This review is a bit different, because I didn't actually take my pet here! A few days back, our cat became noticeably sick and clearly needed to see a vet soon. I called half a dozen clinics in the area, all of whom were overbooked. That's not their fault, just seems to be a common issue right now and everyone's presumably doing their best. A few suggested I could call back the next day, and all of them recommended the same two emergency clinics. When I called The Veterinary Hospital, they, too, were overbooked. However, the person who I talked to was able to direct me to a couple of other options that I hadn't known about who may have had a bit more flexibility for immediate care. We were able to get our cat in to one of them (Countryside Animal Clinic) as a dropoff - and she very soon after went into surgery for pyometra! I'm not sure she'd have made it if we'd had to wait another day or two. She's back at home and still getting over it, but is otherwise well... and is still with us! So, this is more just a note of thanks for spending literally two extra minutes on the phone with me to make sure we could get the help we needed! That's the kind of care that really distinguishes a clinic from the others.

My Wife and I absolutely appreciate these guys! They are so fantastic with our dogs, make special arrangements and comfortable conditions to make them at ease. Amazing staff, our dog is a handful and they are patient and super cool about it.

I have a super high anxiety cat so it's always nerve wracking to get him out of the house. The staff handled him so well and were so sweet to him! He was even in a good mood when we got back home! (he usually hides for a while after outings)

Took my pup Finnegan in for a teeth clean and extraction with Dr. Yamada. She did an amazing job! Addressed all my concerns and really made me feel at ease knowing my best friend was in good hands. Everyone on the team was so sweet and amazing, I really felt so welcomed there. We will 100% be returning for any future health needs!

Best vet experience we’ve had in Eugene. The front desk folks were kind and helpful, the doctor really listened & gave clear instructions for care & the tech had great rapport with my dog & patiently answered all my questions. My dog is sometimes cranky at the vet but they took the time to make friends with her & she did a great job at her appt.

2nd time using them from cat spay surgery. Would highly recommend, very professional!

Wonderful, caring staff. They take the time your dog and you need. Don't try and take your money if they have an opening, you get it. They don't call it an emergency and charge twice as much.

Our first visit here and all the staff made "BellaRose" and her Mama quite relaxed. Her vaccines were updated, ears cleaned and fears allayed about a lipoma. Our family is recovering from a wildfire and health issues. Being able to communicate our urgent needs (vaccine update, etc) without pressure for MORE expenses meant alot to us. We will definitely be scheduling a more thorough physical in the near future. So delighted to find a competent practice just around the corner from home!

A few months ago my dog Scooter was dealing with some health issues and TVH was ruling out cancer. It was a very difficult and stressful time for me. I was beside myself with worry and Dr. Berman went above and beyond to answer my numerous questions. She is very positive, patient, and kind. She never seems rushed and takes the time to listen to all my concerns. Additionally, the staff and techs are always helpful! You can tell how much they love animals! I would highly recommend for anyone looking for compassionate, competent, and trustworthy vet care!

They truly care about your animals comfort and wellbeing. It's nice to see my cat acting so well even when anxious. Would recommend to cat families.

I've been taking my cats here for about 10 years, I can't imagine taking them anywhere else. The staff is so friendly and helpful, the doctors are amazing... just 100% amazing service every time.

Being rather new to the area, our little dog was in for a visit some months ago, then recently she started to experience unexpected health problems. After several visits to The Veterinary Hospital, it was determined that her situation would not improve; unfortunately we had to make the decision to ease her discomfort and increasing critical situation. The staff was professional, yet sensitive, and helped us by answering the many questions we had as far as options available to us. When one is faced with such issues, you don't always absorb the information and comprehend it as well as you could. I'm sure I asked similar questions more than once, and they were patient with explanations so we could be sure we were thinking clearly and making the right choices. Should we have another pet in the future, we would not hesitate to return for their excellent care and staff. Thank you.

Take both of my dogs here for their yearly check ups (thankfully have never had to take them for anything more serious). Dr. Berman is fantastic! She answered all my questions, helped put my very anxious dog at ease, and helped create a diet plan for them to help them lose a little bit of weight (it's hard to say no when they beg).

Staff are knowledgeable, kind, and treated my new puppy really well. They made him feel comfortable and gave him lots of attention, he didn't whine the entire visit!
