A beautiful park that has its own trails, ponds and Willamette river flowing on one side. You can take a walk or ride a bike or simply sit by one of the ponds and watch ducks and geese playing with be water. A few trails were closed for the public right now, but without that too, it pretty much gave the pleasure to my eyes.

Fun place to go watch migrating ducks, geese and sometimes herons. Two large covered Pavilions available with grills. Many places to sit and watch nature. Excellent location for bird watching. There are wood chip running paths and wide cement paths that are great for bike riding, skateboarding, rollerblading etc. This place also has a few planets with plaques located along the paths to walk up to and learn about our Solar system.

Beautiful park with awesome running and biking trails through meadows, along the river, and around a lake. Just missing a playground for the kids!

Alton Baker Park is located in downtown Eugene close to the University of Oregon and Austen Stadium. There are a lot of nice walking paths and open areas for all sorts of activities. There is an 18 hole disc golf course that's real fun to play. It's also next to the river so there's always nice wild life. Cuthbert Amphitheater is also located in the park, and there's always cool music happening in the summer. The park is free and welcomes dogs.

It was nice at Alton Baker Park. It was quiet and peaceful. I took a couple photos and walked around. It is a good place to get outside and get some exercise.

It's a great park to walk. Right next to the Willamette River, the mixture of green and bubbling clear water create a very nice environment for a walk or bike. Across the bridge is the university of Oregon, and many office buildings. Great area to relax.

Great park for hanging out. Grass and covered picnic areas. Decent bathrooms. Also has disc golf and a nice path to walk around and up to the water.

Lovely trees near the MADD memorial at Alton Baker Park along the entryway to Cuthbert Ampitheatre. All the trees are identified which is so helpful, and the sitting areas are serene, with the calm offshoot of the Willamette nearby and a lovely footbridge leading to wooded trails behind Autzen Stadium.

Alton Baker Park is a great park for all ages and sports. There are beautiful biking and hiking trails and the famous barked Pre’s trail. Frisbee golf, fishing and even areas you can swim in the river. A wonderful dog park. A canal you can go kayaking. A large covered picnic table and many benches and smaller picnic tables in many spots. Just an all round wonderful peaceful and serene place. No more homeless camps in the area.

So beautiful, great for bike rides, kayaking, bird watching, dog walking, so many flowers too. Free dog poop bags, public bathrooms, creeks and rivers, a dog park, covered picnic area, and more.

Huge park with lots of space to walk, run, bike or whatever. Good com inaction of grassy areas and paved walkways. The solar system model is incredible and makes walking around even more fun!

Took a walk with my little dog, beautiful area. This was off Aspen road. Lots of people with dogs and everyone asked before introducing their dog! Bench’s along the way with trash cans. Paths to water were nice. Will come explore some more.

The park is very well maintained. It is usually very clean. The Park Host is very polite and friendly. My only complaint is the off leash dog problem. There are A LOT of off leash dogs roaming usually, and owners of these dogs are very rude and entitled. It seems that the common belief is that the whole park is an off leash dog park, and the city will not do anything about it. I have been rushed multiple times, with and without my dog, in spaces that are designated as on leash spaces. Just because your dog is friendly, doesn't mean everyone wants to say hi to them (other dogs included). There is a dog park for allowing your dog to socialize with other dogs, but it seems like there are more off leash dogs outside of the dog park than inside the dog park. Not super great for dogs with reactivity or aggression issues. A lot of people bring their "friendly" dogs and allow them to roam unchecked, and without recall, which puts everyone else at risk. I used to really love this park for my Service Dog and I, but it has turned into a free for all and doesn't feel safe anymore.

Beautiful public outdoor space! Wandered through a small area while our sons were running the fabulous Pre's Trail. So much variety in the plants and wildlife, especially the waterfowl. There are also art exhibits and a layout of the solar system. Talked to some of the fishermen and saw some large trout.

There was a man fondeling himself on the ridge, above the "Ruth Bascom trail system". Directly behind Autzen Stadium, across the field. He was standing above, looking down at the trail with his pants all the way off. I am glad "I" was the one to experience this horrific incident today. It was raining and mid afternoon. People who run here at night, please don't go alone!!!

Lovely park. Well paved with nice views of river. Might be more fun to bike versus walk in some parts.

Alton Baker Park is a great park near U of O, connecting from the east (Island park Springfield) through Campbell park in Eugene to the northwest, along the Willamette River. One can walk or bike from end to end & through various connecting little trails. At AB park there are parking lots, restrooms, water faucets & a pedestrian bridge, P DaFaizo Bridge, little duck pond, Monster disc golf, Planet Mars display, covered picnic areas. There're 4 pedestrian bridge along the route. One can walk /bike on either side of the river. Pros: restrooms, various trails, most-scenic, free parking, benches; connecting to other parks, i.e. Eastgate Woodlands, Campbell, Skinner Butte (across road from Campbell), Owen Rose Garden, Maurice Jacobs, Rasor; Ruth Bascom trail. Cons: some littering by homeless.

So many different trails in this giant park. The trails connect to different parks so I am not always sure what park I'm in. Always a pretty walk though.

Very nice park. Lots of people from all different walks of life. We stayed over in our RV during some string cheese event, followed by some Asian event the next day and boy did it fill up QUICK by 7AM.

The course was well maintained. I like going to a course that is laid out in a pattern that makes sense because that’s how my brain is wired. Transitioning from 4 through 7 is a mystery. Here are a couple of ideas or suggestions for saving patrons time: plastic directional arrows to attach to the basket and/or marking the tee pad or the gizmo that shows the distance for the basket placement the hole number. I saw yellow tiles with hole hole numbers. Maybe you’re in the process of identifying each hole 👍

This place is pretty magical. The water views and bridges there are really cool. The only downside to this park was the swarms of mosquitos that are there, even during the daytime.

Beautiful park with easy trails for everyone, even beginners. You walk past the stadium and there are dog parks and community gardens. I would definitely recommend this place to others new to the area or passing through who want to explore Eugene.

This is a nice big park in the middle of Eugene that is suitable for many activities such as picnicking and bike riding. That's exactly what I was doing here. The bike ride was great except for the fact that it was raining much of the time. The picnic shelters and restroom facilities are above average for a public park. This is a great place for everyone.
