So happy with our stay! The room was perfect. Clean and fully stocked with what we needed. I LOVE the dishes and full size refrigerator. Customer service was fantastic. After we left I realized that night that I forgot my night guard. I called the hotel and they searched for it, found it, and already got it shipped out and on the way to me.

Okay so I have mixed feelings about this place. Breakfast wasn’t great, but the coffee was actually pretty good. Sink hadn’t been cleaned and was RANK. Elevator panel was held together with rope and duct tape. Okay, onto positives. The staff at the front is amazing, especially Robert. This place would not function without ROBERT. GIVE HIM A RAISE OR A NICE TIP IDK. No maid service despite 3 requests, except Robert, who pretty much had to do everything. We love you Robert, I hope they treat you well dawg. Robert gets 10 stars, hotel gets like 3 or something.

Nicest rooms I've ever stayed in for less than $200 maybe even less than that I don't know exactly because I didnt pay for it but I know well worth every penny. full kitchenette, Beyond kitchenette actually. Breakfast was good, people were excellent, cleanest place I've stayed in sometime.

Hotel staff was great, but the hotel itself was not as nice as expected. From the outside it looks like you'll be staying in a very nice hotel, but the second we entered our room it was very musty smelling. Bedding isn't that great just a very thin blanket instead of a comforter and the ac units don't work that well. It's in a fairly busy part of the city as well and the windows are not soundproofed at all so we were kept up at night with the loud traffic.

We arrived on day 13 of a 21 day day trip so having a complementary washer and dryer available was a real plus for us. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good I'd stay here again, no question!

Price was good 6. Tons of parking spaces (free) Cons: 1. Cleaning (of room) can be improved We would definitely stay again at this hotel!

This is our first time visiting Eugene Oregon. We came here for a seminar. Seeing some fall colors at the airport brought a smile to me. This hotel is in downtown which is about 15 to 17 minutes away from the airport. I was very pleasantly surprised at the size of the room. In one word, huge! The kitchenette is not the typical kitchenetre. It had a medium-sized upright refrigerator and even a dishwasher in addition to a microwave, silverware and dining set. Gabby of the front desk was very welcoming. We got to check in early. And she helped us get some warm oatmeal and yogurt even though it's past breakfast service time. Another lady (forgot her name) at the breakfast area was also very friendly. She told us about the area and the buses to take to the university. Other than taking Lyft between the airport, the hotel, and the seminar, we walked in the downtown area for lunch and dinner. We also attended a Community Church within a few blocks of walking distance. Already planning on going back for a longer visit and stay at the Home2 Suites by Hilton.

DISGUSTING! Hilton Home 2 Suites in Eugene, room 445 was absolutely disgusting. The original price Hilton is expecting guests to pay is over $380 a night including taxes and fees. We have no problem paying this price IF THE ROOMS ARE CLEAN. I will include picture so you can see what we walked into at 10:30pm. We had to wait until one of their staff members brought up a second key to another room. We feel robbed! The reason we pay for a Hotel room is to be able to rest and relax away from home. We were more exhausted when we got home. Too much dysfunction. Hilton staff members didn't address the problem with us, they didn't apologize, didn't give a refund or discount...probably because I didn't ask for it...these days it seems you have to demand the right thing to be done before it is done. We changed Hilton locations that next morning. Had to repack and unpack again. In addition to the filth, the air conditioners smelled really moldy. Both in the Home 2 Suite rooms and the Tru Hilton as well.

For a 3 Star hotel a solid 2 star review must be left. Low tier hotel on the Hilton brand so expected but just be ready if you plan on booking. We were happy to have a true-ish suite on short notice (locks on bathroom door into common area not functional). So no need to complain to the staff, but an honest review is warranted. Staff! Helpful, honest about the crime and breaking potential car in the area. Tips for any stay: Do not leave anything in or on your car, they will get stolen. Bring your own natural fiber sheets is that is important. Also, pillows that are not lumpy. Polyester sheets were provided. If your dog need grass to potty, find another location to stay. No grass in on site or in the vicinity. Pack your own breakfast is you need any outside of a carb/sugar overload. We will be traveling north to Portland or Salem in the future to have better accommodations for the premium price ($323, with $50 for pet). Happy Travels!

Pros: -It really felt like "HOME2"!! the staff were incredibly friendly, the rooms very clean. -showers are amazing. The view felt like I was in NYC when I could open the curtain. -large rooms, really great wifi. Pool, washing room for your laundry, and a gym. -staff are extremely friendly and understanding. I stayed for 8 days and they were very interactive, understanding of messes, very sweet bunch, which Is why I'm rating it a 5/5 Cons: -Make sure to bring extra snacks though because they're overpriced to the max. -Only 1 washer and dryer for 4 floors of people. I'd check frequently and wash at least 1-2 nights before you leave. -breakfast is very limited and gets a bit repetitive if you're staying here for over 3 days. No bacon or sausage, and some food feels like it's been sitting there for days. -only one room in window and I couldn't open the curtain because it was broken. If you happen to get this room, just flip it up over the railing and you can get natural sunlight.

It’s super close to anything by the university or downtown Eugene. Parking is the only thing I’d say you have to be on top of. The less cars you can rent or use, the better. Staff is super nice. I’m a single female traveling alone and I feel more than safe staying here. Just know you can hear any and all noise in the room next to you and the hall. That’s kinda the only downside. They do have very accessible parking, access to hotel, and hotel rooms.

Staff was invariably friendly and helpful. The breakfast staff kept everything clean, stocked, and moving even when the mid- morning rush hit. The breakfast was tasty and comprehensive for a buffet. Plenty of options for anyone While we didn't use the pool or fitness rooms, I did peek into each and they looked nice. Our room was spacious and clean and only occasionally did we hear the upstairs neighbors, but not super loud. The *only* downside was the actual sleeping. The sofa bed was quite uncomfortable, the queen that my husband I shared was just okay at best. My daughter didn't complain about hers, but I didn't ask. But worse than the beds was the "either frigid or stuffy" AC system. We finally got it sort of in between about 1 or 2 AM, but it really interfered with our sleep. (note: only true of my husband and I, because we had the bed right next to the unit...the kids didn't complain, though my daughter would have liked it cooler... We just couldn't). I feel weird giving 4 stars for a bad nights sleep but I really liked so much about this place I had to.

The Suite was fantastic, included most of a kitchenette, sans oven. Very large, lots of storage, perfect for spending more than a couple days. The staff was also wonderful, so accommodating. Pillows and Bed a 9/10, which is great for lodging. Lots of breakfast options.

This was a lovely and affordable stay in Eugene. The room was very spacious, including a bed, couch, kitchenette, desk, and bathroom. Everything was clean and looked almost new. Parking is easily available in the lot outside and breakfast was free! Such a rarity in these times. The breakfast included your classic coffee, waffle maker, and cereal. There were also some other options that looked so processed, I wouldn’t feel good calling them food. Still, it’s free. The staff, from the front desk to cleaning to breakfast, were all kind. I do have one ounce of constructive criticism though, not directed towards anyone in particular, but to this list of restaurants the hotel gave me. When I ask for a restaurant recommendation, it’s because I’m hoping for the insight of a Eugene local. I already have a phone and can do my own research. This list I was given was less helpful than my phone and offered no insight. If you’re going to give these to your guests, at least organize the list by type of food or hours of operation. Overall, I highly recommend a stay at this hotel! Only spent a night here but I could picture doing a week.

The staff was great, the hotel and room itself were not. Both the staff I encountered upon check-in and check-out were extremely friendly and helpful. As I walked up to my room, I noticed the carpets in the elevator were stained, things in the elevator were being held onto the wall by duct tape, and the carpets in the hallways on the guest floors were clearly not vacuumed. When I entered my room, the hide-a-bed was half open with the cushions on the ground making it seem like the room wasn't fully turned over, and the fridge in the room made a rattling noise any time it kicked on which made it difficult to sleep. Location is great and it looks like a nice hotel from the outside, but leaves much to be desired on the inside, especially for $200+/night.

The staff and management team was outstanding. Always helpful and kind to us. The room was great and enjoyed the kitchen space. Will definitely come back there again from Bend, OR. Deanna

This hotel is fine for a night or two. The wifi wasn't great and our TV stopped working. The water did not drain in the bathtub. We also junkies right outside the hotel.

Hotel staff is amazing, very friendly and helpful in every way. The overall hotel is very ran down. Starts with a lot of stains in the elevators, duck tape holding one of the panels on in the elevator and even more stains in the hotel rooms. Middle of the floor and on side of bed on floor. For the price gouging they do during U of O events you would expect then to be able to keep a clean hotel. Sad thing is they won’t have to do anything about it, since parents always need a place to stay when coming for events and lack of place to stay. I stay in Hilton hotels 200 plus nights a year and this is one of the more disappointing ones. Amazing staff! Sorry they don’t have management/owner support.

I had a room on the fourth floor and it was immaculate. The staff were friendly and kind. The sheets were buttery soft and I slept so well (a little too well as I slept through my alarm!) The shower had good pressure with a shower head that makes you feel like you’re in a waterfall. The dishes were cute, the fridge is full sized. I travel for a living and stay in a different hotel every night, and I would be excited to come back here.

Great location! The rooms are large and very clean. The front desk and security are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is decent, but go early. I was there 30 minutes before the service closed, and a lot of food items were already out. They didn't bring out more food even though we were told they would.

The staff was friendly and breakfast was splendid. However our (spacious and comfortable) room had a funny smell. Peroxide, if I were to guess, although I'm not a chemist. Messes happen and there was no trace left thereof, kudos to housekeeping, other than said smell! What impressed me was the expansive gym and free laundry (it wasn't abused). Another kudos for keeping the place safe with 24-hour front-door access control and tabs on parked vehicles, you really need both in the neighborhood. Nothing violently hazardous about downtown Eugene but it visibly suffers from what all metro areas on the greater Pacific Coast do. In all, we enjoyed our stay.

We were there for a funeral, the church was less than a block away, and half a block from the reception. The staff was helpful and welcoming. The rooms are wonderful. Plenty of space, the breakfast was good, extra blankets for us southerners who were chilled. Overall very good experience and will use them again.

For the neighborhood, this is one of the nicer hotels in the area. It is my first choice anytime I am visiting around UofO. I would give it another star if it was closer to the school, especially during a football game.

Always excellent. Staff here are number one. Located in central Eugene close to pubs restaurants and live music and theatre. Small but adequate pool and gym. Rooms are clean and well appointed. Ample parking.

Everyone is very accommodating and helpful. The room is clean, comfortable and has full fridge with cooking available. I wish I had known about this hotel upon my arrival to Eugene. I would not have had to move 6 times since 11/12/2022 trying to get an ADA room! Finally a manager and hotel who care!!!I am a travel nurse with handicap and this is the best place anyone handicapped could dream of away from home.

Expensive but convenient location in downtown Eugene. The rooms were decent, but the bathroom ceiling paint was peeling making it feel run down. Lots of houseless individuals around the vicinity and low income housing across the street.

Three night stay, zero maid service. We did not have maid service the first morning which puzzled us. On the second morning, we noticed the very small sign in the room regarding scheduling service the night before. No matter, we politely explained to the front desk that we didn't see the sign and asked if we could have our room freshened up (this was at 10am). She "lectured" us that H2H is a green hotel and that requests are for the following day. Since we were leaving the next morning, we simply asked if it was possible to submit our request at this time. After a long day running around, we came back to an untouched room. Please understand that this would not have bothered us so much had we not have to listen to a diatribe about how green the hotel is, etc. I support this position. However, do not push this position when your breakfast station only provides 3-piece plastic utensil packs rather than silverware. Individual bio-degradable utensils are options for those on the run. I ended up throwing away unused knives and forks when all I needed the spoon. Work on your messaging, have more prominent signage and/or inform guests when they arrive on your policy. And... get rid of the wasteful plastic!

Love the size of the rooms and how they're set up. Great for families! Easy accessibility at lots of Eugene and U of O places. Had an issue with the air conditioner and they switched out room without issue. Breakfast was the standard hot meal, not exciting but filling.

I stayed there for 2 nights, it was the good time. The location is good for calm staying. I do like the breakfast, however there is no vegetable which I prefer to have. the pool for swimming is too short, but it’s ok for relaxing. In my room, there is just one thing to comment is the bed. Guess that bed is long time use so I feel a bit pain on my back when woke up in the morning. Overall I gave 9/10 scores

We were in Eugene to visit family for Thanksgiving. We've stayed in a number of hotels. The rooms here were large and the kitchenettes were very nice. The space was clean and simple. Breakfast was fine (the coffee was good) and I did enjoy getting to do a workout on a peloton while staying. The location is also among the best in Eugene if you want to hang out down town at all.

  • 2/5 Andrew S. 1 year ago on Google
It's okay. Free parking was the main selling point. Turns out, that was false advertising. The ownership eliminated free parking. Now expect to pay $10/day, plus a "convenience fee" for parking. The beds are okay. The fitness center is mid-grade for a by-Hilton hotel. They don't provide a bar of soap for the shower (requiring the use of the shower gel dispenser). They told me at check-in that someone would come in to check the carbon dioxide detector on a specific day, despite a 3-day window on the written notice at the front desk, where that 3-day window correlated perfectly to my stay. Why not do this inspection as the rooms turn over and while they're unoccupied? I think the answer is clear--the customer experience isn't a relevant concern for the owners.
