All of the employees helped a man keep a woman trapped in the dining room while it was full of customers. She asked a server to leave out the back kitchen and was told no while this random man from the street blocked the main doorway and taunted her. She said he had a gun but no one believed her because she was rambling. She became so desperate she tried the emergency exit fire door 3 times but it wouldn't open. She finally pulled the fire alarm. That's when I got up to leave and berated the man for putting everyone's lives at risk. Why did I have to tell your employees it's illegal to keep someone trapped in a building full of customers? Please close this place down, no amount of training will work. Edited to ad: that fire door needs checked. someone in a panic should be able to open it without problem. If that man did have a gun we all would have been dead as he was blocking the only visibly usable exit

Bartender was hella cool he made a bomb drink the kitchen took forever and then I took my food home and it was cold okay I'm at the Hampton inn down the street I should have been hot still but it is what it is some companies care some companies don't the cheese sticks are supposed to be melting not chewy think the best part of this place was to drink thank you bartender five star for you both kitchen half a star.

It's an Applebee's. Food is alright. Drinks taste like the mixer. Kinda expensive for what they are. Service was great. Unfortunately there is alot of other places I'd rather eat at for better food, drinks, and prices.

Food was decent, but it's hard to mess up a burger. What has me leaving a review is the service. It was excellent. Our server was training, being shadowed by a newbie. Both were attentive and polite. While we ate I watched both of them working hard doing tasks between checking on us and another 4 top, and seating other parties. It was efficient and cohesive. Props to the wait staff.

Our waitress was wonderful! Food was great. The AC was broken and we all were melting including the waitresses. Was told they're calling the AC company daily but nothing. Shame on the management for forcing your employees to work in an illegal sweat shop and letting the customers have to sit in a hot box! Fix the AC!!!!

I had the chicken and mushroom skillet, which was delicious. They were also very patient and attentive while I sat and wrote for a few hours. Excellent service! Update 4/6/23 I keep coming back and it continues to be excellent! The bourbon street chicken and shrimp is amazing. My waitress was energetic, efficient and attentive!

We had a great food server. The restaurant was clean. We ordered some drinks that were great. Queso and chips were delicious. However, the salad had too much water at the bottom of the bowl, and the hamburger tasted like a turkey burger. Will not be ordering those again.

07/02/2022 I did an online order for pickup. I ordered the chicken tenders plate for $11.79 with honey mustard. I also ordered a side order of the loaded mac and cheese for $2.99. The chicken tenders were alright. The fries were pretty good. But I really enjoyed the mac and cheese!

I was hoping to leave a better review! Stopped in here my wife's food seem to be very good but mine on the other hand was dry and I didn't get enough of Au Jus and ask for more and still never got it. I was drinking a Hefeweizen and they ran out of that I only had one. There was no other replacement. So I had water. The place seemed clean and not very busy. Not sure I'll come back here. If I do I will review.

The Applebee's here is clean. The service is quite good. The food is what you would expect in a chain restaurant. Not outstanding, but good and plentiful. I like their BBQ ribs and their onion soup particularly. Good place to go with hungry teenagers. Good variety and fast service.

I don’t leave reviews almost ever but this needs one. The service is amazing very nice employees. The food is beyond great and wherever I go when I get steaks their always small but this steak was perfect in every way, taste, size, savory flavor and the fries I don’t know what they do to them but these are probably the best fries I’ve ever had. Not to mention we live about 25 mins away 35 with traffic and when we got back the food was still warm including the fries. 5 stars well earned thank you for your service.

It's an Applebee's, just like the rest. It's kinda like paying a bunch of money to have someone heat up a Hungry-Man meal for you, and then serve it with drinks. That said, I go there because I have three kids under 6. It's my daughters favorited place. I can bring the kids there, eat a decent meal, have a drink, watch some sports, and not be embarrassed when the kids act like kids.

It was my birthday, and I had your Steak and Shrimp, which was delicious. My daughter ordered us a blonde brownie as my birthday cake. We waited for the brownie for about forty-five minutes, but we never received it. The waiters told us about five times that it was being prepared. We finally left without the blonde brownie. The waitress' apologized every time they came to our table, though. It was the first time I felt the service was not Applebees' the quality it usually has had. We love Sarah the bartender! Totally amazing and chill evening. Food was PERFECT! Like mouth watering, dripping juices every bite, delicious. And the drinks! Yummmm!

Was an impromptu visit and happened to go durring happy hour. Half price appetizers! One of my kids loves that they offer yogurt & strawberries with the kids' meals. It's a chain restaurant so you know what you are getting and it was exactly as to be expected.

Not usually a fan of big chain restaurants but my daughter likes to eat here and we were out to kill some time. Was pleasantly surprised by how good my sandwich was. Fast polite service and delicious mixed drinks. Will say have been to Gateway location and was unimpressed.

Clean and friendly, good prices... But my steak is always overcooked. Cheapest whiskey in town! Great for late night takeout.

We went to Applebee's around 5pm and it wasn't too busy surprisingly. The food was delicious! Our server Jordan was amazing! She was super sweet and provided incredible service. You can tell she really cares about her customers. She really made the atmosphere in there positive and that was nice.

The service was good but none of the food was good. This is not a steak house. Don't order a steak here. EVER. And, if you order the ribs, be sure to order a full rack. The half rack wouldn't satisfy even the smallest appetite. We won't be going back.

Just want to share an experience with the Applebees on West 11th in Eugene. Last Thursday we ordered delivery from this restaurant for Friday evening. Due to Covid-19 in our home, we had left instructions in the order to “knock/ring bell and leave order on bench outside our door”. We observed the Doordash delivery person come to our door, but he just left the meals at the door, no knock-no ring! We watched him leave, gathered the bag, and quickly became aware that the delivery was not only wrong, but was actually from the Wendy’s across 11th from Applebees… and having opened the bag we checked that order and found it to be incomplete… so two failures by the Doordash dude! However, here’s the good part, I immediately called the Applebees, explained the problem, and was politely and quickly connected to the manager. She immediately offered to cancel the previous order from our CC, and to place a new order, or (as we needed) to cancel the order and issue a refund to the CC. Super customer service! She did as we asked, and the charge was removed from the CC very quickly! So, Applebees gets a 10, and will see us soon in person for a family gathering… and Abdulkadar from Doordash gets a 0!

Normally great service, but today 7pm, three tables occupied, 3 servers, 3 others standing. Seated immediately but waited 20 minutes. Not even offer of water they seemed more interested in the female bartender than helping clients. Super sad their service is normally great.

My bartender was very rude I ordered a shot of tequila that must of passed her off because she brought me a shot glass not even a 1/4 of the way full. She was Not rude to just me, but to other staff members right in front of me and she seemed to be impatient with everybody that she was serving as well I literally felt uncomfortable because of her behavior. and then she tried to act nice in the end so she would get a tip while I wrote "smile more! " In the tip slot, so..maybe she will next time.

My husband and I have been dining here for over 8 years at lease twice a year! We order the same thing. He loves his burger and fries and my grilled salmon with mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. The flavor is always just perfect! I also love the selection of pasta with shrimp and chicken. Hungryyyyy!

Excellent Happy Hour Specials! There are so many options, & big servings at an affordable price! Friendly & attentive staff!! I always receive 5 Star Customer Service on every visit. I have taken friends & family here, and they were also pleasantly surprised by their dining experiences at Applebee’s! :)

I haven't been in an Applebee's for 2+ years. Now that I've been back I won't make the same mistake twice. Great flavor on the chicken dish, got a quesadilla burger cooked medium that actually came to perfection.

The lady that brought our food to the table was so rude. Told us to figure out if our order was right or not. Our waitress was really nice though and made things right. I wish I would of got the rude ones name. Food wasn't very good either.

I wanted to go here for my 21st birthday when I got there there was one person in line in front of us, they were asked if they wanted to die or if they wanted to get take put, and I'm pretty sure that they were getting take out and the person who came to talk to us said they weren't seating people anymore. It was stupid. I just wanted to sit down and get a drink, you can't get alcohol for take out.

This restaurant has really excellent management and staff. I have always been impressed by the quality of service. Especially the manager Selena has been especially helpful nd seems like a very wonderful person as well

You guys are all rock stars. Some people just dont understand . yes it might look slow in the dinning room but what they don't see is Togo orders and being under staffed. And they don't know how much the cost of food has gone up because of what's going on in the world or how when we order products and they don't have it guess what. That means we can't order it and will run out. I just wish people would just be more understanding when dining out. ✌

Best meal I have had out in a long time! Our server was so fabulous, especially with the littles we had in tow.

It's okayyyy... First time we've visited since the beginning of the pandemic, so the menu is entirely different and their prices have seem to have increased. Food was good though, but not enough french fries served with my burger. I was mostly disappointed to find that although the restaurant was not at all busy, they were filling tables without separating each party with an empty table.
