Good
food,
surprisingly
average
beer.
I've
heard
really
good
things
about
the
beer
in
the
Eugene
area,
and
admit
that
I
had
higher
expectations
coming
into
Falling
Sky
—
especially
after
the
beyond
stellar
beer
at
Hop
Valley.
But
I'm
afraid
that
Falling
Sky
didn't
quite
hold
up
to
my
hopes.
The
food
was
decent
—
four
to
four
and
a
half
stars.
But
I'd
have
to
ding
them
for
their
lack
of
attention
to
the
offerings
they
have
for
kids.
My
daughter's
quesadillas
were
totally
sub-par
looking
and
there
was
nothing
special
about
my
son's
hot
dog
(he's
a
total
hot
dog
kind
of
kid
and
didn't
eat
it
all).
The
salad
was
really
good
—
fresh,
crispy
vegetables
and
thick-cut
bacon.
Don't
bother
with
the
roasted
vegetables.
Mine
mostly
consisted
of
cauliflower
(and
I
can't
stand
it).
In
the
very
least
throw
in
some
red
and
green
grilled
peppers,
maybe
some
caramelized
onions,
or
some
other
vegetables
more
conducive
to
roasting
or
grilling.
I
don't
regret
coming
here
—
I'm
always
up
for
exploring
new
destinations
and
trying
new
beers.
Just
keep
your
expectations
tempered
and
you'll
enjoy
it
here.
It's
a
good
place,
but
not
great.
