Equiano Coffee Roasters

Cafe Coffee shop

👍👍 I love this tiny family owned coffee shop! They source and roast their own beans, make their own milks and are all around fantastic people. The courtyard on warm days is so delightful. Good baked treats and gallery walls too. Highly recommend! People often mention coffee,

I don't give a 5 star coffee review easily, but this spot is an absolute gem! We just cruised into Eugene and this was our first stop off I5. Their shared patio area really transported us into one of our favorite cafes in Mexico. Also, my wife and I got black Americanos and this was the last day of their featured Ethiopian espresso. When there's no steamed milk, cream, or sugar, it all comes down to the quality of the bean and barista. Great service, and the drinks were ready super efficiently. Will be back to try that cold brew!

Love it here. Such good vibes and what a lovely outdoor area they have. They play vinyl and cassette tapes (sweet tunes). Their homemade cashew milk is 🤌💋 delish. My fav coffee in town. Also live their green mint iced tea in the summer. Vegan chocolates!

Great coffee, a little pricier but the taste is worth it. Too bad they don't have indoor seating! This would be my spot if they did.

Best espresso in Eugene. Was well balanced and served very hot. I only wish they could provide the option of taking the espresso "for here" outside with a ceramic cup instead of paper for taste and waste purposes (mainly taste since paper strongly negatively affects espresso flavor). They have a variety of beans which shows their dedication to the flavor nuances between them instead of the shops that just try to get out as many decent drinks in a day type thing.

Delicious Coffee joint with a very cute garden in the back. I enjoyed the quality craftsmanship that went into my caffeine craving cure. The staff was friendly and warm. I loved the use of floral accents throughout the establishment. They had a beautiful flowering jasmine vine in the garden out back by the stage that smelled outstanding and complimented the taste of my coffee with the smell of beautiful blooms. I will definitely be going back again!

Best cashew milk Chai latte I've ever had. I got it unsweetened, then added a tsp of honey. Unique, robust cold brew. Best neighborhood cafe 🙌

Great atmosphere, amazing staff, super warm welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend to anyone looking for good local coffee. They roast their own coffee and you can buy bags of it. Probably the most underrated coffee spot in Eugene. 100% recommend to anyone to go there at least once. You'll keep coming back. A1 across the board. 💯

Great coffee, great feel, live-edge wood tables and bar, a record on the turntable. I ordered the cupping flight and the owner (Okon) walked me through the process and the nuances of the very different coffees. It was so cool!

Perfect ambiance on a hot afternoon. Delicious macchiato and gluten-free brownie.

What a wonderful indie coffee shop! Our friend a Eugenite took us there where we enjoyed wonderful coffee on a sweet patio. Straightforward great coffee roasted and served by 2 lovely owners. With a small selection of pastries we chose to order only coffee. The vibe was peaceful, the patio had lovely flowers, and we all loved sipping our coffees and conversing. Support local businesses!! Support Equiano!!

Excellent coffee. Only 8 and 12 oz sizes which doesn’t get me there psychologically. $$$$

I was so excited to find out this place is only a couple minute walk from my place, and has such a cute courtyard. Well, I just got back home from trying it for the first time and it was a very poor experience. The two working acted as if they’d rather be doing quite literally anything other than take my order/make my drink. I went well before closing and there wasn’t a single other customer there, I was looking forward to getting one of their baked goods and trying a drink they recommended But the one taking my order was very curt and rude and I just ended up ordering a simple latte so I could leave. I understand everyone has bad days and it’s hot out, but there wasn’t even minimal effort to even crack a smile. I felt very unwelcome and like a burden so I probably won’t be going back as there are plenty of other coffee options in the Whit with kind staff.

Didn't live up to the hype I have heard about. Maybe I'm not in love with the flavors they have created as their roasting and bean choice seemed legit. My iced mocha was too acidic tasting for my liking. The area to sit outside the place was beautiful and peaceful for the area that surrounded it. A nice escape that I'll try again.
