Switching to Back2Strength was the best choice I could make for my chronic physical ailments. Scheduling was fast, easy, and friendly, and offered a wide verity of time slots to fit my changing schedule. I was also impressed by Dr. Brown’s ability to really listen to me and develop a care plan based on my goals and lifestyle, and not just give me a “cookie-cutter” care plan. I was also happy find out my insurance covered most of the cost!

I was in extreme pain in my hip and leg and not able to walk without the pain increasing, causing a need to sit or lie down. I also have long time arthritis and disc issues with my spine. Dr. Brown's treatments relieved the pain with just 5 treatments. He has a deep tissue massage therapist who took a few minutes massaging that area before Dr. Brown treated me-she was VERY good at deep tissue treatments (a rarity ). What I really liked is that he gave me a printout describing my current problem, what I could do to help to reduce future possible problems and simple exercises. He was interested with getting me healed verses trying to making me a weekly, career patient.

TLDR: I'm really glad that I have been coming here, I strongly recommend this business and I hope that you can find this joy in your wellness journey, too. Preface: Twenty some years ago, I injured my back and never sought medical help, and I should have. I really should have. I gained a whole bunch of weight in consequence (and lifestyle choices) and sustained a few other injuries in between then and now. While moving towards a more healthy me and losing the weight that I had gained, I started to notice those old injuries as the weight was shedding and decided that it was time to get them addressed. In my research about chiropractic care, I learned that the adjustments or physical manipulations are only part of the process to recovery and healing. The greater part of this is in the stretching, strengthening and conditioning of the injured areas through various, low impact exercises that lean towards a more long term, healthy lifestyle. While I was already doing the latter half of that in my weight loss journey, the former was still needed. After speaking with a friend of mine who was going through something similar, I learned of this clinic and the type of practice that is ran here. I found the office staff to be presentable, friendly and helpful and they have even put in the effort to try remembering my name. The office is space is clean and well ran/organized and the operation is as professional as one would expect for the type of service that is conducted here. If your appointment is at 3:30, you can expect to be seen pretty close to 3:30. In other words, they value your time! So please value theirs and I'll tell you why. During my initial visit and consultation, Dr. Houston took the time to listen to my complaints, examine me and explain his findings to me while putting together several exercises that I can add to my daily routine. He pointed out the onsite exercise room that's available during your treatment while talking about the importance of long term self care to help prevent these injuries from returning and then took the time to address any questions I might have about the kind of care I will be receiving there. Ask him questions! He seems to love that and he will take the time to engage with you to honestly answer those questions with his own professional opinion. I'm only four visits in and I can already tell a tremendous difference in my overall mobility as the muscles in my back are loosening up and allowing my spine to bend and flex again. I feel more comfortable in bed which has allowed me to sleep better and it hurts a lot less when I get up. It also doesn't hurt as much to sit for longer periods of time or even put on my own shoes. I always chalked that up that struggle to the weight gain which while true, was only part of the problem that I was experiencing. I should have done this a long time ago and I am here to encourage anyone else considering this type of care to recover from an injury to come here and see these people! You wont regret it! The type of operation that is run here is one based on good ethics and common sense. Please listen to what they have to say and take their advice by adding these few, low impact exercises to your daily routine (or whatever else it is that they suggest) and then supplement that with physical manipulation, not the other way around. For both you and them, the success is going to be found in your overall health, long term. I'm really glad that I have been coming here, I strongly recommend this business and I hope that you can find this joy in your wellness journey, too.

Andrew Huston is a life saver! I would recommend him to anyone with neck issues or migraines. He has changed my life. The whole office is really friendly. The front desk ladies are the sweetest and remember all my life changes and always ask what I'm up to. I enjoy everything about the whole office.

I have had this pain in my upper back for a month due to carrying a Wound Vac machine 24 hours a day. Dr Brown is helping to get the muscle back to where it should be and knows right what to do. Thanks Dr Brown, my back is beginning to feel better. I should have come in sooner. You are great and I highly recommend you to anyone. Russ Tarrant

I don't visit a chiropractor regularly, but neck and shoulder problems have been greatly relieved by the team at Back2Strength. I have experienced tremendous relief in only one or two visits, and the exercises that they suggested are helping me to feel that my pain is able to be alleviated through my own efforts, combined with an occasional visit. They listen well and are very thoughtful in their responses, in their treatment, and in their follow up. I have visited several chiropractors in my life, but not as professional or as compentent as the team at Back2Strength. I am always seen at the time of my appointment, I never feel rushed, and I always leave glad that I had a tuneup. Thank you!

I've never been to a chiropractor before and I'm very grateful a friend recommended Dr Brown. I'm an active retired woman and felt the shoulder and back pain I experienced were a normal part of aging. Dr Brown has improved my alignment and joint motion - addressing a 30 year old rib injury that left me with intermittent gnawing pain. He's helped me regain normal shoulder function from years of competitive swimming, working on computers and driving many hours per day in my previous career. I never expected shoulder pain would stop waking me up at night. Dr Brown is excited about his work and committed to increasing his skills. He focuses on helping his patients resolve the issues most important to them, both through adjustments and prescribing the right exercises to strengthen and maintain wellness. I appreciate his commitment to fitness in his own and his family's life. If it hadn't been for my friend talking about how much her recurrent back pain had improved, I wouldn't have thought of myself as someone who would benefit from chiropractic care. Like her, I'm fit and healthy, not suffering from debilitating pain. At first I felt guilty for taking up Dr Brown's time. Now I realize I'm an excellent candidate for chiropractic care. Dr Brown has significantly improved my quality of life, I look forward to relying on him to help me stay fit and healthy for years to come.

Dr. Brown is helping me regain strength and flexibility that I was losing primarily due to pain in my knees and hip joints. Since I do not lean toward medications or surgery I am very thankful to receive his help. With his gentle manipulations and soft tissue work my low back, hip joints and knee joints are becoming stabilized so that I can walk confidently and continue gardening. His work is complimented by Eric's rehab protocols which are strengthening my core in ways I couldn't achieve myself. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Thank you to everyone at Back2Strength!

I have nothing but good things to say about this location. By far the best quality care! I hurt my ankle about a year ago or so, and I didn’t allow my ankle to heal correctly. I continued to walk on a sprained ankle, till the point I could no longer walk, without excruciating pain. Now my ankle feels, almost normal again. I was too busy with life and work to realize I needed help. The location is so nice and clean, the receptionist are the most sweetest lady’s. While I wait to be seen in their lobby, I admire how they treat everyone with so much kindness. They are also flexible with scheduling, which is a huge plus. As for Dr. Brown, he’s been amazing. Dr. Brown is extremely talented and knowledgeable. I’ve been seeing him on this road to recovery for a while now. I can say I feel comfortable talking about how life is unraveling. His nature is so calming, and easy to talk to. I highly highly recommend Back2strength! I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I was in pain for months not able to lift anything heavy in the gym. Frustrated and in pain I finally made an appointment with Back 2 Strength. Within two appointments I was able to deadlift 300lbs pain free: during the movement and after the workout. I’m very happy to have heard about the clinic. Would 100% recommend.

I have a nagging issue with my right foot from plantar fasciitis that recently came on. I went in to see Andrew H. who sat me down, gave me a pep talk of hope and some treatment. The facility is clean and welcoming. The receptionist were on point and attentive. The wait time was short and the treatment definitely helped. I’d recommend Back2Strength to anyone that has a physically demanding and if you’re a sport enthusiast, Andrew is the guy to see! His extensive background in sport, especially running, he knows the ins and outs on how our body should be functioning. A solid, concrete ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Best place in town to get you moving again! I came in with a badly strained low back, limping and barely able to stand up straight. By the end of my first visit, not only could I move properly again, but I was able to fully straighten my spine for the first time in days. Dr Brown helped me come up with a personalized treatment plan to get me fully healed within 4 weeks, and took great care of me along the way. The team at Back 2 Strength is fully committed to healing you and restoring your mobility. If you're in pain, don't wait: go see Dr Brown!

Woke up with a mysterious back pain. Scheduled an appointment with Dr. Huston and got in surprisingly fast. He was very knowledgeable and helped alleviate my back pain in just a few days. They accept my health insurance, so it was very inexpensive to me. I highly recommend Dr. Huston and the Back 2 Strength team. Best Chiropractor in Eugene!
