Just
want
to
share
an
experience
with
the
Applebees
on
West
11th
in
Eugene.
Last
Thursday
we
ordered
delivery
from
this
restaurant
for
Friday
evening.
Due
to
Covid-19
in
our
home,
we
had
left
instructions
in
the
order
to
“knock/ring
bell
and
leave
order
on
bench
outside
our
door”.
We
observed
the
Doordash
delivery
person
come
to
our
door,
but
he
just
left
the
meals
at
the
door,
no
knock-no
ring!
We
watched
him
leave,
gathered
the
bag,
and
quickly
became
aware
that
the
delivery
was
not
only
wrong,
but
was
actually
from
the
Wendy’s
across
11th
from
Applebees…
and
having
opened
the
bag
we
checked
that
order
and
found
it
to
be
incomplete…
so
two
failures
by
the
Doordash
dude!
However,
here’s
the
good
part,
I
immediately
called
the
Applebees,
explained
the
problem,
and
was
politely
and
quickly
connected
to
the
manager.
She
immediately
offered
to
cancel
the
previous
order
from
our
CC,
and
to
place
a
new
order,
or
(as
we
needed)
to
cancel
the
order
and
issue
a
refund
to
the
CC.
Super
customer
service!
She
did
as
we
asked,
and
the
charge
was
removed
from
the
CC
very
quickly!
So,
Applebees
gets
a
10,
and
will
see
us
soon
in
person
for
a
family
gathering…
and
Abdulkadar
from
Doordash
gets
a
0!
