato on the bottom and that was very yummy. But again, the portion was a bit small. We finished our dinner with the maple tart with fresh whip cream on top, and that dessert was definitely very delicious. It wasn’t too sweet, which is perfect. And the fresh cream on top was very very yummy. I had the sparkling rose say and I quite enjoyed that. Would recommend this place. The service was also nice.

Farmhouse is a great spot for anyone looking to have brunch or dinner. On my latest visit, we decided to have dinner outside next to the fire. Good food and drinks (we had the hot toddy), and service was quick and friendly. My only feedback is that I would have liked more to have come alongside the fish main! Overall a very pleasant visit.

I brought my mom here for her birthday and we were just beside ourselves with how good the food is here! We had the mussels, meatballs, brie for appetizers and the steak frites for mains. Everything melted in our mouths, such good quality and very flavorful! Very cozy place and damn do they make a good paper plane cocktail. We will be back! Thank you Zoe for the great experience!

Walker in for brunch, was seated right away. The farmhouse atmosphere was quaint. Unfortunately just cold due to the weather and sitting near the door. Food was delicious the Bacon Benny was great, I loved the cheddar biscuit. All the staff were friendly and the service was efficient. Coffee was nice and strong too!

Have had brunch here multiple times since it reopened and we have really enjoyed each time! One of the best eggs Benedict in the city and great cocktails. Limoncello Spritz is A+. Look forward to coming back again.

We had a table of 6 and were really impressed with the food from Chef Eoghan. Our apps and mains were cooked to perfection and the service was incredible from owners Will and his beautiful partner. We were all happy to see the restaurant back up and running with new owners and the same fabulous chef. We hope to keep coming for many years!

Honestly I know they just reopened and are trying hard. The food is good no question but the service was very slow even if the staff were nice. The food was good but it was basically 40 dollars for a plate because the sides are not included. The pork belly was good while the flank steak was good enough. I don't know if I would return tbh I think at 30-33 dollars a plate there should be some sort of side.

We shared an incredible family style meal last night at Farmhouse Tavern. We started off with the farm board and the deep fried brie. Both were sensational. Our main consisted of the “big ticket” which was a mouth watering ribeye, grilled to perfection. Topped with the florets, potatoes and an outstanding chimichurri. We also enjoyed the octopus and the pasta. Wonderful meal and great service, can’t wait to return!

Farmhouse Tavern is back and better then ever! We went for brunch on the patio and the service was so quick with people working as a team to ensure customers never had a low water glass or empty coffee cup. The food was great and we enjoyed some of the newer menu items like the carrot margarita (no seriously it was tasty!). Pictures is our meals not shown are the four eggs that also came with the platter! The interior has also had a refresh and we looking forward to our next trip to dine inside!

What an amazing place to eat! Been here for brunch once before and it was affordable and large portions and TRANS FRIENDLY. Came here for dinner a couple months later to see what they have to offer and the food is farm to table so it’s always fresh. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. The cocktails are original and delicious and the environment is warm and calm. Would defiantly recommend for that small town nostalgia restaurant vibes.

There are so many reasons as to why I love this restaurant!!! It has quite the rustic feel to it which gives off a comfy, cozy, and happy feeling each time. The staff is pleasant, the food is tasty, and the service is timely. I truly appreciate their Farm-to-Table concept. You can really taste the quality in their food. Their brunch menu can be a touch small but that’s really a minor concern based on how great the overall experience always is. If the duck is available at the time of your visit, I HIGHLY recommend it. Best duck I’ve consumed!!! Lastly, I have severe egg allergies. For a kitchen that cooks a lot of egg products, they sure keep me safe each time and really take the steps to make sure I’m healthy. You must eat here at least once :)

We had a great experience at Farmhouse Tavern. Our server was polite, kind and efficient. The food was hot and delicious. We really appreciated having the gratuity included in our bill. It removes the guesswork of trying to figure out how much to leave for a tip!

Came here years ago and only recently revisited this joint. Great menu options! Though it may not be the case if you're a vegan. Anyways, the farmhouse themed/rustic finishes that make the place stand out as well.

we went expecting very low expectations as the menu is small but the food wowed us. The trout was delicious, burger was amazing, I cannot duplicate this at home, heirloom tomato salad was nothing short of delicious and fresh. Covered patio kept us dry, service was excellent.

Farmhouse hosted my wife's birthday dinner the other night - party of 14. From the minute we walked in right up until the last of us left, we were wonderfully taken care of by the amazing people at The Farmhouse Tavern. Great selection of wine and beer, great apps and great mains. The service was perfection, and the food was tasty, fresh, and brought to the table with perfect timing. Quite literally could not have been happier with deciding to spend our evening here. Will be back 10000%. Thanks Farmhouse!!

We went for brunch and the service was really good. I ordered the bacon Benny and my partner ordered the House Hash. I enjoyed the bacon benny very much. The hollandaise sauce was great, the cheddar biscuit paired really well with the perfect poached egg. The bacon was a little overdone, but the fries were crispy and very tasty. Our main issue was the house hash, it was not enjoyable. The brisket was all fat! Maybe two pieces were actually meaty. I understand that some people enjoy the fattier cuts of beef but don’t make your hash 90% fatty cuts.

Stumbled on this gem and oh my goodness I’m definitely coming back! They have a great selection of locally sourced food and a wide variety of beer/ cocktails. Staff is super friendly and gave us some great recommendations. Apparently they also have brunch - will for sure be back to try it out!

Excellent restaurant with combination of hearty country classics and some more upscale items. Large craft beer selection and good wine list. Really enjoyed the meal and the service.

It offered a unique opportunity to connect with the land and animals. The friendly staff provided informative tours, allowing us to learn about sustainable farming practices and even participate in some farm activities. The fresh produce and farm-fresh products available for purchase were a highlight, and the taste was unparalleled.

House smoked bacon is next level. Benny's on the cheese biscuit super good. Prices are a bit on the high side in my opinion, but it's worth it. Decor is kitsch and cozy.

I had a very nice dinner here on Friday night. The mood/vibe is very nice, feels very classic. The service was great, our waiter provides many great suggestions on the menu and also a great recommendation for a wine pairing. This was a great experience well worth it. Would go back again for sure

Went Saturday morning. Fairly busy, it was about a 20min wait. Staff was nice and welcoming. Our service was great as well. The food was tasted super yummy. Eggs were done to perfection. The pancakes were really rich. It was a lot of food we ordered 3 dishes and ended up having to take some home. I would go back.

My husband surprised me with a “date night” and we went to the farmhouse tavern for dinner. We had driven by for years and finally stopped in to try it. We loved it! The service was amazing. Their bartender Garrett makes the most amazing cocktails and visited our table to discuss wines for our dinner pairing. They really seem to care about what they are doing over there. Will definitely be going back.
