Na ja. Nice surroundings , but staff who are clearly lacking in training. No customer wants to be told before they even sit down, they will be required to leave within 2 hours!! And then reminded again and rushed to pay the bill. We were told we could sit “ in the bar after our meal” . Easier said than done when there are no seats or even anywhere to stand where you can enjoy a digestive , that you didn’t have time to drink at your table!! Food was ok - nothing to write home about. All ok for a middle of the road eatery but bearing the hype and elevated prices in mind, I would have expected more .

The best octopus I have eaten my whole life and also delicious pasta with truffle. BUT they were serving drinks for free and even drinking with some tables and not with ours. Had the terrible feeling of being somehow discriminated.

Meh. Trying too hard and not pulling it off. The food was okay, but not what I would have expected for the price and (attempted) atmosphere. The staff was trying hard but were hovering a lot because they wanted to be sure we were out by the time the 8:30 time slot arrived. And the double-booking practice of the tables in a restaurant of that (supposed) caliber is just tacky. If I am spending that kind of money, I don't want to have the first thing I am told when I arrive for a 6pm reservation to be, "just so you know, you have to be done at 8 because we need your table." once was enough. There are much better and friendlier places, even in Karlsruhe. Food was okay (we had mostly fish/veg) , but some of the flavor mixes didn't work. The dessert (Cafe gourmand) had very subpar macarons and tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge too long. The other dishes were acceptable though.

Perfect location, quality and customer friendly staff. One of the best restaurants in Karlsruhe! Enjoyed the atmosphere and great array of cuisines!

Had our work Christmas party there. Nice atmosphere and staff, and the food (in our case a lot of steak and lamb cutlets) was delicious!

The quality of food is well above average. Nice atmosphere in terms of lighting, furniture and music in the background. Customer service is very good.

Modern, cosy restaurant with dark interior vibe. The dishes are delicious and well designed. The staff are professional and fast.

Very slow servise. We came at the openning at 18 on Thu and waited for 1,5 hours to get our first dish (just salad) and another hour and 15 min (!) to get second dish. All of this in light of the fact that we actually pre-indicated what each of us will be eating week in advance. Food was oversalted.

Excellent dishes, the combination of flavors is perfect in each dish ☺️
