Coffee. House. House. Coffee. I want a cup of coffee. I go to a house. Not just any house, mind. A House that bakes Coffee. I suspect the Witch from Hansel and Gretel has had something to do with this. A House of Many Rooms. Humans caught up in their EtherLives. Here, suddenly, NotHere. Where did they go. Everyone pays their check at the beginning. Eugeners are too caught up in Fear and Loathing of being NOTICED. They want to be noticed; at the same time, "don't look at me. I'm hideous.". So there they sit, in the Public, nor looking nor being looked at. Here one moment, gone the next. Becoming tomorrows Scone.

Such a sweet little coffee house with awesome food and a great porch! They have a great menu with lots of options and there’s always a line out the door. Sit inside on a cold day or outside on a sunny day and enjoy a delicious coffee and tasty food (French toast, breakfast sandwiches, soup, lox and cream cheese, etc.)! One of my favorite coffee places in Eugene!

My husband and I went here two days in a row so it must be good right?? I got a smoothie and the bacon scramble sandwich with avocado. The sandwich was absolutely delicious and the smoothie was certainly not a fake sugary smoothie that most places have. My husband got a bagel with avocado and tomato and he said it was exceptional. He also got an iced matcha with oat milk and got that two days in a row. My second day I got a caramel frappe. It’s also delicious. A bit on the pricey side for that drink but tastes good and a great texture. The environment is super cute. Lots of outdoor and indoor seating options. I would suggest checking this place out if you haven’t already!

I love this coffee house because it's in a Victorian house. Their house coffee was citrus and chocolate. It was so good that I bought two bags of it as Christmas gifts. If you're eating there, everything comes on plates and ceramic mugs. The food is good, double check that you get the right type of quiche or granola mixes. But it's all good. The crowd tends to be a mix of college students and local older folks. There are several rooms to hang out in and do Wi-Fi stuff. The main room is nice, and there's a side room with couches and a bar. They have two upstairs rooms that you can rent for meetings at $15 an hour. Street parking only. Really friendly staff as I was from out of town and they wrote down recommendations for hiking for me. Highly recommend this place for specialty roasted coffees to buy and bring home.

Very charming little place with friendly staff and very inviting atmosphere. One of the few small cafes I've visited where I actually like the latte, and the food was very comforting and tasty. The drinks were a pretty average price for cafes while being better than many I've drank.

Great coffee location. Loads of options, seating & vivacious atmosphere. It was our first visit so we’ve only had the gf blueberry scone. Sadly it was not a hit; the corn based scone was to dry & crumbly. I felt it was confused as to whether it was corn bread or a scone. In contrast the drinks were delicious & the staff was efficient and quite personable. Bonus, there are rentable rooms upstairs for an hourly rate.

overpriced & overrated ok coffee 🙄, def NOT worth $4.50/cup the gluten free scone was the worst ever tasted, like chalk & brick hard the Croissant was less than good it’s fluffy, instead of flakey (& too little chocolate) & when they warm, its in a microwave, so it makes pastries chewey/rubbery also next to busy road, so not super relaxing with all the constant traffic noises

Love the vibes of this home turned cafe. Wonderful place to take a break during the day. The staff is kind and the food is great! Their tomato soup is especially lovely on a cold rainy December day. Will definitely swing by again!

Great place, nice atmosphere. They know how to make a cappuccino. Outdoor seating is the best in town for a cafe. Breakfast all day. Lines can get long, but staff is efficient. Dog friendly: order the Maddie (eggs & bacon) for your dog. Best item is the French Toast and Fruit on Top, but it’s very seasonal and only on weekends.

It's fun to explore different cafés, don't miss this one. The seating inside can be hard to find during busy hours but the food is good and so is the coffee. The Kahlua + Cream coffee is a creamy delicious delight at any hour. Enough to make me go back several times.

My favorite coffee spot in Eugene. I love the feel of the old house with mellow music. The coffee and food is consistently excellent, with lots of variety. During the warmer months, the deck area is wonderful to enjoy. The only downside is does tend to be very busy, so have to go in early!

Absolutely love this place! My boyfriend and I come here nearly every weekend. The atmosphere is wonderful. There's lots of indoor and outdoor seating, and the house itself is freaking adorable. We love the oatmilk mocha and the grilled cheese 🤤 If available, do yourself a favor and get the seasonal French toast!!!! Great establishment with great service!

I love coffee houses where ppl work/study for hours at a time and this one is great. The snacks r great and staff super nice. There r rooms for rent by the hour and that's super helpful for more private group meetings. The outdoor seating is a plus for when the weather is nice. Can get busy here, but still our go to when we need a spot to park and work.

I always enjoy coming here. The menu is awesome for breakfast, lunch, or any meal. There are great vegetarian options as well as gluten free. Beyond the food and drink, the atmosphere is great with lots of options for seating and tons of room outside too for warmer times

The quiche is very tasty. The staff was friendly and patient even though I wasn’t familiar with the menu.

Lovely little coffee stop! Very clean, very friendly, and the white mocha is delicious! The vibes here are immaculate. I came here on a date and it was just lovely.

a great little spot to relax at after work food on the menu is largely unsurprising but tasty nonetheless. the BLT i tried had all its ingredients perfectly balanced and was satisfying. i also tried a bite of a sesame bagel with cream cheese which seemed fine have not tried their coffee yet; Italian sodas were as refreshing as you like. for seating, there were a few tables indoors and a few outdoors near the establishment. service was friendly; would love to come here again sometime.

The everything bagel itself is not bad. The lox were lower quality. The bagel could be toasted better. More cream cheese on the bagel as well wouldn't hurt. The espresso is very watered down and weak tasting. Prices are affordable though so that's nice.

Recently moved to Eugene & so happy to have stumbled across Vero. (I’m always drawn to businesses run out of old houses for some reason?) The staff is always friendly, love the vibe, & love love love their caramel oat milk lattes/consistently tasty espresso. Gave their turkey pesto panini a try today as well & it was divine. Will be back!

Ordered a honey ginger tea. Spend 3 dollars on a small cup. They put enough honey in the tea to give you diabetes. Could barely feel the ginger and lemon. Bottom of the cup was just a big chunk of honey. Would not go back to this place.

So, if your Italian is rusty - espresso is, of course, "coffee." And, you may not guess, but house is "house." But "vero?" Ready? It's "real." Really! So, "real coffee house." As opposed to those imitation places down the street - say the famous Seattle place for example. The coffee was swell! The espresso was the stuff all American places make, so pass on that until you get to Europe. The cappuccino was excellent. And the treats were tasty. A real experience, indeed.
