First time selling gold, so was a little nervous that I wouldn't get ripped off. My experience was so professional, friendly and transparent. Prices were very fair. Keep up the high standard!

I had a visit to this store today near Christie. Store is good and secured. However, they quoted a price for a gold coin and them bumped it up by $20 while billing. They changed the price of the coin and argued saying they never told that price. Their website also showed the price which was told earlier but they argued saying we have to take in bulk for that price. Tommy the store person who is very talkative and try to confuse you a lot. Be very careful while visiting this store, avoid if you have another option. Only plus point is they are open on Saturday. Again be careful.

Toronto Gold is trustworthy and fair. We had an issue with one ring that assayed less than the stamped purity, 12 k vs 14k. After some discussion with the jeweller who originally sold it to me, we asked Tommy at Toronto Gold to re-run the test. Tommy obliged, and provided photographs and a video of the new testing which was passed on to the jeweller and the original manufacturer. Because I am a scientist with extensive knowledge of assaying and testing from a world-leading geoscience laboratory, I was confident that Tommy was accurate. The original manufacturer later contacted me and we resolved the issue to my satisfaction. I am absolutely certain that Tommy and Toronto Gold are quite legit and very fair. There are many others that would take advantage of an uninformed customer but this business is not one of them. Point of fact, Asahi Gold Refiners (formerly Johnson-Matthey), with whom I dealt with in the past, actually recommended Toronto Gold to me. And finally, I drove well over 400 km round-trip to do business with them after researching the most reliable and honest place to do business with.

Liars, they don't buy average coins as advertised. See the pics of normal average coins? Yep, false advertising! They supposedly only buy "gold coins". My reply to yours: Nobody was hostile towards you. Nor did you state the information you claim.... Also, you can change your own website at any time you wish to suit your needs and stated you should probably do so when we spoke... And don't worry, I would never come back to try to do any further business with the likes of you... Grow up and drop the victim card playing. Just be honest!

I googled a place in Toronto to buy my gold billions with good service and price. I chose Toronto Gold as they quoted me a decent price. I had two very successful visits to Toronto Gold. I felt that the price they paid was fair and honest. Tommy was very friendly and explained the entire process in great detail. After evaluating my metal there was no pressure to sell; in fact he suggested I check other buyers before making a decision. I had already done that, so was confident that Toronto Gold was offering a fair price. Their website is full of helpful information and includes current buying prices, so I knew roughly the value of my gold going in. This really helped make the decision easier, as I knew in advance what I would get. I was good with that figure ahead of time, so the actual sale was pretty easy. I had never sold precious metals before, and had heard some pretty sketchy stories about some on the things that can happen. Low-ball offers that go up when you walk out, offering only scrap value for coins that are worth more than that. There was no hint of that at Toronto Gold. I felt good about the experience and recommend them if you are selling gold that only has scrap/bullion value. I sold my scrap and coins that had been appraised elsewhere at gold-value only, and it was a positive transaction.

I came to sell gold jewellery today. Before I came to toronto gold. I checked some jewellery stores around downtown, and toronto gold seem to have the best price. Tommy was honest and very professional. I have a diamond ring that is under 0.3 karats that he explained they are not able to buy and recommended I keep because it has sentimental value for me. I appreciate his help. I will come back again next week to sell more gold and silver jewellery. They also have 2 more locations in Mississauga and Hamilton.

I have visited both locations (Mississauga & Toronto) and both are very professional, you are able to make your own appointments online whenever it is convenient for you. You are buzzed in by security and greeted immediately which is nice. Visit does not take more than 15 min and you are done. I should mention the office is spotless, I guess to me that is important. They offered 70% of spot on the gold, which is a rip off. They claimed ring is 79% gold or 19k and not the stamped value of 22k. This is possible but I could not see the reading on XRF machine to prove that the gold jewelery is lower than stamped grade. Don't sell gold to anyone who will offer any less than 90% of spot value. You should be able to get 93-7% in best honest places. 70% is a rip off. Going to get a second opinion on a diamond in the ring which they tested as not diamond, but would not say what stone it was. UPDATE I went to 2 other gold buyers in Toronto. The ring Tested solid 22k on XRF and I was offered 90% or more on the gold content. This place is a rip off.
