I've been here twice, first time I got the regular pulled pork. Second time (pictured) I tried the vegan version, as recommend by the kind gentleman that works there. It was divine! Better than any pulled pork sandwich I've had before, I'm not a vegan but I do enjoy some great vegan food, and this place has got it. I'll definitely be coming back to try everything they got over time, but if you haven't tried then you're missing out! Best sandwich spot in town

First time here and Definitely not the last. Full of flavor, portions aren’t skimpy and service is definitely solid. Would suggest this spot to any other vegan passing through the Eugene/Springfield area. Too many emotions to list. Back to eating. Sorry y’all...

Screamin’ Jay’s is a killer lunch spot! It’s honestly hard not to grab one of his delicious sandwiches every day… Jesse and Fiona have new delicious sandwich creations when I bike by. And I recently switched to a vegetarian diet, and the veggie (and vegan!) options are incredible — it’s hard to find eateries that are veggie friendly and this tasty. His soups are incredible too. If I could rate him 11/10 I would! This one goes to eleven!

I've been so excited about trying this place that was admittedly a little nervous it wouldn't live up to the expectations I'd built in my mind. Oh boy, did they come through. Their gluten free bread is some of the best I've ever had from a restaurant. The vegan meatballs were really satisfying. And I love the tang and colors in the coleslaw. You should also try the hibiscus drink. Very tasty. This may be our new Friday lunch tradition.

This is an absolute gem! I ordered the "meatball" sub and the pulled "pork" (both vegan options). I am not vegan but do enjoy vegan food. The meatball sub is THE BEST meatball sub I've ever had! The pulled pork was really good, but overall I will CRAVE the meatball sub forever! The customer service is top notch as well. Super friendly and helpful with suggestions for a first timer.

Quality food, service, and experience! đź’– Almost everything they have for carnivores they have for vegans on their menu. I got The Townes Van Zandtwich, their vegan pulled pork sandwich with pulled tofu; also their vegan potato salad, and a hibiscus tea with sparking strawberry unsweetened soda water. Everything was really good, I am an omnivore and I enjoyed it; I shared with my vegan friend and he enjoyed it as well.

Fantastic. My vegan son loves this place and I found out why today. We got three different sandwiches and all three were devoured.

If your in the mood for east coast style Italian sandwiches- this is the place. In addition , this review is about how great Jesse and co is. Going above and beyond, providing a human experience - especially during covid, etc….and how a simple gesture can be so meaningful. I got my friend a gift certificate and not only did Jesse hand make a card for the gift certificate. Jesse and co. hand picked sunflowers and drove the gift certificate to my friend for their birthday! My friend was SO happy! I was so moved by this gesture- I had to share. Though, I wouldn’t expect Jesse and co. to hand deliver all their gift certificates… definitely support them. These are great people - and the food is yummy!

New to Eugene and stumbled across Screamin’ Jays today. The owner is super friendly, and the vegan sandwiches were killer. The vegan potato salad was the best I’ve ever had and I don’t even like potato salad. I have no room left for the vegan cookie, but it’s undoubtedly delicious. 10/10 will come back.
