    Rude staff! The lady I was talking to was very unpleasant. From when I first walked into the store, I was not greeted and I had to walk up to her, she did not even make eye contact with me or ask if I needed help with anything. I then proceed to ask her if she has a certain piece of jewelry (showed her a picture on my phone) and she says no we do not have that. That’s it. She did not recommend me any necklaces that were similar so I had to ask. When I was cashing out with her I made a small error with my card and she seemed annoyed. If you can’t be nice and make customers feel welcome, you should not be working in customer service. Overall, very unpleasant experience; I did not feel valued as a customer at all and I will not be returning.

    I Stood inside the store 10 minutes awaiting assistance. I asked a sales associate for the price of 2 items in the display. She tells me the other associate has the keys and to wait for her. I did. Another gentleman walks in to same 1st associate, to which she told him to wait for the other one as well. The keyholding associate was busy boxing up an item to put back in the inventory below the display case. When she finishes, she asks the w---e man how she can help. He actually points to me to tell her that I'm actually next. I thank him and proceed to ask the price of the 2 items. She looks at me like I'm bothering her. She says she knows the prices but she's new. I say ok. Can I see the ring. She makes a face. The man looks a lil worried. I tell her not to bother.. Clearly she didn't want to be bothered with me. So I left the store. I'll order online instead..I really wanted that ring, plus an earring for my son.. however, she has decided that I shouldn't get it from her store with her attitude. Not spending my money to let her get any kind of sakes credit.

    As always professional helpful and knowledgeable. They carried exactly what I was looking for. I must say I was very lucky to have gotten a January savings too! I loved that they carried plushy stuffed animals so you could make a donation to sick kids. Such a caring company. We are very lucky

    I was shopping for a ring. A lady showed me a few options. Mind you, a bit aggressively pushing me to purchase one, while giving me all these "sales" . I am familiar with the average prices, so these sales looked fake to me. She would say the original price, which was too high, but there is a sale on top of the sale, and look, it's your style, and the SALE, you should take it!!... Ether way, I wasn't sure if I liked the rings she showed me, thus saying I will think about it. As I continued to thank her for helping me, she just shut down, the minute she realised I wasn't gonna buy a ring. I was thanking her, but she was just staring at her papers, as I didn't exist. :) I offended her or something? Rude! I don't think I will go back to this location, or the Peoples Jewellers.

    I’m sorry I didn’t take note of the names of the gentleman and woman that helped me - had lost one of the threaded butterflies for a pair of diamond studs I bought a number of years ago in the States and was looking to buy a replacement butterfly. They were both amazing to deal with! (Visit was on Dec.12th about 5PM) asked what the charge was and they said, if I like, I could make a donation to Sick Kids but there was no charge….and he even cleaned not only the earrings but my diamond rings as well! As I was meeting family for dinner at the Pickle Barrel close by, I purchased the Sick Kids stuffed animal as well as making a separate donation….the very least I could do in exchange for the awesome service I received! Well done, Peoples of Sherway Gardens!

    Their staff is Not as friendly as other outlets have. Everytime I go transaction seems too clinical and they don’t make an effort to show you options or introduce you to their new designs or anything. I prefer going to the store in outlet mall just for the customer service

    I went to People’s Jewellers Sherway with my husband a week before Christmas to buy wedding rings and an engagement ring. We were helped by a very nice lady, Catalina. She was very helpful and informative. She gave me good advice in choosing the right ring. I was not able to get something that day but I ended up buying online and having it delivered to this store. Today December 29, 2023 at 5:00PM we went back to pick it up. Store was not busy and there were 5 people working and one customer. The older female and older male kept on going with each other who must help us, while they’re both not doing anything. This made us uncomfortable like we were there to bother them. The older male looked annoyed to be bothered. He went to ask if I have an ID. I gave a Canadian Passport and he made a comment on why I don’t have a driver’s license and rolled his eyes. I told him I don’t drive and he left with my passport without a word. He did not come back to help but Shantelle (not sure if that’s the correct spelling) who was with a customer came back with my passport and my order. Shantelle was very pleasant to talk to. I hope this store has more employees like Catalina and Shantelle who are always willing to help. If I come back here, I hope I will not have to deal with the lazy older female and rude older male. In my opinion, they should retire instead of going to work and pretend to work to get paid.

    Bought a tennis necklace online 1 year and half ago ( lab create sapphire) and it broke two times . Brought it to the Sherway G location and Octavia helped me. This lady is just what represents excellence in customer service, she went above and beyond to not only help me to exchange the item for another one, but also making sure I was completely satisfied with my new item. I will always come and will deal with her, she offers a kind of service that is dying, the one where the customer feels special and cared for. My greatest appreciation to you Octavia! A plus

    I felt completely discredited, discarded & it was the worst experience I had with your sales rep Eva & her manager Oktavia at the Sherway Garden Mall locations. I have never had this kind of experience were a manager who trains & share her vision & company values with her staffs, accepts & empowers her staffs to degrade a client by humiliating a them base on how they are dressed or dressed down, a racial impression of an Asian person who want to return & purchase additional items more the original cost of the return item made feel discriminated in so many different levels: discriminated in financial value base on appearance, discriminated base on my origin and not treated as a valued customer and discriminated and degraded as a human being. To all consumers please thing twice on the items you buy, nor the policy & buyers be aware. I went to Peoples Jewellers to do a return value at at $2,693.00 plus tax at one of their diamond events held annually. I had advised the sale rep Eva that I am doing a return & use the credit to buy additional items of same value or more because I have three – four items I want to purchase for the day. Eva reviewed the receipt, she advises me she can’t help me cuz it past the 30 days’ timeframe for any returns. I advise Eva that I was told I can do my return and buy something of same value or more by another store. Eva approached her Manager Oktavia, who is with another customer. The manager looked at me & response across the store in a loud voice (broadcasting my situation loud enough for every customer to hear) "we can't help you, policy is policy." I said to the manager Oktavia, I want to talk to you when you’re done with your client if that's ok, I don't want to take your time away from this gentleman. Oktavia repeated in a loud voice "Policy is policy, go back to the store that offered that information to you." I spoke to People Customer Service Jennifer who is excellent, empathetic on my concerns & experience at the retail level, she tried to called the store several times but no one answer. So, Jennifer and I came up with an alternative to buy a loose diamond & mount it on the ring. I was content with the policy explanation Jennifer provided on a business perspective but not happy with the customer relations on a retail level. So, I went back to the store (Sherway Garden Mall) with Jennifer on the phone to help me process my inquiry. I went back to the sales rep Eva, she panic, shook her head & said "I can't help you, only the manager can." I advise Eva, this is different request & I have Jennifer on my phone wanting to talk to an sales rep, again Eva irritate, "I can't help you talk to the manager." I advise Jennifer the manager is with a client (a couple) looking at an engagement. A sales rep Raj, who was polite, a gentleman willing to help me. But when the manager Oktavia notice Raj was engaging with me, she again repeated in front of her customer (the couple) in a loud voice & state "I told you we can't help you, policy is policy" I was upset & angry at the manager's constant rejections & humiliations and said to her in angry tone, it's a different request, please focus on your client & the manager Oktavia, mumbled in her voice to her client within earshot about my case "She wants to return something that is past the return date." I ignore her & walk away with sale rep Raj & advise him that People Customer Service is on the phone & would like to talk to a sales rep about my request on a different matter. Raj politely said ok and spoke to Jennifer. Base on this experience, To all consumers please thing twice on the items you buy, know the store policy & buyers be aware.

    Had an amazing experience at Peoples Jewellers Sherway today. I needed to shorten my chain and Octavia helped me to add a warranty which would cover the shortening, provide lifetime coverage for future repairs and would cost less than paying for the work separately. Octavia was funny, warm and sincere. She genuinely loves helping people. Each time and every location I’ve been to I’ve gotten great service at Peoples!

    Visited the store today to buy Diamond ring that I liked online but was not sure of my size. We were greeted by Nataliya. She is an excellent lady. We had Great experience as Nataliya took the time to explain every detail. She was so sweet and didn’t rush us as I was not sure which one to buy. Totally Amazing experience! Thank you Nataliya!

    Just left the People's at Sherway Gardens and I can't describe how happy I am with their service and professionalism. Both Danka and Octavia were very knowledgeable and patient answering all my questions. I walked out excited with a new ring on my finger. I would highly recommend them.

    I just want to express how wonderful and very professional service Danika and Nataliya delivered when I purchased an engagement ring. It’s not an easy decision but those two ladies were extremely helpful with their knowledge, and sincere honesty. I would recommend this location if you really want quality and professional service.     Came here after Peel re-opened stores for a warranty replacement of broken necklace. The line was about 3 people on a Sunday but it took quite some time to get in, I waited about 35-40 minutes. An associate named Pushp apologized for the wait and went out of his way to assist me so I wouldn't have to come back to the store again to line up at a later date. He was friendly and very helpful and it was only for a free warranty replacement! Fantastic service, would definitely recommend him. I imagine the service when making aa purchase would be top notch.

    Best People's store of the many I have been to. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Clean, easy to access store, with lots of choice. Prices can be a tiny bit high, but their sales and clearances are usually very good.

    Took three months in 2018 to size down my ring. Eventually leading to the store having to fully replace due to diamonds continuously popping out. Would not recommend.

    Went in with my mom to buy a diamond ring. I think it was Raj who helped us out and he was excellent. Very helpful and very pleasant. However, they had to ship the ring out for repair (sizing) and... lost it. They did give us a full refund in the end without any issue, but still very disappointing. Be careful if you are doing repairs with these guys.

    My husband purchased a gold bracelet. Within 2 months it has broken. They do not stand by their product. You must purchase that piece of mind separately. What ever happened to warranty from the store. PEOPLE'S DOESN'T STAND BY THEIR PRODUCTs

    We are long time patrons of the People’s Jewellery Store located inside the Sherway Mall. We have enjoyed their varied selection of all price points of quality jewellery. Today we were purchasing a Mothers Day related gift, when a price discrepancy was identified. The Store Manager (Octavia) took immediate control of the matter, greeted us as valued returning customers, and went above and beyond to make sure that we were totally satisfied with the resolution. True customer service like this is so very rare these days, that where it does still exist, it has to be shared so that others that value this five star service, can go a little out of their way if needed, to shop there and receive the same wonderful experience. The best part of the whole interaction was the Managers genuine concern for our issue, and her obvious commitment to customer service excellence. On a personal note, let us say thank you again to Octavia and her fabulous team. KB

    Today I visited the CF Sherway Gardens (25 the west mall) store for some purpose. The staffs were extremely helpful. They talked over phone and guided very well , then made an appointment to visit in person to get the job done. It took only 10 minutes to solve the issue and they properly explained the whole thing. They are maintaining the store hygiene very well. They sprayed disinfectant on everything after every customer left the store. All the staffs were wearing gloves and face masks. The staffs are really well mannered and helpful. I would love to visit this store again.

    Great experience at people's in sherway. Nataliya is a gem and they're lucky to have her. I was looking for a promise ring for my significant other and Nataliya took the time to explain every detail from the quality, cut and color of what I was looking. She's was polite and listened to my needs. Didn't rush me, and devoted a lot of time. Amazing service. I will be back.
