Mixed review. The food was just awesome. Really tasty and mouth-watering and spicy for sure. There was good area parking available on the meter right outside the restaurant. Quantity of the food is just right. The atmosphere was a little too crowded. Lineups are huge we had a 45-minute wait time on a Saturday. They don't take reservations. A little too small for a restaurant. The service was fast they would bring food out very quickly but the only thing odd we found as soon as you finish your plate they would come to say "Would you like a bill" basically like get out of here if you're done eating. And we observed that we 3 different tables. It's like they want people to enjoy the food and time they just want them to eat and get the H out of there. I would recommend the food but not the service or dining in.

The food was super delicious. We tried two different kinds of momo, the noodles & chilli fries. They were all tasty. The host was super-polite and accommodating. Must try Bombay Masala Momos, they are the best. We highly recommend this restaurant to everyone who wants to try the Tibetan Himalayan cuisine.

Large portions, tasty food, quaint spot in town! The momos were fantastic and there were so many flavour options! The curry fish was also very good! Please note, this spot is small so during popular times there are lines but they serve things up pretty fast. No air conditioning but the food is worth it!

We wanted to visit this place since a long time and finally we did it yesterday....this place actually reminded me of India. The taste is exact what you will find in India.... Every dish we tried, had such a authentic flavour just to yum. Also they have not overdone anything. Definitely visiting again.Must try.

The food is delicious, flavorful and on the more expensive side. Overall the staff were friendly, helpful and kind. The food was flavourful and well-proportioned. However, the momos were not for me as it wasn't as flavourful as the other dishes and a bit too oil-heavy. This place is a must-try! Full Review: For starters, we got the Honey Chili Fries, which were delicious and would be a 10/10 if it was spicier. Then we had to try the Momo’s, and the steamed beef was okay and juicy. The sauces were excellent and spicy. I felt the same with the creamy Szechuan chicken, nothing too different with these other than the creamy spicy flavours which honestly the spice might've been an overkill. Would have loved to have more creaminess to it. Lastly, the vegetable Chow Mein is amazing! Now this was well seasoned and a solid 10/10.

Went with my friend’s group, lots of variety. Taste is delicious. We had steam momos, tandoori momoz, honey chili potatoes, veggie noodle, gobi manchurian masala soda and masala coke. Worth ordering all these items and best quality in genuine price. I would definitely visit again and recommended to others to visit who are momoz and Chinese lover.

Hidden gem of Toronto. Good portion and taste. We ordered Himalayan chow mein, lollipop chicken and momos and loved all of them. Will definitely come back for more.

When they say extra spicy they mean it! I picked up some of their momos and chow mein for takeout with my bestie. The portions were quite large and enough for us to have leftovers for the next day. We got the Malai Masala momos with chicken (extra spicy), the regular steamed beef momos and the special chow mein with beef. The momos were filled with meat and very flavourful. The malai momos came in a rich spicy sauce and were our favourite overall. My one critique would be that I wished the dough on the momos was rolled a little thinner but overall still great! The special chow mein was definitely special as well! It had a great flavour and wasn’t like your regular chow mein you’d get from a hakka spot. I’d come back for the noodles and to try the other momos on the menu.

Really enjoyed going there for momo and food there! We order only 2 main+deep fried bread and a yummy drink, was still a lot left at the end! Really good 😊 quantity of food, need to go back to try more flavours for sure!

I just love their momos but rest of the stuff is stale and not very tasty. It takes long time to place an order due to covid line up but also the two girls in front office babita and the other one - so inefficient and slow. They never understand order at once.

Had to wait 40 minutes since we had a party of 6, but all the food was so delicious! We were stuffed and the flavors were so strong too. I think the honey chili fries were my favorite!

Visited the place with family today and feel really worth a visit. The place is usually busy as there are limited space available for dine-in. We really enjoyed the food and really like the place. Staff is very courteous and helpful. Here is my food list: Veg noodles ***** Fried rice ***** Gobhi Manchurian ***** Delhi Masala Momo ***** Chicken Fried momo ***** Virgin mojitos ***** The restaurant is accessible but the washroom is located in the basement so it will be difficult for old people and people with limited accessibility. Although toilet is clean.

The food is great, a must try in the city. They were the best momos I’ve had downtown. There is a reason why this location is so packed. Their rice is fragrant and their sauce is seasoned strongly, which helps with the taste of the momos - having thicker flour encasings. For this reason, I always order a side of rice, and I love that pairing. I agree that this isn’t a location to relax in. It is quite busy so it would only be polite to eat then leave. But the atmosphere is otherwise quite nice; a typical hole in the wall, and the service is fast - which is appreciated.

Good small joint .. but you will get authentic nepalis and indo-chinese food here. Momos are good but not up to my expectation . The Most delicious dish i found was tandoori soya chaap .. must try. Gobi manchurian was really good and better than other places. Staff is so humble and ready to help always . The food service was really quick . Worth a visit for sure.

Have been at this location multiple times, the taste and food quality are great as compared to other restaurants, the service is good and quick. The restaurant is pretty busy so be prepared to wait for 30 mins in some cases when you visit in the later evening.

One of the best momos in Toronto hands down. I was unable to order online and didn't have their number, so I went to the store and they told me to come back after 40 minutes and after exactly 40 minutes, they had the order. Fantastic service. The chili chicken here is amazing, perfect amount of sear and spiciness. Overall a 10/10. Would definitely recommend.

We have tried a lot of dishes here and each and every one of it was worth it! I've been here thrice and would definitely visit again! Momos we had: 1. Kurkure Momos 2. Tandoori Momos 3. Manchurian Momos 4. Crispy Chilli Momos Apart from Momos, we had Gobi Manchurian, Paneer Manchurian, Super Chilli fries, Vegetarian Chow Mein and Mango lassi. The portion size is good. Everything was mind blowing! Would definitely recommend this place!

I gave 4 starts only because they have called someone before us even we were waiting and server told me write your number and she’ll call us but we sat inside our car and another couple walked after us and they we’re waiting too but right outside the restaurant and server came out and called them to sit out without calling us and when she saw us I can see the guilt in her face, Food is good server hot and fast wood like to recommend friends but I would like if they keep up their customer service.

Best Momos in Toronto! The service was quick seeing how busy these people are. Ordered veggie, chicken and beef momos and all were really tasty! This is the place if you’re craving for Momos. Authentic Indian taste. And yeah they also do very good indo Chinese food like Hakka type. That girl at reception is really a hard worker ! 👍🏻

Located in Little Tibet on Queen St. W. Place was easy to reach. The Tibetan meals were flavourful, esp. the honey chili chicken. The momos were quite big and juicy. Do try the beef Himalayan Noodles, some good stuff. Some dishes had the rice on the side. For about +- $15 per meal, they were a great deal for first timers.

I had the pleasure of dining at Himalayan Kitchen, and I must say, the food was absolutely amazing! I loved every bite, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a culinary adventure. Worst experience and taste.... Not at all Tibetian chinese taste, food was bland and undercooked. To simply put it just tasted bad. Its completely Over-hyped.....would never even dare to re-try or recommend. There are much better options like 100 times better restaurants on the same street within 5 mins walk.

Good value, atmosphere nothing special, service was a bit slow (25min wait to eat in after ordering). Food can be a bit salty, but super flavorful!! Their spice is on point. Recommend the Thali

The hype took me to this place. Tried the chilli chicken momos, chilli chicken gravy, chicken fried rice, and veg. chowmein. Momo's were the only good thing about the meal, the chilli sauce in chilli chicken and momo's had too much cornstarch that made me feel sick right after the meal. It appeared as if it contained gelatine. Super thick consistency, would look plasticky if left uncovered for sometime. Especially with Covid all around no one would want to pay to get sick. Would never return or recommend.

I spotted Himalayan Kitchen on Google Maps while visiting Toronto. After loving my first experience eating momos earlier this year and seeing how good the reviews were for this place, I knew I had to pay a visit. They have a variety of momos, including steamed, fried, and even specialty ones like the Delhi Masala Momo. Personally, I still prefer the traditional steamed momos, but they were all excellent.

i would advise everyone to order ahead because they took 1 hour to give me my order. the customer at the door should be given preference since they are there waiting for the order rather than someone who ordered from the comfort of their home.

A must visit place for the food lovers. If you are a person who loves to try food with lots of flavours. The food open all the taste buds and the place can have all the stars for sure. We waited for 45min-1h to get a seat. But truly worth the wait. The service was super fast. This is not a place you can go out and enjoy the time hanging out with your loved ones. This is a place you just go for the good food. Servers were really nice and helped us to get the best items from the menu. We tried the Delhi Masala Momo, Pork Chili and Himalayan Kitchen Special Chow Mein. The pork chili comes with white rice as well. All the dishes were top notch. We were 2 people and we had more than enough food. The portion sizes were great. I think the Momo and the Pork chili would have been more than enough for 2 of us. I would definitely visit them again with friends and family as i want everyone to try this place.

Great spot to get some tasty Momos at! My wife and I got these for takeout and we were pleasantly surprised with the spiciness level and the flavours. We ordered their recommended "Chicken Malai Masala Momo", "Steamed Beef Momo", & "Special Chow Mein". The steamed beef Momo was a clean simple taste nothing too special but hits the spot as well. The Malai Masala Momo tasted amazing and the flavours were nice and rich, we asked for extra spicy and got exactly what we asked for! The chow mein was definitely the star in my opinion, the flavours weren't that of the typical chow mein you get from Chinese restaurants but were slightly different and in my opinion was better. I will definitely order these dishes again. Two flaws I have, is that I wish the Momo skins were slightly thinner as I found the skin a bit too hard and thick, and the Malai Masala Momo was definitely very very heavy so keep that in mind! Flavour wise these were great. Also, their red hot sauce that they provide is very hot and very good. I enjoyed their hot sauce a lot and even kept the extra ones for a completely different meal the next day! Overall the food was a great bang for your buck! Try it out!

as a first-timer experiencing Indian cuisine, I must say it was an absolute delight! The combination of delectable flavors, fair prices, and exceptional service left a lasting impression on me. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted warmly by the friendly staff, creating a welcoming and inviting atmosphere. The ambiance was tastefully decorated with vibrant colors and Indian-inspired motifs, setting the stage for an authentic dining experience. Now, let's talk about the food. Oh, the food! Every dish I tried was a flavor-packed revelation that had me eagerly reaching for more. The menu offered a wide variety of options, but I couldn't resist indulging in their famous "Veggie Masala" and "Chilli Potatoes." The perfectly balanced blend of spices in the dishes showcased the true essence of Indian cuisine, leaving my taste buds dancing with joy. One dish that truly stood out was the "Tofu Tikka." The tofu was incredibly tender and marinated in a mouthwatering mix of aromatic spices, making each bite an explosion of flavors. It was a delightful surprise for someone like me, who isn't typically a fan of tofu. I highly recommend giving it a try, even if you're not a tofu enthusiast. The delightful blend of flavors, affordable prices, and attentive service left me craving more. Whether you're a seasoned fan of Indian cuisine or a curious newcomer like myself

This is some amazing food in Toronto. Their momos are to die for, and the chow mien was brilliant. Another great thing about this place is their quantity. You will never be disappointed.

Food is very good. I came in september with my friend and we loved the food. But as it is quite expensive and quite less people to sit and if there's more customers then, you'll need to wait. Unfortunately we didn't wait. But as you'll meet the expectation, you'll be satisfied.

  • 5/5 Michael M. 8 months ago on Google
I have been meaning to check out this place for a long time and man did it meet my expectations and then some. The chilli fries are top notch, the butter chicken momos were delicious, and some goes with the fried rice. My only gripe was with the masala coke, not my cup of tea. Overall, a great place to eat and will definitely be back!

Love love love the food in this place. Waited 20 mins in -10°c to get seated, food definitely is worth the wait. Malai momos are the bestt, i dont have words to explain how good creamy schezwan panner is. Have gone there multiple times and taste is very consistent. Each item on menu tastes different and everything we tried so far is absolutely great. This place feel like mini little food heaven in Toronto.

Loved the food at this restaurant. We had the vegetarian thali, which can be requested to be made vegan, and it was delicious. Also, the sizzling veg tandoori momos were flavourful. Would visit again!

Loved this restaurant: the portions were big, food was delicious, prices were affordable, and the service was great! I tried the Malai chicken, Chow Mein, chefs special masala momos, and mango Lassi. Couldn't even finish half of the food with two people so it's worth it. Incredibly delicious and you can customize the spice level (the server asks when you order). I would definitely come back to try the rest of the menu.

Not gonna lie ,it's a small restaurant with a limited number of seats and the service was average but (there is the big but!) the amazing varieties of tibetan momos stole our hearts. I think this is the first time in a very long time, me and my foodie group loved this momo restaurant. Every dish was spectacular.!! Hands down! From the best delicious voting list from them , we would say no.1 is their Tandoori masala momo!! Pretty sure they are mixing drugs in this dish !! How can it be so flavorful!!? Now I am an addict!!

It was My Birthday dinner that we went there for along with my family friends…Firstly they don’t accept Table Reservations on phone, Two is when you are at the Restaurant they keep giving a Standard 20 mins wait and even after a 40 mins actual waiting the server will tell you 20 mins again…There isn’t a Proper Hostess who is managing the table and bookings so that was a total turn off for me to begin. But the later part was amazing, as the Server (sorry to miss out on his name) was informative about the menu and did suggestive selling also…The food ordered by us was given in quick session and Super Duper Tasty…10 on 10 for it…Food was Simply Amazing so the wait was Worth it….Must Try is their Special Fried Rice😘

Chicken lollipop is a must try dish when you are here. Tandoori momos we’re very delicious and is one of my best picks. This place is very crowded and wait times are around 30mins often.

We got jhol momo and chili momo, the jhol momo sauce tasted good however momo itself wasn’t that tasty, the service I would give like a 2 they need to work on their customer service. No one really came and check up on us. But I would say the momos were decent as a Nepali.

  • 4/5 Darshan S. 5 months ago on Google
To be fair Quality of food was overhyped or may be it was weekend so they didn't put much efforts. Ordered Mango Lassi but it was more like Mango buttermilk. There were various variations of momos which tastes almost similar. (4 people - 3 momos plate, 1 honey chilly potato - 64$)

I’ve heard there might be queue outside so ordered their famous Honey Chili Fries and Steamed Chicken Momo through Uber Eats, and still reasonably price yet very generous portion sizes. Their Momo is stuffed perfectly, and hot sauce coming with is stunning. When it comes to Honey Chili Fries, we predicted that it’d be getting soggy while delivering but I also felt a bit tasteless though it’s soaked in red sauce completely. We ordered extra hot sauce in this case but what’s worse was they forgot to put it in a bag. I’ll try the fries in a restaurant next time.

Fancy Tibetan food? This is the restaurant which won’t let you down! Amazing food, good quality, v nice staff but if you are to dine in, you’ll have to wait 20-25 minutes minimum on weekends as it’s v famous and also a tiny restaurant but the owner should work towards it.

Food is good, no issues there, but not sure if it's due to being understaffed or what, my orders have been messed up twice now. Both times called ahead 30 mins to place the order and confirmed it. Had to wait another 20 mins (it was a bit busy so understandable). But again they messed up my order. Instead of 3 dishes that I ordered I was only provided with 2. As the wait was long, had to leave with just two items instead.

Pathetic experience with Himalaya Kitchen. I am jain and pure vegetarian. I ordered 3 veg dishes as attached and expected the same. Instead I got I chicken dish which I didn’t order and accidentally my friend who is pure vegetarian had eaten one piece and then realized the dish. They have terribly hurt the religious sentiments and are very upset with all the episode.

Honestly, the best momos I've ever had in my life. My rating is not for the food, it's for the over all experience. Food wise I would give this 1000 stars if I could however, I was told that this place is halal by staff. Every time I have come, they have told me that the meat is halal. I sent my friends to this restaurant & upon arriving, they asked if it was halal & the man said no. I called once again to ask if it was halal because I was in disbelief, they always told me it was. Turns out none of the meat that is served is halal. It deeply upset me because I don't need a certificate proof, I just would appreciate honesty. A message to the owner, please make your meat halal. I'm a regular customer & write a halal food blog. You would have a lot more traffic if you did. Please please please consider it. You lost a regular customer :(

What do I say. It's perfect. So many options to choose for your Momo's. They are always busy, so calling in for ordering atleast 40-45 min is highly recommended.

This place is elegant with an awesome vibe. I went for dinner with my friends and the food was amazing. The service was speedy and friendly. Their variety of momos are absolutely incredible! No doubt this is one of my favorite spots for Nepalese Cuisine. Highly recommended 💯

As a vegetarian in Canada, finding good vegetarian food is a struggle. I'm so delighted to have found this place. Absolutely loved the tandoori momos, took us back to Delhi. Totally worth the money. Definitely coming here again!

Yummy food but busy restaurant so order in advance or avoid peak hours!! Staff is polite. Also limited space to sit so plan accordingly. Street paid parking depends upon availability!

The Best momo place in GTA. Our friends recommended us this place for momos. It was our first time checking out this place and we loved it. They have variety of momos with both options dry & gravy. We ordered Crispy Chilli, Delhi Masala, Tandoori momo and Himalayan Special Noodles. We are vegetarian and so as the food. Everything was super delicious 😋. Staff is very friendly and customize order where they can. Since the place is very popular, there is a long wait to get seated. We waited roughly 1.5 hours. They don't take reservations in advance. So be prepared to wait. And, it's worth the wait.

Cute restaurant in Tibetan village with tasty Nepalese, Tibetan and Indian inspired food. Small restaurant that has both booth and table seating. Prompt service. Had the Chow mein that is a little spicy, well covered in sauce with vegetables, has a choice of adding meat. Can get spicy after eating for a few bowls. Also had the vegetarian thali so I could try a few different dishes. Small yet well spiced, could be a good starter or shared dish. Food mate had the chicken, which they reported as good, well cooked and spiced well. Can have any of the dishes with different levels of spice. Cost is $15-$20 depending on dish. Small restaurant, probably might need to wait if it's a busy night, but worth it and be careful of the spice level if you can't take it.

Best Indian style momos. Have tried pan friend chicken momos, steam chicken momos, chilly chicken with bathura. All taste the same whenever we visit.

Absolutely yumm momo's, have tried almost all of them, steamed, gravy, fried and green and liked each of them. Have had their honey chilli fries, noodles and they were absolutely delicious. During non covid times, they used to give small guava candies after the food, which again, was oh so good. Hope you start giving those for take out and deliveries too :D

Not recommended during covid times. Long wait... and had to wait outside(Which was Ok) but employees do not bother to even ask you about your order. Had to finally cancel the order after waiting for 40 minutes for just a 10$ order.
