Outstanding staff, music & bar. Heard the band The Inner Limits when I went. Great music. Love what they stand for. Cool old building. They had dancing lessons going on the top floor too! Looks like fun!

Came to Mac's last night, to dance to my friends band, Heavy Chevy. I adore them, I adore Mac's & I adore the food too. It was too hot inside, everyone was complaining. I wished that it hadn't have been so hot. Other than that, it was awesome! 07-18-22 Came to Mac's to watch my friends band, the great, Rock 'n Rewind, play music on the lawn. They are just the most wonderful folks here & it was nice to finally get out & do something normal. I didn't eat anything, but I still love it here. Ok, after Covid update. New Menu. No pizza any longer. However, if you want the BEST wedge salad in this whole area. Please, try one here! Holy Cow, not only was it huge, but it was literally smothered in toppings. I actually ordered it with an extra, I added Smoked Salmon to it. It was made with half a head of lettuce! I kid you not, there's no better Wedge Salad anywhere around here! My dining partner ordered a Cheeseburger & Tots. MY PIZZA REVIEW BELOW IS PRIOR TO COVID...FYI If you order anything, PLEASE order the Thai Chicken Pizza! You will NOT find such an amazingly decadent flavor of pizza anywhere! My gosh, who knew that a restaurant, that's not a pizza parlour would make such an indescribable mouth watering pizza! Even the 4 yr old & the 9 yr old, couldn't stop eating it. Now that says A LOT. Try it, you'll be hooked.

I walk my dog passed the music every night outside. It is so uplifting and wonderful to see people on the lawn having such a great time! Whoever was playing on 9/8 was incredible. Such a soothing voice. I wish I would have stayed and listened to more.❤

Went to see Shelly James &Cal Coleman,who will play again in April! Awesome they are fantastic with great backing musicians. I didn't eat, but everything I saw served looked really good. I don't drink alcohol, but the club soda was fantastic and the service was excellent. If you can go see Shelly and her husband play you will have a great time, bring your appetite and tip heavy!!!

Mac's is my favorite place to go to in Eugene. Saw Ben Rice perform there one evening and loved it, especially when I got to meet him. Great food, great atmosphere, great everything. Highly recommend for anyone who likes excellent live music with their dinner.

This is a fun place. Mostly older crowd and they have live music. We went here to listen to a blues band. It was too loud to carry on a conversation with our friends so we had to move around the corner. All in all, the staff is nice, drinks are relatively cheap, and the food was good.

First time at this establishment. Really enjoyed the live music, food (they are tweaking the chicken tenders)and drink. The staff is the best, very friendly. Wide age range and everyone was having a good time. Casual👍

A quiet small bar and dining area. Perfectly low lighting for a private dinner. The menu was great. Steaks cooked perfectly. I love the fried oysters here, absolutely delicious.

No food for me, but Meena was just a delight! Live music is great too. Will be back soon!

This place is so fun! My husband and I have been here a few times for various events. We have had a wonderful time every visit. We so enjoy the live music performances. It is a fun place to come and dance as well. It is far less intimidating than other venues.

Max is a really fun experience. Always creative and often unique musical live acts. The staff is friendly and completely efficient even though it's always busy. Great use of everything highly recommend a night out at Mac's

We spent $36 to see a band play. We were really excited to see them. We show up early so we can get some good seats. Then we find that not only do you have to buy tickets but you also have to reserve a table. We end out basically in a area around the corner. Can't see the band at all. It's just noise at that point. Can't unstated any lyrics, or anything beyond just noise. Staff are like sorry, but nothing we can do. So I'm out $36. We tried to hang out but after 30 minutes, we just left. I can't even begin to say how disappointed we both were.

Had an event in the ballroom. The staff was not at all friendly or helpful. I smiled at a few different employees and each time they turned away without smiling or greeting me or even acknowledging my presence. It was very frustrating how overeager they were to take my plate and glass. It made me feel rushed and pressured and not listened to when they repeatedly tried to take my cake before I was done eating it. And I couldn't leave my place even to use the bathroom without them stealing my unfinished drink. Very disappointing. Would not recommend.

You've Gotta try the Blackened Salmon meal. Though all food was WAY over-salted, the meal was so delicious. Had sautéed veggies in season and have then add garlic to the mashed potatoes. $27 or $28. You won't be sorry, ... as long as you tell them to rake it easy with the salt shaker!!

I love Mac's! They've got the friendliest staff and the live music is the best around.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Large portion food. Mac and cheese very good and wedge salad large and very yummy. Music was a definite bonus and oh so good. We were passing through and enjoyed the experience so much that we are planning on make it a destination trip to go back!!

Service was Excellent. 19th Anniversary for Mac's!!! Limited Menu was just fine. Great Music outside on the front Lawn. Stellar Blues, Jazz. Especially the Harmonica! Dancing on the Front Lawn. Can't Go Wrong!

This place is a hidden gem. Great food and drinks. Great service! The bands are great! Everyone shows up and has a good time. Really what more can you ask for....

A Eugene institution for at least a couple of decades, Mac’s at the Vets’ Club features live music Tuesday through Saturday nights, and good food and drinks. Music is usually somewhere on the blues to rock spectrum. In the summer, it’s sometimes on an outdoor stage. Indoors, there is room to dance. I’ve always enjoyed the food, especially the Caesar salads.

Great place for food and live music. The staff is fun and the kitchen produces consistently delicious plates. They have supported live music when it was challenging, so support them back!

Music on the grass is perfect for relaxing after a rough day on the job. I wouldn't recommend the food though always have to send the meal back.
