Hands down my favourite restaurant in Toronto. I have been coming here for years, the food is consistently a 10/10 every time, the sauces are amazing, the ambiance is wonderful and calming, and the service is impeccable. The Chef is a culinary genius, the way he makes his sauces is magic. We got the lamb madras and the fish magic...it is addicting, trust me! Perfect for a cute quiet date night or a warm family gathering. Cannot recommend enough!

Ordered butter chicken, lamb twist, samosa, garlic naan and rice. Incredible flavor and phenomenal service! Best garlic naan I’ve had in ages. Restaurant was very clean and bright. And the best part… inexpensive. So much food for such a reasonable price! Highly recommended for anyone looking for Indian cuisine in the Junction area!

What we ordered and our thoughts on the food: - Garlic naan: nice and chewy, but could be rolled out a little thinner. - Butter chicken: we were looking forward to this, but it had a very strong cardamom / clove taste to it, and is a tad too sweet. - Home-style curry chicken: this was delicious, in contrast to the butter chicken. - Samosas: this one is our favourite. we’re not typically fans of too much cumin, but the samosas were delicious when paired with the tamarind chutney. we will definitely be ordering this again! Overall, not a terrible spot for indian take out. Might have some hit/miss but we’d love to order again and try out other dishes!

The quality of taste, service, and kindness you receive here is unparalleled to any other restaurant I've been to. - I've made curries for myself at home for 5 years, and it is nothing close to what I get here. Thanks for the best food of my life, I'll always be grateful for being welcomed here.

Hidden gem in Toronto! By far the best Indian food in the city, we have been trying different dishes and all of them are amazing and made with such fresh ingredients (highly recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala, Fish Magic, and Lamb Madras). The chef and his staff are so friendly and welcoming from the moment you walk in the door, and the restaurant has such a great ambiance, we love coming in every time and look forward to each visit.

Fantastic little spot. The cook and staff are very friendly, but we stay for the food. Authentic Indian food is all you will find, cooks with passion. Make sure you get the freshly made naan bread, I’m not sure you could find any better in the city. My only suggestion is to get larger cups, I felt we had to constantly bug the staff for more water.

Our favourite restaurant in the city. Always delicious and fresh and full of flavour. We’ve tried the entire menu, everything is excellent. The Goan fish is very special, and I’m a huge fan of the bangan bartha. The butter naan is so hot and fresh straight from the tandoor oven. The service is attentive and super friendly. It’s no surprise that it’s always full no matter what night you go!!

If you want to know what good north Indian food tastes like, please visit this place. We had bread rolls, daal amritsari and mutter panner and I cannot wait to go back this place for more.

I just enjoyed a chicken Korma, plain rice and Naan bread from Curry Twist. They were all delicious! I used Doordash and the food arrived really quickly, was still piping hot, fresh and tender. I recommend Curry Twist to anyone looking for authentic Indian food in the west end of Toronto.

Love that the spices are not overwhelming and the ingredients taste fresh. Did not love that everything is separate (rice is a side order, as is naan). Samosas were excellent on the inside, but over-fried on the outside.

This was an unplanned dinner decision that we were thrilled to have made! The ratings for this place don’t lie; greeted with a warm welcome & smile from all members of the staff upon entry, and leaving with a belly filled with delicious authentic meals, this place gets a 10 out of 10! We tried the home style chicken curry (such a flavourful dish with a lovely coconut to it) the butter chicken (also incredibly flavourful and delicious) with garlic naan. Not only are their portions deceivingly large, their naan is made fresh in house and is to die for!! I appreciated our waiter giving us the dish recommendations, he was spot on. This is a great place for a casual meal. Anyone who loves Indian dishes will surely find gold here!!

Was craving Indian food so I figured I'd give this place a try: I ordered the butter chicken with rice and garlic naan bread. The butter chicken wasn't quite what I expected. The sauce was overly sweet and not very creamy (watery in fact, more like a soup than a gravy consistency). Most disappointingly of all, it contained cubed chicken breast (instead of thighs) which tasted like it had been cooked separately and tossed in the sauce before it was packaged. The garlic naan I ordered on the side was a generous size, but it didn't dull the disappointment from the overall meal. I'd probably go back and try something different, but not a particularly good first impression.

This place is a gem in The Junction. I went for the first time on a wintery Friday night and I was impressed! Upon walking in, the aroma was distinct without overwhelming. The service was very attentive, the food was flavourful and all was cooked to perfection. We ordered a chana dish and an eggplant dish with rice and garlic naan. I would highly recommend both dishes as well as the naan. If you're in the area and you haven't been, you're missing out. If you're visiting and looking for a local independent place to try, this is your spot. I'm sure I'll be back! :)

It was raining today so I Was craving samosas so I stopped by.The samosa was fresh and crisp. Saag Paneer and Garlic Naan cooked to perfection. This place is clean and hygienic which is a big plus! Absolutely recommend this place.

Always a lovely experience. Been going here for years its like our second home. The owner is always ready with a warm greeting. Staff is fantastic. The goan fish curry is my favorite!

We popped in on a Friday night based on the rave reviews. It didn't really live up to our expectations. We got a vegetarian biryani and a saag paneer with garlic naan - it just okay; the biryani was touch too salty and the naan was just ok. Service was slow but they seemed to be in the middle of the dinner rush with lots of take-out orders coming in so we didn't mind the wait but would have minded less if the food was worth waiting for.

Checked this place out finally after walking by it a few times and oh my goodness, do I regret not going here earlier!! So we got the fish magic, raita and butter chicken with naans and it was deeelish!! Butter chicken gravy was amazing and different but you really tasted the work put into making it right then. Fish magic was 🤌 as well, both different gravies but delicious! The staff are lovely and you’ll have the chef is amazing at his work. It’s also very clean. I’ll definitely be going back to try other dishes but this place is delicious! Give it a try!

Curry Twist has been our favourite neighbourhood Indian restaurant for years. The flavours are usually fantastic, although not always consistent. When they are at their best, they are absolutely wonderful, while on other occasions the same dishes will be good but not memorable. Likewise with their naan - sometimes it is fresh, tender and chewy, and at other times I would bet money that it came from a package at the grocery store. But we continue to order from here because when they are on their game they are really very special. Would be a 5 if more consistent. Some favourites: any of the paneer dishes, butter chicken, lamb twist masala, homestyle chicken curry, fish magic.
