This is my first time eating at bloor/ at.George location. I have been to the Scarborough and Markham locations a few times. In comparison, this is definitely inferior place in terms of food quality, cleanliness, and pricing. Mushrooms I orders had quite hit dirt in them. (See picture) I asked the waitress if they wash the mushrooms before serving. She answered “I don’t know.” That’s something eh ? The kimchi tasted much sourer than the usual. The chicken had after taste in the mouth. Two pieces of pineapples served were rotten. See picture. Tips. In both Markham and Scarborough locations, 10% tips are included in the hill. At this location, minimum 15%. I’ll drive to North Toronto next time. Edit: the owners response doesn’t seem to be interested in the dirt on mushroom served or rotten pineapple. Instead it talks more about tips? My review merely mentions how other two Gyubee locations collect tips differently.

The Bloor location is my favourite in the Toronto area. The wait list isn't usually too long and the dining area is spacious and clean. The service is great as there are a good number number of servers, and they change your grill for you at a good frequency without you having to ask. The food here is always tasty as well. The meats are fresh and well seasoned, and I haven't had any complaints with the desserts or appetizers to date.

I have visited other branches of this restaurant but the quality of the meat in this one is much worse! I could say that drinks and takoyaki taste the same. We are quite frequent customers of another branch so we know very well the amounts we normally eat, but here the meat had so much fat that we had stomach pain after eating, and they had to change the grill more than 3 times (when normally they do it at most once). Due to the position of the seats, you feel much less privacy, and it is annoying how many times people pass so close to your food! The service is much slower than in other branches, so although we ordered quite a few dishes when we arrived, we went about 10 minutes without eating because the next order did not arrive and no one came to ask if we needed anything. Finally, I saw that they put the order tickets on the food! which I definitely cannot consider hygienic!

All you can eat high quality and deliciously marinated meats, seafood, veggie, and more! Very nice and fun for activity and great value for the price. If you pay in cash, you get 10% off 👍 Service was also very quick. They come around often to check if you want anything else.

All you can eat. You can choose between a dinner or a lunch menu, the difference is the number of options, diversity of food and of course the price, dessert is included in both. Just ask the waitresses which meat and sides you want. The meat and veggies come raw for you to cook in the grill, that is in the middle of the special table, and you can choose how well you want it to be. And by the way it's really easy and fun. We tried everything from the lunch menu and for dessert, we could only get one popsicle each, we chose the mango and purple flavours. Everything was great. The waiting time for your order is tiny and the waitresses do a good job. So yeah, the waitresses definitely did a good job and deserve a good tip.

I often come here with my family or friends. We are happy every time visit! Food is great, reasonable price! Service is good! They don’t take reservations so first come, first serve. You should come a bit earlier to put your phone number down then shopping around because they often have long line up ( around 20-30m). I often shopping at Galleria supermarket near there by the way. Last time I visit they have fall special dish- the pumpkin soup is really good! Not even the main, their side dishes are really good too! Love their desert as well! 😋 Will coming back for sure!

Solid JBBQ spot, been here a couple of times. All you can eat. The beef menu was the highlight of the menu for me, lots of tasty options such as the beef tongue. Most of the beef has high fat content, however, and I would've preferred lighter seasoning (lots of oils, salt + fat = get full quickly - so if you overeat its easy to leave this place feeling gross). Chicken, shrimp, and lamb were alright. Great vibe and friendly servers. P.S.: The crème brûlées are disrespectfully good.

food was absolutely incredible and things come to your table FAST. lots of choices of meat; beef chicken and pork available including seafood and side dishes like veggies, rice and soups. Dorie was our server and she was so nice, attentive and quick. creme brulee and vanilla ice cream for dessert.. delicious! definitely coming back $40 for each person all you can eat.

Friendly staff, open and enthusiastic to advise other dishes. The meat dishes are well seasoned and very tasty. The space is clean, especially in the halloween season, so the decoration is very cute.

Gyubee is one of the best Japanese BBQ, hands down. The meats are so flavorful and the selection of seafood and veggies is massive. The price is up there but I think it's worth it for the amount of food you get. Service is quick -from serving the meats to knowing when to change your grill. This location accepts reservations, unlike the other ones where it's first come first serve. Definitely handy if meeting up with friends for a group of 4 or more. We were a group of 10, and unfortunately some weren't on time; still they seated us but the 2hr time limit was ticking. Also Don't skip out on the crème brûlée or Melona at the end!!

*Food* I am always hesitant when it comes to 'all you can eat' restaurants, but this place was out of this world. We tried all the beef options, and ALL were so good that we had to reorder 3 or 4 times. The pork options were also amazing. My favorite pick was the miso beef brisket, along with the bibimbap. Super tasty! I'd give a 10/10 for everything i tried, i tried everything except the chicken there. *Service* Staff is super friendly and welcoming, they're fast and they're always wearing a smile. I'd definitely try the place again. *Atmosphere* The place is ALWAYS full, so you might have to wait in line. Make sure You're pretty hungry before you go there. Also, the price is so reasonable, and the food is worth every penny we paid.

We came here a few weeks ago for my friend’s birthday celebration. The place is fun when you come with few people. You need patience to cook you own food. I am not a fan of these type places but this restaurant was over all good, there was a bit of miscommunication with the wait staff but the girls were very nice.

Fantastic night Let me start with super super super awesome employee 👏 just wow Everyone should go to this place at least once. Loved it. Just remember you can't reserve under 6 people and then the waiting time to get a table is super long. Join the waitlist through yelp it's super helpful so you can manage your time with not wasting in line. And always carry your debit card or cash to pay for your food not sure why they don't accept credit cards we got lucky that we had our card with us. All in all fantastic experience, great, top quality of meats and drink and whatsoever in the menu.

We loved it! Went for the all you can eat dinner menu and that was so worth of money. Cost around $50 per person with tax but the menu comes with so many meat options. We ordered almost all of the options because we wanted to try all and see. The miso beef steak which was newly added and bibimbap were highlights. I’m a huge crème brûlée fan and that was really really good. The waiting time was quite long considering it was a Sunday. But they were really nice. Called me twice to apologize and update on waiting time and once we went there gave us on the house drinks as well. Jackey is who served us and he was super nice and attentive. We had a really nice time and would definitely try again.

Most recently went with a party of 16 people! The place, food and staff were great 👍 Miso steak was a bomb 💣 10/10. Stuffed ourselves so much that we walked for about half an hour before taking the ttc

I really like the quick service, and the overall quality of the food is good. The kimchi, bibimbap, and meat selection is standard. I think there are a couple more places in Toronto where you can get better quality meat for the same price.

Had dinner on a weekday with 12 friends. They were able to accommodate and seat us beside each other which is a plus for us. Food is great - lots of options for the meat. service is fast! Would recommend :)

The best all you can eat bbq, we had the dinner menu there are so many delicious options the beef, chicken, seafood are amazing, they have cold noodle and a really cute little bibimbap, and a lot of different side orders. they have the sweetest pineapple ever, you can’t get enough of it :) at the end you can get melona and crème brûlée. They have good cocktail and mocktail but they’re not included in the all you can eat menu. The service was also good however the wait list is really long .

dinner menu during lunch time. tried almost everything. All of them are tasty. While all the beef and pork are good, other memorable ones are salmon, ajilo, bibimbap, pineapple. Menu is not extensive but straightforward and covers all the things you might and might not expect, and none of them disappoints. It seems the current selection comes from years of experience, they left only most-demanded and truly popular delicious item. Very satisfying. Comfy seating, quick attentive service

It's expensive but worth it! You're almost definitely going to be waiting if you're going for dinner. Join the Yelp waitlist to save time. The selection of meats is *chefs kiss* amazing. I love that they slice the meat thin so it cooks faster. The cold noodles and bibimbap too are solid. Creme brule and melona for dessert (coconut or mango)

10/10 experience. Restaurant and restroom were very clean. We were greeted by very friendly hosts and our sever Rachel was amazing. She provided not only fast but excellent service. The speed at which the food came out was also incredible. Took only 5-10 minutes. Overall I’d recommend checking this location out.

It’s an all you can eat place aka buffet. The customer service was like 10/10. One recommendation for any newbie here is that the first thing you should do after you sit down at the table is to scan the QR code on the table to get access to the menu because about 2-3 minutes after you sit down there will be a server comes to you and ask you what you would like to order. You don’t have a lot of time to chill before ordering because you only have 2 hrs dining in (1h30’ only at lunch). There’s a big gap (-$10) between lunch and diner menu (diner starts after 3). I recommend not to order chicken at first because it gonna stick to the grill. You should always order beef first so the fat melt on then other food. Butter corn is good too and pls always order lettuce🙏🏼Lettuce helps us not be fed up with the smell of grill for a long time. They will serve water for free but not other drink. I highly recommend ssamjang as a dipping and kimchi as a side dish. I like all the food I order except the cold noodle and the seaweed soup (it kinda plain and has not taste) I love their bibimbap. The egg on the bibimbap will be half cook so if you want fully cooked egg you have to tell them at first when they ask you any allergy or when you order it you have to tell them you want a fully cooked egg. The crème brûlée is very good except the outside has so many sugar stick on it which made me uncomfortable because it so sticky. Overall it looks very nice and warm and chill. The price is high but it worths the experience.I

Very good deal for an all you can eat! The staff were all very nice and helpful, the service is quick too. I really recommend the pork belly and beef brisket. Their soda drinks are very good as well, the best we had are: ume, yuzu, and peach soda. It’s also nice they give you a melons by the end of the meal :) ご馳走様です!!

My cousins and I had a dinner last night. The restaurant and restroom are both clean. The staff is courteous and efficient. For a two-hour seating period, this is an all-you-can-eat restaurant. Fresh meat is provided. Dessert is also offered. The price is high, but the food is great. They also offer discount if you’re paying in cash. I highly recommended this restaurant.

Love coming here for their AYCE lunch option! If you don't mind a smaller selection of menu items, it's well worth the lower price tag. The staples, like short rib and beef brisket, are available during lunch. Dining is limited to 75 minutes. Remember to bring cash:)

My family had lunch today. The food is provided very quick after order. You just tell the server what you want, and the server will give to you soon. They deliver very excellent service. High efficient and friendly. I like the environment here, clean and neat.

The first time I was here was lunch time but we had the dinner option (you pay more but you get more food options), we had the lamb but for me it was stenchy. The creme brulee for dessert is good, the rest of the meat like all the beef are all good!! The Japanese girl who served us were kind and very accommodating, they will tell you as well the time limit and to wait for how many minutes to get the food as we were a lot. We gave them tips (cash) even when there is a service charge. This month I went here again and chose lunch, limited options like no salmon and other seafood like the clams, the server named “B” repeated a lot of times that we did not tip and there is no tip so when I saw him in the hallway, he didn’t smile at me but i did smile at him! Hahaha We did not tip because there is a service charge and we don’t really find him nice since the beginning, does not extend to get the plates instead he will ask you to get or reach it for him while you are cooking and eating. Bring cash because they don’t accept credit!

Really great experience, I loved Ajillo, Garlic Beef Brisket and Sweet Soy Brisket. The atmosphere is great as they already set up for Christmas. There is no forced tips and the service is great and definitely deserve tips. It is really popular so the line up would be a problem, they allow reservations for 6 people or more, less than 6 people, you could add yourself in yelp before coming, or just avoid the high peak time.

Almost all marinates are way too sweet. AYCE is only worth it if you actually can eat a lot lol. Seafood tastes okay-level fresh but again it takes careful cooking by yourself because they are easily over cooked. The Creme brûlée is the best past of the dinner. Waiter is super nice though and dishes are served fast.

Wednesday night definitely is busy night for their service. Lucas the manager is really caring, professional and keeps checking on us. I would honestly say if all the servers try to serve like him would get at least 25% every table. Besides, food quality is always great 👍 they added lots of veggies and starters options which is a bonus for a foodie who wants try everything :)

My husband and I love Gyubee! We’ve come to this location many times over the past year, and the food is always fresh, service is prompt, everything is clean, and we can eat all we want! The price can be quite steep, so we only go for lunch on days we know we can eat a lot. The marinade they use is generally on the sweeter side, just an FYI. I always just refill the sides like lettuce and kimchi to help balance things out. They recently added the pepper kalbi and miso marinated pork/steak (also on the sweet side), which I thought were great additions! Make sure you ask them to change the grill regularly, for quicker grilling and less smoking/burning. The grape soda is amazing here - tastes just like grape pollapo (Korean grape popsicle). I would also add that this place is not the most toddler-friendly, due to the open fire/grill in the middle of the table. It IS only $3 for kids 4 years and under though, so we may attempt bringing our kids later…but for now, we’ll just enjoy it ourselves.

The "front desk" made it clear there's a time limit once you are seated, which is 2 hrs. Once seated, you will get the menu from the QR code. Service was quick but there could be missing plates. The servers would come to the table quite efficiently and would change the grill for you without having to ask. I found today's servings were quite small and had to reorder multiple times. At the end of the meal, it felt quite rushed without being able to finish the dessert or drink and the server motioned us to pass dishes

  • 5/5 Simrat M. 9 months ago on Google
Delicious all you can eat Japanese BBQ. There was a wide variety of meats and options to choose from, all of which were delicious. The service was pretty quick and the food came out pretty quick as well. We never felt rushed or pressured and overall had a great time. Would definitely recommend if one is looking for an all you can eat bbq.

  • 5/5 Max C. 9 months ago on Google
10/10 would go again. The way in which the food is placed upon the grill quite accurately describes my experience at this location. I left with a huge smile on my face. Some of my favourite items were the Prime Kalbi beef and the Miso beef. The staff were very thoughtful as they constantly notified us of allergens in their selection as we had informed them that someone in our party had a peanut allergy. Make sure you plan ahead and check the Yelp wait list as wait times are usually long.

  • 5/5 Samantha L. 10 months ago on Google
A struggle to get off the waitlist here (will be at least an hour from when you put your name on) but well worth the wait. Be careful how much you order as you may end up with a lot that you can’t eat and be forcing yourself to eat it at the end. Overall great food and dessert options too!

  • 5/5 Oğuz A. 10 months ago on Google
We dined here at the evening. The food was plentiful, good quality, it was a nice atmosphere, wonderful decor and great service. The wait times are long in the evening. We were on the waitlist for around 45 minutes. All in all, I had a wonderful time here. It is a bit pricey though, so be ready to fork over some dough.
