I was inquiring about openings for new patients. I found them from a list provided by my insurance. I finally get a call back and they don't take my insurance. That would have been fine but the woman was very rude about the insurance I have. I said I had already found a doctor at another place. She asked where I found one. She laughed and said I don't know who would even accept that insurance. I have OHP, which is very common but seems to be looked down on by some clinics. I'm not some "lazy poor person" because I have this insurance. I had a 17 year long career that was cut short due to my medical issues. This woman didn't need to say anything except ok after I said I found a clinic already.

Dr. Loveless was so kind, warm, and informative. She made the experience very comfortable and I am SO blessed to have her as my new PCP. Overall my first visit to Oak street Medical was a great experience. Very happy they have a lab right in their clinic to be able to draw blood so quickly! 10/10 experience!

My wife and I have been very happy with the care provided to us. Dr Bohrman is so easy to talk to, takes the time to listen, and addresses our concerns. We are both retired, so been around awhile. Dr Bohrman and doctors like her are the doctor many dream of finding, we are blessed to have her.

Very happy with my actual visit with Dr. Valenzuela. Went in for an annual checkup. Hadn’t seen a PCP in a while. Got in quickly. After the visit, which was supposed to be the annual checkup that one’s insurance covers, I ended up with an outstanding bill for a couple labs that were ordered. The Oak Street office said that these were the same things they bill for everyone coming in for an annual visit and they’re always covered. My insurance company didn’t. I don’t work in either field, so I don’t know how any of this works, but I had to play telephone between the two organizations to try and figure it out. It was never resolved. In the meantime, the in-house lab, which is technically a separate business, ended up sending my account to collections, so I just paid it to be done with the headache. It would have been really great for someone at the Oak Street office to champion my case and work directly with the insurance company to figure out what went wrong.

I have been a patient of Kirk Jacobson's at Oak Street Medical for 12 years. I have had excellent care. Every visit, every time. I always feel that he gives me plenty of time to listen to my issues-I never feel rushed. In addition his entire office staff is always friendly and welcoming-front and back office staff are all amazing. I would recommend this practice 100%!

Ed provides the best quality care anyone could possibly ask for. He possesses a vast depth of medical knowledge, but knows when to send his patient to a specialist. He is kind, warm and giving of his time. And his best quality, in my opinion, is that he truly listens and believes what a patient says, a true rarity I’ve found. Ed is a great provider, but above all he is a great person. I consider myself profoundly fortunate that he is my health care provider.

Dr. Snieder always listens and lays out the options in a clear and concise manner. I don't ever feel disregarded due to superficial characteristics. Everyone I have met at Oak Street Medical has been great to me.

Jenny Bohrman always does the best job of listening, attending to detail and is truly empathetic. She also understands more than any doctor I’ve known about our bodies. Great doc!

Dr Kirk Jacobson is the nicest, most personable, funny and knowledgeable professional that I know. I have seen Dr Jacobson for around 20 years now and no matter what I see him for I always leave his office feeling better, whether or not he cracks me up with his awesome jokes or casual conversation or reassuring me and treating my illnes. This guy is a one of a kind person, I don't know what I would do without him in my corner. Thank you Dr Jacobson for all your kindness and help, you are greatly appreciated!

All the staff at Oak Street Medical are the greatest staff ever. Pleasant to talk to and they all acknowledge and share information when I am being looked at and cared for. Doctor Snieder and his staff are Professionals. The front office personal always greets me with their great smiles.

Fantastic. Thorough, efficient, and great communication skills. The lab is in the building, so I don’t have to make a separate appointment for a blood draw. Today, I didn’t even have to leave the examination room to get a last- minute flu shot.

The feeling of being family is very apparent and the honest care for my needs are exceptional. I love these people from the welcome of front desk staff to the close hands on care of my nurse and the sincere understanding of my doctor who has always been so much more than just a doctor. 💕

If you could select your Dr. after knowing them for 5 years this is where I would go. It can't speak highly enough about Dr Bohrman and her staff. I hate going to the doctor but I look forward to my annual checkup. The whole organization is top rated. The kind of professionalism and compassion you want from your doctor.

Oak Street Medical has been taking excellent care of me and my family for about 40 years. My recent November 2023 appointment went smoothly from the time they advised me to schedule it, to checking in, to going through the visit, to getting the lab report. Every single staff person was professional and friendly and helpful. Doctor Kirk Jacobson was, as usual, the perfect physician! I am honestly so grateful to be a patient at Oak Street Medical!

Ed Valenzuela is the best. He is deserving of way more than five stars. The overall practice is deserving of three stars. It’s more or less average, but Dr Valenzuela is the bomb.

I can't say enough about FNP Nicole Delimont and her staff. She listens, takes as much time to discuss my health needs and offers medical and homeopathic options as well. Her advice in always right on the mark. I feel as I am in the best hands. I receive quick responses and expert professional care. Nicole takes the time to investigate and follow up on more complex situations. She exudes kindness and has expert medical knowledge, she's attentive, compassionate, reassuring and trustworthy. I would gladly give her 10 stars because she is as close to perfect as can be. I couldn't ask for anything more!

Dr. Jacobson and his staff are always so helpful and pleasant and very knowledgeable. The staff at the front desk are always so pleasant and warmly great us. We have been coming to this practice for many years and everyone there feels like family.

I have been satisfied with the care, service and concern about my medical care. Nicole Delimont NP is attentive and listens to my needs. She provides referral for any additional services I may need. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Oak St. Medical to anyone. I also see Dr. Kraig Jacobson, Allergist and he has been very helpful and attentive. The support staff is caring and courteous.

Ed Valenzuela, Nicole Delimont, Angela Loveless and several other clinicians and staff make this clinic a unique place in today's increasingly rushed and overwhelmed medical system. They spend a bit more time with you, seem to listen well and express genuine care. There are a few issues with the referral system, but the triage nurses Beth and Heather more than balance out any shortcomings. You are lucky if you can get a provider here. Keep it up Oak Street Medical!
