I just wanna start this with, I think Wanderoo is a very cute little Lodge, it definitely has a lot of potential to be amazing. We just ran into a few issues during our stay. Starting with whenever we arrived to check in, we were informed the wanderoo cabin we had booked was having plumbing issues and they wouldn’t be able to rent that cabin to us. Which was fine, but it would have been nice for them to let us know before we arrived of this issues and our options. Thankfully we were staying during the week, and there was plenty of availability for them to accommodate us. They offered us a complete refund, or another room with the price difference refunded to us. We decided to try the whitewater cabin they had available. It was a cute room, but the bed and pillows were uncomfortable(definitely recommend bringing your own pillows.) we could never get the door to actually lock from the outside. We were under the assumption that we had our parking spot that came with the cabin, but if we left the cabin and came back the during the evening there was always a car parked right in front of our door. Now onto the restaurant, we decided to have dinner at the Gravel bar. We were told upon arrival that they were short staffed and it may be awhile for our food. Which we agreed to stay and try it out. Our poor server was running the dining room by her self with multiple tables, and the wait times were long. We ordered the pizza, which for the size and price was not worth it, we also order the buffalo chicken Mac and cheese, which was okay. The pool definitely needs some updating still, the overhang on the pool has broken concrete in multiple areas, so definitely be careful. The lounge chairs were dirty and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in awhile. We may be back, after some major updating is done to the place. But overall we definitely enjoyed our time in Eureka. The staff was super nice, and pleasant to deal with.

Love this place! Second time down! Friday night my boyfriend proposed out front while listening to the live music! Was amazing! Only upsetting part was when we went to go to our room. The “smart” lock wouldn’t let us in. And they didn’t have a key that would unlock it. I guess the door over all was malfunctioning…. And we had to wait over an hour and half for management to show up. Even then they couldn’t get the door unlocked we had to climb through our window to retrieve our belonging. They moved us to a better room. Which is almost normal procedures… Only thing that’s still upsetting was the manager said they would comp that night for all our troubles. We were still charged and I’ve called to see when the return would come and they said it was out of their hands. Wish they would keep their word… very big night for us as a couple… if the ring was locked in there it would have been a total different review…. And a phone call to the police….Just little frustrating that we didn’t get that night comped and keep their word. They said they returned 1/3 of our stay, which was not what the manager said. He said if anything they would comp that night, and I have yet to see anything in my bank for over 48 hours. They said it’s up to my bank…. To receive money? I can tell you that’s not the issue… just don’t get the systems but whatever… And my dress was torn from having to climb through the window but at the end of the night I was a fiancé and was very pleased. All around good energy though. Good music and good food, could be better maintenance all around the property after seeing the whole situation go down. When I called the guy said “well you slept in a bed didn’t you” just seems very sarcastic and rude to say. In all seriousness the upgrading of the room was a nice thing to do. The comping should have been done without asking or question. I’ve been in customer service for over 12 years and this Situation was not handled well. Haven’t decided if we will stay here again, definitely will be back for the music and food. Was going to come back and stay but after my recent phone call and the sarcasm and the “it’s out of our hands and system” thing is just little ridiculous. He says the have no access to it. What kind of system doesn’t keep records or trace or even notes… they should have just told us they weren’t going to accommodate us. Also our friend stayed in another room. He accidentally clogged the toilet the last day and he went to go ask the front desk for a plunger so he could get his deposit back. They assured him it was no issue happens all the time and they would handle it. He was charged $50…. Cmon

Had a great time as always! Love the atmosphere and the friendly folks. Love all the dogs everyone brings. Had fun at trivia and Los Roscoes was a blast. Floated White River with Eureka Adventures. Was so nice to be able to shuttle from our lodging. Our driver, Patrick Blair was the best. Told us about what to expect on the river and things to do around town. Also service and food in the bar was excellent. Such a perfect getaway for us!

We spent the long Diversity Weekend at the Wanderoo and the entire experience was fantastic! The staff were all great, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the location is central to a ton of great activities. We used their website for recommendations and did the zip-lining and the Haunted Eureka tour. The tour was great, but the zip-lining was definitely a highlight!

The location is in a sharp curve so accessibility is tricky. The establishment has potential. The downfall is the HORRIBLE mattresses in the room. If you enjoy listening to drunk people serenading you to sleep w karaoke, this is your spot. The atmosphere is good though but the bed will leave you overly exhausted and questioning why you even chose this place.

We love listening to the live music every evening on the weekends, & the food, & drinks there are amazing! Everyone there goes above, & beyond to make your stay enjoyable! The rooms are super cute, and the overall environment is very accepting to everyone, & will welcome you with open arms! Definitely recommend!

What a great place. We were traveling with family and had 3 rooms here for a couple days. We had a wonderful time. Staff is great, town was so much fun to explore. Pool was clean and relaxing, bar was so much fun and food was excellent as well. Highly recommend.

Excellent vibe to chill and relax with live music, a bar, and restaurant right there. Rooms seemed clean but don't walk on the carpets without shoes. It's filthy. Beds were new but not exactly comfortable. Regardless, we all had a great time!

The staff I dealt with was great, they even got our room ready a bit early. We stayed in the wonderoo cabin. The bathroom was redone and nice. You can tell they are still renovating. The cabinets in the kitchen could use a bit of touching up and the windows were really old. The front door also had a huge gap. The air ran constantly. I'm assuming to make up for that. But I have lived in houses that are over 100 years old and know that is to be expected in older properties. After reading the history of the property, the cabins are pretty old. I'm sure they are renovating when they can, but the cabin we stayed in could use a bit more love. Everything was clean, just outdated. However, it was fine for our family of 4. The main bedroom was spacious. Having two boys, it is nice to have my own space for a bit of privacy on vacation. Also, having a full kitchen is great, so we did not have to eat all of our meals out. A few nice touches may be every cabin has a little camping grill and maybe a fire ring. They do have a shared grill and fire pit. Overall, I would stay again.

We had great expectations for the motel- and for the most part it was good. We stayed in the white water cabin- which is located next to the highway- so you hear the road noise all day and night if you are there. I should have looked at pics better to see its location bc it's noisy! The water pressure in the bathroom sink is minimal- it won't even wash your toothpaste down the sink so it was frustrating :( There were black towels for us- they wouldn't dry us off and then they left black fuzz on us too. Nothing we couldn't get off just kind of annoying. We appreciated the coffee, the shower had been redone, the bed was nice and the electric fireplace was warm as well. There wasn't anywhere to hang your clothes but there was a hat/coat wrack. The microwave and the fridge worked great! You do take out your own trash, get more towels/amenities from the front desk if you need them as you don't have room service daily. I understand not bothering you- but for $179 a night, I didn't want to take out my trash myself. No offense. It was a little pricey as the floors got pretty dirty too as the threshold under that door let dirt blow in plus us coming in and out brought things in as well. There wasn't a way to sweep to clean them either. The fire at night was nice, the bar and music were great, and the ladies at the bar were really nice. Rod was super helpful when I had questions as well.

Hands down the best place to stay in Eureka Springs. The rooms are basic but updated. The beds are comfy and the bathrooms have what you need. What makes the place so amazing is the atmosphere and people. The restaurant/bar on site has some amazing live music almost nightly (especially in the summer) but for sure on the weekends. Drinks were great and the food was fresh and tasty.

We stayed over Halloween and had a great time! Our room was one of the larger king rooms that overlooks the woods in the back. The motel is updated in a perfectly cute way. It smelled like a historic 1800s hotel we stayed at on the gulf, I think because of the restored wood floors. A great touch! The hotel is a 10 minute walk to a couple restaurants near White Street, about 15 minute walk to the Crescent or downtown. There was a great bluegrass band at the Gravel Bar so we got to enjoy dancing with the locals. The fire pit was a nice touch and they were great with our pup. It was a very friendly, warm, and welcoming place. We will be back!

The rooms looks nothing like the website shows. They are run down amd could use lots of improvements. There was a horrible chemical smell in the room. The air barely worked. The bathroom was disgusting and the water pressure and temperature was horrible. The only good thing I can say is that we was in a room besides three large dogs and never heard them. The owners trained the dogs well.

It's a superficially renovated roadside motel from (I would guess) the 50's. In our room, the shower and plumbing were original. For example, the showerhead was about 5' tall and there was very little water pressure. At least the towels were soft. The room was clean and recently painted. It made me think of a Motel 6 with brighter colors. We did enjoy the bar/live music at the the Gravel Bar and the firepit they had going on the grounds. They only staff the front desk limited hours, but they do post a phone number to call. Location-wise, it is a bit far to walk into town - the hill coming back is fairly steep. I would plan on driving and then parking to visit all the shops/restaurants there.

Right in the heart of Eureka Springs! I really enjoyed my stay at The Wanderoo. Simply amazing service at a unique lodging establishment. I loved sitting by the fire to end the day. Look forward to staying there on my next visit.
