Perfectly located, modern design, just minutes from UO campus. Whenever business brings me to the Eugene area, I am warmly greeted here, as a Globalist member, by the entire staff. They are extremely professional and courteous as well. Good sized gym, nice breakfast options and incredibly clean. It is also very quiet. I never hear any outside noise or other guests. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The front desk staff were exceptionally welcoming to the property. The most unpleasant part of the stay was dealing with the manager by the name of Darby. She was extremely rude and unprofessional to deal with and speak with. She definitely made the stay there very regrettable and for that alone I will probably never return to that property. It would do a great service to replace her and have more welcoming staff like the front desk staff in her position.

Easy in location from i5. Lots of fun shops and restaurants in spitting distance so you can park, for free, and hit the bricks walking. Top notch customer service I got a free upgrade. Nice pool and gym facilities, gym is 24 hours and has real towels and free breakfast starting at 6!

I've been up here for drinks a couple of times. It feels like a hidden spot sort of. Great balcony. If the weather is nice, this is a fun and beautiful place to get a drink. The staff have always been friendly and they pour some nice drinks. It's usually not very crowded.

Really enjoyed our stay. Loved having a pool, bar, and food on-site. The parking was ample. Getting to the pool is a little strange as you pass the lounge area. The room was very comfortable and the sitting area was comfortable.

I recently had an extremely disheartening experience at the Hyatt Hotel, which I feel compelled to share. My wife and I had a reservation, but upon my arrival - in a hospital outfit due to a recent car accident - I was shocked by the hotel's rigid and insensitive policy. Despite providing confirmation of the reservation made under both our names, the staff adamantly refused to let me check in without my wife being present. This lack of compassion and flexibility in a situation where I was clearly in distress is appalling. I was in pain and in desperate need of rest, but instead, I was forced to leave and find another hotel that could accommodate me. Such an experience is not only a gross failure in customer service but also a stark lack of basic human empathy. I am deeply disappointed and will not be returning to the Hyatt Hotel. It's alarming how a reputable establishment can disregard the immediate needs of a guest, especially one in a vulnerable state. I hope this review serves as a wake-up call to the Hyatt Hotel to re-evaluate their policies and staff training, ensuring no other guest has to endure what I went through. In response to the owner, the reservation was not cancelled through the call center by myself or my wife who was trying to rent a rental car to come to the hotel to meet me. The man at the podium said nothing about the reservation being cancelled. He only demanded I wait until my wife arrived in order to give me a room. Totally unacceptable. Not sure I want to continue as a Hyatt Discoverest. I look forward to your call.

We recently stayed overnight and had a wonderful experience. The front desk staff greeted us warmly, our room was very comfortable and quiet, and the breakfast was tasty and offered a variety of fresh options. Marilyn helped us at checkout and sent us on our way with a big smile. We will definitely make reservations when next in Eugene!!

Centrally located and easy to find. Lots of secure parking. The room was spacious, clean, and updated. The staff was extremely pleasant.

Great quiet hotel. Unlike some of the other hotels in the area, this hotel is far from the train tracks so no noise. Nice clean rooms, close to great restaurants and easy parking. I come about 2-3x a year and this is my go to hotel in Eugene.

A BIG THANK YOU! Laura at the front desk was extremely thoughtful and professional. Kaisa at the Skybar was consistently gracious. The general manager, Darby, is generous and beyond fair. Overall -- A wonderful group of people work here!!! We highly recommend the Hyatt Place Eugene / Oakway Center.

Nice clean hotel. Front desk attendants were very friendly. Bartender could be a bit more friendly and provide better service, but maybe she just had a bad day. Breakfast was very nice. They served until 10am which was extra nice and standard checkout time is noon. Something important to note is if you have an ev, ev charging is listed as an amenity but they don't actually own it anymore and it's only for some other FUV company. We parked there anyways but it is a very slow charger.

Went to the Sky bar. Good drinks, good burger, excellent parm fries. Friendly service. Went for a friend's birthday and it was a nice little spot to have it.

My recent stay at this hotel was fantastic. The staff was super friendly and made me feel welcome right away. The room was really clean and comfy. The hotel is in a great spot, close to the main shopping hub and the breakfast options were delicious too. But what made my stay awesome was how nice the staff were. Oh, and they have a fantastic rooftop SkyBar with a beautiful view of the evening sky. It's the perfect spot to relax and unwind. I recommend this hotel.

My family stayed here in May. The room was spacious and lovely. The service was great. We also loved the pool and jacuzzi. Perhaps the most stand out element of this hotel though is the SkyBar. I am still on the search for an espresso martini, hummus, or chicken wings that are anywhere near as good as what we had at the SkyBar. They even have a kids menu! To top things off, they have the most beautiful patio. I will definitely be staying here again next time I go to Eugene.

Nice modern up-to-date hotel, with a good location next to a smallish but upscale shopping center. Plenty of food options and a Trader Joe within walking distance. Clean rooms, nice breakfast, and plentiful easy free parking. Will be our go-to hotel in Eugene.

Rooms were clean, hotel was great, but the one staff member was a complete idiot, he couldn't load the luggage trolley, had to have the maintenance people teach him. He lied to my group about the adjoining rooms. Need to work on training their staff.

I never leave reviews, but Hyatt Place Eugene went so far above and beyond our expectations that I just cannot help it. To start with, we have four kids and requested the room that has two queen beds and a pull out couch. When we got there the pull out couch was already made. Every single person we talked to there from housekeeping to front desk staff was delightful. Seriously delightful. We called housekeeping twice to bring up extra items for the bathroom and an extra blanket and they were prompt and so nice. The location is also fantastic. Literally right outside the hotel door is so much in shopping and food opportunities. We ordered food from the Mexican restaurant Chapala and had it delivered to the hotel. Both the fitness center and the pool are are meticulously clean and new and pretty much perfect. We will absolutely stay in this hotel every time we return to Eugene in the future.

We’ve stayed at many different categories of Hyatts and this Hyatt Place in Eugene was actually the best Hyatt experience yet. The location is very central and unique. So convenient to restaurants and stores. Our room was clean and cozy. The breakfast was wonderful! The best spread we’ve seen. But the thing that really stood out was the staff and service. Everyone we encountered was so friendly and caring. Always with a smile. My husband became ill during our stay and their medicine cabinet selection was great. So nice to run down and grab what we needed. The bar and food was also great. We really felt at home. Like we weren’t just heads in a bed, but true guests who would be welcomed back.

Beautiful room. Very clean. Front desk assistance was excellent. Parking was very convenient.

Rooms are nice. Whole hotel is nice, really. Food was very good. Only complaint is that the parking ramp wasn't explained, and it's not intuitive at all. But, recommend highly if you're looking for an upgrade from Motel 6 or Comfort Suites.

Rooms are spacious. Bed is cozy. I feel awkward having to pass the bar/front desk to use the pool/spa. Rooms decently clean. Breakfast has great options, Rooms are quiet. The HVAC system seemed a bit off, it was either too cold or too hot. Don't care for the bathroom light being on a sensor and jolted awake. Parking is odd when you have a lot of items. Got a good sleep.

Guest services were the most ineffective I’ve experienced in years. A frequent traveler, I made daily inquiries five days running about my billing and got five different “I dunno’s” and contradictory answers every day and one included “talk to our night auditor between 1 and 2 AM.” For a simple tax exemption. Total dodge, unhelpful, non-responsive, and unprofessional. “You should have talked the manager who’s in at 730.” Then why didn’t the front desk get the manager for me at 745 every day instead of making excuses and ducking the question then tell me to pound sand? Nice hotel if you fit the mold. Otherwise unprofessional and unhelpful and will be summarily dismissed by myself and/or work group in future travels.

Update 1 - adjusting this review to 3 stars from 1 star. After a rough, sleepless night, our concerns were addressed with a manager who kindly listened, validated our concerns, and helped us understand the competing pressures the employee in question was facing the night before. We still feel the noise and employee professionalism were not acceptable, but it sounds like the hotel will make a genuine effort to prevent this issue from occurring in the future. --- I could have booked Super 8 if I wanted a noisy room and a rude front desk experience. At least a warning about the bar on floor 5 would have been helpful upon check in. If you must stay here, bring some ear plugs. That said, the room was clean, and the hotel was pet friendly. Unfortunately this doesn't replace a good night's rest, which is the main goal I have when paying for a room.

Mistakenly booked a craptastic hotel in Eugene and had to get a refund last minute after driving 500 miles. Left my fam of 4 plus dog without a place to stay @8pm. Thankfully this hotel had a room available with exceptional service and cleanliness. Food & bar was great! Would definitely stay again.

Awesome hotel! Best place I have ever stayed in. Great staff. Very friendly and helpful. If anyone has a bad experience or review it is their own fault, not the staff. I look forward to staying again in the future.

We had a great time at this Hyatt! All of the employees were so unbelievably friendly and kind. We especially loved Ann! She did the most to make my husband and I feel comfortable. She deserves a raise!

Stayed here one night with two dogs and wish I stayed here longer. The location is great, the hotel and rooms were very clean , the free garage was safe. We checked in around 10pm and found out that they were still serving food at the bar until 11:30pm which was a win. Would easily recommend for anyone needing to stay in Eugene.

Excellent service, clean environment, good location, large room, safe area. Breakfast options were great-could’ve been warmer, but great selection! Rooftop bar menu very limited but the space was great! I needed a from pillow and they delivered! Free garage parking that’s monitored is what it should be-thank you! I highly recommend this hotel!
