This is DEFINITELY a sports bar. Not my type of place because I'm not a huge sports fanatic, but its very spacious, lots of TVs, the drinks are delicious and they have pool. One of their pool tables were messing up but the bartender was quick to fix it. Overall it was fun.

Dollar off micros during happy hour. Menu is very basic, but very good. Inside is a unique barn shape.

Needs updated badly. Everything is old dark and dingy. Large screen projector must be from 1990 it is so dim. They do have good drinks and fair amount of TV's for watching the games.

The Bartender was prompt on my onion rings order. I noticed that the Bartender was making funny jokes to other customers and seems to me that she's a a good worker and wants to be sure that you get want you wanted. I find that the "atmosphere" at the place of good music, not too loud, but really cozy. The food was a little overcooked but tasty. This is now my favorite place to just hang out.

Horribly over priced drink, rude bartenders for the most part, and had to wait 2 hours for our food. I made the mistake of going a 2nd time and I can confidently say I wont be back again.

Cooler had limited food service because of the heat. A very unique building was rich in local history. If you want good drinks for a fair price, then the Cooler is the place to be. Staff quickly gave us water, and our drinks soon followed. Cooler, you have a repeat customer next time I'm down in Eugene.

I went to The Cooler with my wife for the Oregon vs Oregon State game and yes it was packed. I was playing video lottery and went to cash my tickets when the bartender took my cash out slips for $400 and then continued to help other people. They then looked at me and said what do you need, I said my money for my tickets and they responded with what money. I then took pictures of the people behind the bar to turn them in. They snatched my phone, threw it in the trash and then decided to kick me out. I then filed a police report and had to go back in the morning to collect my money. They under paid me and the manager did not call me back like I was told. No one checked the cameras or checked the lottery machine for proof prior to paying me. The staff is very unprofessional including the manager. I asked for the owners information to run the cameras and take the proper action however they refused to give me his information, or give him mine. So now I’m left with being shorted and no action has been taken. If the owner sees this, please contact me immediately. Something needs to happen! I’m sure they do this a lot hoping people are to intoxicated and split the tickets amongst each other for additional tips. Was told the managers super close with the guy in the first pic which is why no action has been taken. This happened at 10:15pm 11/24/23.

Really neat place to hang out with friends and/or fam for some drinks and food. Definitely a place for Ducks fans. We had a burger and wings, and they're delicious. Planning on coming back for sure.

We went back a second time! We are right at 50. Something that is important to us since the style of music is important to us. The two nights we were there they had classic rock and country the second time. Both bands were good, food was good, service was fast and friendly. Would definitely go back

I went to see Pendleton Highway last Saturday and I'm really glad I did. The Cooler has a great atmosphere, clean and well maintained. Everyone in the bar seemed nice. The employees seemed to enjoy their job.I recommend this bar for sure!

Great place. Classic spot to watch the Duck games and so many memories here. BUT.... I literally cannot think of a place, anywhere in the world, that charges $4.00 for a Pabst Blue Ribbon 16oz can. Nowhere.. OH... Dan's the best. Yeah

If you're over 40 and enjoy good music with a beat, this is the place! Good food and service. Not a nightclub but, who knows, you could find "Mr. Right Now" here!

They are a understaffed so if it’s busy you may have a long wait but the food and service is so good it makes it all worth it. Literally everything on the menu is good and super fresh and reasonably priced. They make their own homemade potato chips and fry sauce and they are both to die for. Not many taps but they keep a good selection.

Excellent food little pricey but good. Now the Bills football bar in Eugene. Was a great experience for the family. Kids can come in until 8pm I believe.

It felt like they had a new cook. The food we ordered was not that great. The breakfast dish was really over cooked and the burger tasted bland. Not what I remember from previous visits 😕

A HIDDEN GEM, stopped in last Sunday night traveling through and had the best burger I have had in years, add the great friendly service and cheap drink prices , this place is truly a hidden gem, it isn’t the fanciest place, but it is where the locals go, give it a try, you won’t be disappointed

Been coming here on and off for 10 years and it's always been a great place. Love Karaoke nights! Good staff, plenty of space so not shoulder to shoulder and fast service.

Really nice staff. I re-aggravated an old knee injury at the Cooler and they were super nice about getting me an ice pack and helping me out. Thanks, gang!

Makes sense to see several complaints about the bartenders. They were very rude on the phone. Said one word and hung up. Not going here now 🚫

I ordered food from here and not only was half my order forgotten most of my food wasn't even fully cooked. My chicken strips were still cold in the middle and my onion rings still had raw batter in them.

Great "beef" tacos on any Tuesday. After lunch and before the kids start plugging up the streets. Plenty of seating or personal space for a time out , adult style. For alcoholics!

Cool and laid back; surpringly even keel coming from a University bar. Subdued mumers come from the booths while a tippy patron does the duck walk as UofO scores a touchdown.

Not bad. Saturday night and nobody here. Had some cheese sticks, flavorless and out of a bag. Beer didn't pack much of a punch. Music wasn't too loud so folks could talk. Just wish there would have been people here. I've been back a couple times. Never a live band, rarely anyone around. Have to drop it a star since it's only good for lonely drinks who want to stay that way. The place has so much potential. Sad.

Favorite bar in town! Bartender Dan is the best, we love him! Also the rest of the staff is superb! Thank you for the great drinks and for the comfortable relaxed atmosphere!

This was my first visit to The Cooler, which was recommended to me for lunch as an easy "walk to" by Lithia Nissan of Eugene while my Pathfinder was in for service. On entering The Cooler, we were barely greeted by the female server who was closest to the front door, who briefly told us to choose a table. We chose a table in the elevated dining area, not the bar. We ordered three entrees, a lovely cobb salad (5 stars), a hamburger with fries that arrived with a tasty dipping sauce (5 stars), and nachos with chicken (2.5 stars), which arrived with real cheese on them but the entire dish was almost as hard as a rock. Although not burned, it was microwaved too long; thus, it was extremely difficult to break the hardened nachos off the plate and each other. All the servings were generous. Daniel T. was our server, and he was friendly, welcoming, attentive, efficient, and fun (10 stars), well deserving of the 20% tip I left. Am adding a photo that shows a bit of the darkish, bar-style atmosphere. If I owned this venue, I'd have the decor thoroughly cleaned, as it generally looks a bit tired and dusty. Had I been able to eat more than just a tiny portion of my nachos entree, I would have awarded 5 stars instead of only 4 stars.
