The store is very unique and beautiful. The staff are kind and helpful. The decorations are well made and well placed. But unfortunately, the shopping experience is beyond disappointing and unpleasant. The products are a little bit pricey considering the lack of quality, and to add insult to injury, the description on them have little to no English, only Japanese and all sales are final as well, so no returns or exchanges. The variety of products are also somewhat disappointing since based on their advertising, it looks like its a Japanese dollarama. I went there a few weeks back and that day was insanely hot, so I was looking forward to entering a store with a nice chill atmosphere with maybe a nice breeze, then I was surprised to experience a heat warmer than outside. I literally felt like it was colder outside on a day with heat warning. Fun fact, in the drinks section they have almost every type of drink but not a basic water bottle. To sum it up, I would say dont be deceived by the good looks, and definitely dont go there in the summer.

Oomomo Japan Living is my favourite shop. I was able to get most household items in one stop. They carried many special items from Japan that I could not find at other dollar stores. The price was reasonable and affordable. Most products were good quality too. This location was very spacious and people could keep a good social distance when shopping. The staff were helpful and friendly. The only thing we need to be careful when buying from here is to decide and check our purchase carefully. Everything is finally sale so no exchange or refund is allowed.

This is my favorite store. It's Japanese dollar store but of course not dollar. Because, it's import from Japan. And even Dollarama also not dollar now. Anyway, it's $2.50 and $2.75 are minimum price. They have Richmond Hill location too. But, I like this store more than Richmond Hill. Because, this one is more products. I'll be back again!

Our first time at this store and it's cute with tons of stuff but since we don't live in Markham, we really don't need a lot of the stuff they offer. Tons and tons of stuff to look at from face mask to gardening to arts and crafts to kitchenware. Prices are not cheap though but you can find lots of cool Japanese essentials and more.

Always my go to place for stuff for kids, home stuff like sponges and cleaning tools and facial masks. They have tons of face masks to choose from, I always pick different ones to try. They recently added some new Korean skincare like The Lab and Alive, which is amazing. They never advertised their store as a dollar store so I don’t know why people keep thinking it is a Japanese dollar store. Like Dollarama isn’t even a dollar store anyway. I would say most items are under $2.50 which is extremely affordable for stuff from Japan! Not sure why people are still going to Dollarama! Come to this place!

Every time I travel to Canada I come to this store to buy some housewares and toys for my 2 kids. 2 days ago, my daughter lost her eyeglasses in the store when she was too excited and running around the store. We reported it to the front desk and the clerks were so nice to help us to look around the store. But they did not find it at that moment. The clerk asked us to come back the next day to check again. Yesterday we walked into the store again, and they found the eyeglasses and kept it nicely in a bag. Wow... We are so lucky, and my daughter was so happy to have her eyeglasses back. I really appreciated all the clerks help here.

An amazing and unique store filled with Japanese style goods! The staff are all very friendly. A girl named Kelly helped me find what I needed and was very thorough while she explained the products to help me find exactly what I needed. Overall an amazing shopping experience!

Oomomo is that place that brings joy to people. Just walking around and browsing what they have is a lot of fun. You can really find all kind of useful items for your household, home office, kids and kitchen. We also love their snack section. The place is clean and organized but can be hard at times to find the thing you need. The staff are nice and helpful.

A nice shop selling Japanese products . The place is nice and clean, you just feel like you are shopping at the 100 Yen shop in Japan. Most items are selling at C$2.75 , many cute stationery and practical housewares and cooking wares. You will not leave the shop with empty hands.

They carry a variety of Japanese personal care and household items. Some of their items are like those can be found at Japanese two dollors store. Good place to shop for different gadgets that may not be available elsewhere.

2022 March 4★ A nice big store located inside First Markham Place, offering lots of products and trinkets overall. Marketed as a Japanese lifestyle store, you'll find a lot of products with Japanese packaging (though like most other products, it's made in China). There are some products that are made in Japan, notably food items. Here you'll find products ranging from beauty, houseware, arts and crafts, stationary, cleaning, etc. Prices are pretty reasonable, though certain items can be a bit more. Lots of parking. Though on the weekends it can be pretty packed. Fun to visit.

This is a very cute Japanese dollar store. They carry some expensive items so make sure to check the price before throwing it in the basket. However most items are in the range of $2-4 each. I’ve bought organizers, binders, pencil cases that are much cuter to have compared to other dollar stores, arts & crafts, origami paper, cute writing instruments and they were the only store in GTA that carried Baymax plush toy. I always love visiting this store.

An excellent Japanese supermarket where most items are made in Japan. Not only do they have everyday essentials, snacks, and cleaning products, but they also have a vast selection of stationery and figurines. Great value for the price.

Located at First Markham Place Plaza. Big parking lots. Bright, organized and clean. You can find every little things you need at a reasonable price, from household, cosmetics, snacks to stationary. Staff were helpful and friendly. Products are mainly made in China, Korea and Japan.

Accessibility: Fully accessible. This is a cute shop selling a large assortment of Japanese products. Most things are reasonably priced. It's easy to find little additions or serving dishes to add to your kitchen collection. There are a lot of snack options to choose from and also a small amount of fresh baked bread options. The amount of selection available throughout the store can almost be overwhelming.

Great massive ‘low dollar’ store that offers a multitude of practical products in fun designs. Its organized into main categories, is very well maintained and decently stocked. Also features limited affordable authentic licensed Disney, Sanrio & Star Wars products. This location also allows online ordering and pickup. Chain offers a membership program for special offers. On the’ down-side’ I was advised by the cashier that they will no longer accept a digital version of your membership number, so now you must bring the physical card when shopping. The cutest huge shop that brings joy to all!! One can spend @ least an hour walking & browsing through the isles of cute products from Japan. Dinnerware is the first things you see as soon as you enter the shop. Elaborate selections of dinnerwares, health & beauty products, arts&crafts, household items as well as Japanese snacks. Located in the huge plaza with plenty of parking if visiting on weekdays. Try to avoid weekends as parking is a nightmare. Happy shopping!

A very nice place with a lot of things to buy.. from head to toes.. from out of your body to into your body stuffs. The price is somehow good! Quality? I will need to check out to know eventually. And I ll come update the review. And for some odd reason , we can’t take photos, well I took a couple of shots, normally I charge owners to have me take picture, so I did this for free using my iPhone. Hope people will see what they have and come support this place. The Parking outside was crazy tho..

Nice cute.. You must have heard that it is a Japanese version of Dollarama (better quality) but don’t expect the prices to be same as Dollarama! 😆

Love this store so much! Especially, the stationery section is awesome, love those washi tapes and clear stamps, and all those tiny useful tools. Also, this location is bigger than the another one in North York with more varieties of products.

I can shop here all day! They have so many things to see! From cosmetic to household supplies, to kitchen accessories, to cooking and baking utensils, to office supplies and stationery, etc!! In the US, we have similar store, Daiso. But this Oomomo is like double to triple the size of Daiso I have been to. Definitely a place to browse.
