Unpowered camping is very good we had plenty of room and a lot of shade as the sites are between trees so there was no need to use our gazebo: the amenities are beautiful and very clean so is the camp kitchen! Staff are very friendly and accomodating. There’s a short walk to the bake house bakery and beach access is right on your doorstep! we will definitely be coming back for a stay!!

Wow what a difference new management makes!! I used to put up with the poor service just for the kids activities. Now that it is under new management and the staff are friendly and welcoming we will be back more often! We had a lovely time so kept extending our stay in a cabin. My daughter loved the activities and the staff were so accommodating and friendly. Cabins were clean and looked like they’d had a make over. Thanks to all the staff for making our recent stay so enjoyable and relaxing 😎

Amazing vacation place, first time going there and it was honestly one of the best places we have stayed at. Price for the stay was very reasonable and would recommend it to anyone. Family friendly, and also pet friendly Holiday resort.

We had a great time staying in a dog friendly cabin. We loved been so close to the beach & creek. The cabin was large and comfortable, the couches were very comfortable and the dining table was big enough. The cabin had everything you needed, except the old fridge needs upgrading to a full size It was too small for a 4/5 person cabin barely big enough for 2 & the microwave was positioned too high. The bathroom was an excellent size although a hand rail needs to be fitted to access the shower as there is a big step over a spa bath to the shower (in our cabin) and it was a bit dangerous without a rail (one in the shower wouldn't go astray). We like it had a separate toilet. The two bedrooms got hot in the afternoon and the beds were abit hard. The Air-conditioning in the living room kept the rest of the cabin very comfortable. We loved the BBQ & dining on the front porch and there was good amenities in the park. The staff was friendly esp the cleaning staff. Missing the beach ⛱️

Have nothing bad to say. Staff are awesome, friendly and helpful. Accommodation is so nice, just sorry we couldn't stay longer. So peaceful, clean and fresh. Even the ducks were happy. Great place for families

We stopped over for 1 night on our way down the coast to Melbourne. Absolutely loved it! Fantastic facilities for the kids, quiet at night. We were in a 2 bed cabin which was really clean and comfy. Great kitchen facilities, air con/heating, toiletries and towels included. We had dinner in Star Fish at Batemans bay which was beautiful We will definitely be back and next time we'll bring our dog too.

I stayed on a non powered campsite for the night, the campground was flat, pegs went into the ground without any struggle, and it was right near the beach which led to a relaxing beach wave sound sleep. Camp kitchen, and bathroom facilities are clean and very well maintained. Will happily stay here again

Pet friendly this is definitely one of the best resorts that we stayed at Thank You NRMA Batemans Bay, where is a family. Had an awesome time there for activities that you guys put on for school. Holidays is unbelievable. The kids love the place and so did Lola our dog, the lake, the beach to Fishing the cabins and all the staff? Wow you guys are incredible. Can’t wait to come back

We stayed on a powered site earlier this year in March 2023. We booked a couple of days before over the phone and later received a confirmation email with the incorrect dates. We are 100% sure we had given the right dates because we read it off our travel plan. I replied to the email pointing out the error and gave the correct dates, but didn't receive a response. Upon our arrival the lady at reception said we were a "no show" as we were supposed to be there the day before. I tried to show the lady at reception my email but she fobbed me off, saying they haven't read the emails from the last days and dismissed me. She had already made her mind up and that was that. I got the old' "Sorry I can't help you." I said surely you must have sites available, and she begrudgingly "allowed" us to book in. After booking in we saw that the park was less than half full. The next day we decided to extend our booking. I spoke to another lady in reception who seemed quite friendly until she looked at the computer. I may be paranoid, but her attitude changed after looking at the screen. She told me they were booked out. I asked if they had an unpowered area as it's a huge park. She looked again and now said we could move to the powered site next to us, as the one we were on had been booked. We packed up and moved to the site next door, but when the new people arrived to stay on our old site they told us they hadn't booked any particular site. I can't help but feel they have put a red flag on our name in their system due to their error.

We stayed for the labour day weekend. It's a nice park for entertaining kids with the pool, pedal go-karts, mini golf and the jumping balloon. The staff at reception are very friendly and helpful. But the toilets and shower were VERY DISAPPOINTING. One day the toilets were not CLEANED. The men's toilets ran out of paper twice over the three day weekend. The light for the showers didn't work late at night. When reporting these to the cleaning staff along with the taps that didn't work or turn off and the lights shade that were ready to fall from the ceiling, it was like it fell on deaf ears. One night a disabled lady wanted to used the disable toilet and the lights didn't work so I grabbed a lantern and put inside the toilet so se could see. So it's a great place, but they need to get on top of the maintenance and cleaning of the amenities when they are fully booked, and then I would recommend this park 100%.

This park is highly recommended to families with pets especially during school holidays. They are the only park accepting pets during this time. Cabin are clean and walking distance from the beach. Staffs are accomodating. The park itself is clean and safe with swimming pool, tennis court and go karts. This is our second time to booked and will always come back if we are going to south coast.

Excellent park with plenty of things for kids to do. We stayed in a superior cabin that is right next to a path to the beach. This place was great , we will be back.

We stayed for a week at this dog-friendly park in our own catavan. We had a site almost right on the beach which was also dog-friendly. Good amenities and friendly permanent residents.

We have been to many NRMA holiday resorts but this was by far the worst one. We paid for “5 star hotel” according to their website, but we weren’t provided with clean ammenities, such as clean bathrooms, and not even enough bathrooms for this many people The customer service was beyond infuriating. The relieving manager communicated with an attitude and a rude tone. She acted entitled and spoke to us in an incredibly disrespectful way - even to little kids. Save your money and don’t come here.

Very unhappy about our stay at this holiday park. It claims to be 5 star but the service and facilities are below par. The relieving manager was complaining about our kids making noise around 2am without any investigation or evidence in a very rude manner, which is not acceptable. Our credit issue hasn't been resolved even though they have been reminded multiple times. Camping site is smaller compared to other NRNA locations. Swimming pool; toilets; showers facilities had very poor standards. The kids did not even go into the pool because of how unclean it was. Only 2 bathrooms/toilets for the entire campsite which weren’t even cleaned often. Worst customer service ever.

I was kind of disappointed with this place. Looking at the star rating on the website, it said it was a 5 star place. Well not really. The room is dead basic, has a bunk bed on the wall above the double bed, a tiny little bath room, no restaurant so no breakfast available. Not even bowls or spoons to use if you went out and bought some cereal and the like. Not even a micro wave. But of a problem when you're just passing through. The room is not carpeted, I wouldn't stay here again.

We booked camping sites for group of families. NRMA Batemans Bay disappointed us in terms of common amenities. Not enough washrooms and showers. Swimming pool is old and seems unclean. Beach near site is a dog beach. Staff’s (Not disclosing name for privacy reasons) behaviour towards us was rude. They also threatened our kids in our absence and for playing around. We were also told/warned to be ready and pack up our bags for not following park rules. We haven’t experienced this type of behaviour or customer service at any other NRMA sites.

NRMA holiday resorts are usually best places to visit for holidays but it wasn’t the case during my recent experience at NRMA Camping site of Batsman Bay. The place location is beautiful as it is right next to the beach but the amenities such common showers, toilets, swimming pools etc were neither sufficient nor clean in comparison with other NRMA holiday resorts. This gets worst when the acting manager takes on troll with their member/guest in a rude manner and humiliating tone. I have never seen NRMA holidays resort staff behaving this way and it started from day one till departure. Never visiting this place again and I just hope that our credit is refunded which was supposed to be used at this stay but staff kept saying they are too busy and can’t help and they need still more time to resolve the matter. Don’t know how hard this can be for a business such as NRMA to sort their accounts and process in a systematic way…

Direct sea access from the park, but the beach is not the best for kids to swim. But a couple of good beaches are a 5-15 min drive. Also, you can do a walk around the delta where park is on one side of the riverbank. Usual NRMA holiday park with amenities (pool, bouncy pillow, BBQ stations, bathrooms with shower rooms, etc.). We stayed at an unpowered site during Xmax holidays. Park was quite crowded. My only complaint is sites are quite close to each other, so a large tent is just a fit. Hardly any privacy too.

For me this was an absolute horrible experience, there was zero respect shown to us from the get go. We came with 6 other families and nothing about this place was exciting as it was advertised by them. The staff was exceptionally horrible and straight up rude, the manger in particular threatened the kids in our group that they would have to pack up and leave and then went on to start lying about how the kids were making too much noise on the site when actually they were in the tents the whole day. This was absolutely appauling and there was basically zero activities here other then pedal go karts and jumping pillow. Id go as far as to say the manager was racist as she came to our tents and threatened our kids and then proceeded to come back the next night to tell us to quiet down when everyone else on the site was awake and also making noise. The bathrooms were are disgusting and filthy and smelled, this must be addressed.

Found the park nice and tidy. Cleaning of amenities was an odd time, when everybody needed them 8am to 9am. If you cant back a caravan, forget it. The roads are as narrow as.

  • 4/5 Glenn C. 1 year ago on Google
Park is over rated and over priced, we had a grass site, which was dirt and long grass and as it was raining we had mud outside our caravan door and long wet grass to walk through. Amenities were clean and OK. The track to the beach was overgrown to the point that you could hardly walk through it. Stayed in lots of other parks that were way cheaper and way better quality. Need to lift your game if you want to charge top dollar.

Absolutely wonderful stay at Batemans Bay. The cabin was very spacious, much more than expected. The facilities around the premises are very clean and tidy. The jumping pillow and putt putt golf kept the kids entertained but this is onky some of the activities the resort offers. Beach access through the back of the resort made for easy early morning walks. Location is also a plus. What a fantastic little gem. Having visited a number of NRMA/RACQ resorts, this was a stand out with cabin space and general cleanliness. Overall, if I could rate this more than 5 stars I would. Thank you to the team at Batemans Bay. We really enjoyed our stay with you!

The staff and amenities at this location were top-notch. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with ample extra pillows, sheets, towels, and kitchen appliances. The indoor kitchen and outdoor BBQ area were fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, and more, allowing us to cook a variety of meals with ease. The fridge was a perfect size, and the microwave and dishwasher worked well. The 5-seater dining table was just right, and we appreciated the reminders to clean up and take out the trash. Our 2-bedroom unit was perfect for our family of 5, and we especially enjoyed the spa in room 28. The small lounge area had plenty of seating and a coffee table, though the wifi was a bit spotty. The community washing area was convenient, and we made use of the tap-and-pay option. The front porch overlooking the lake was a lovely addition, and we enjoyed feeding the ducks from the outdoor dining table. The community kitchen and unheated outdoor pool were also nice amenities, and the reception area had everything from basic hygiene items to fishing bait to satisfy any needs. We even saw a few pet owners on-site, and it was clear that this was a popular spot for furry friends. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this location to others.

Lovely caravan park located on Cortigans Beach, just south of town centre. Staff, Emily, was helpful and friendly. Amenities were clean & tidy. Walked around, nice looking villas/cabins available, boat washbay also located here. Easy day trips around district. Will be back at a future date

Ive stayed in budget cabins before, but for the price, it'd be nice to have a kitchen sink, toaster, iron, plates and glasses. These items honestly are minimal requirements for a cabin of any sort. As for the communal kitchen its equally minimal, bring your own everything.

Great park. We have been to over 20 different caravan parks down the east coast and this has had the cleanest amenities. Very good management, friendly and helpful. Even bought us a football when our son's football was stolen.

Lovely park, clean amenities and daily sms for activities. Location was great, next to animal park and summer carnival with beach and river Friendly staff. Our original grass powered side was a little tight for our 21ft but a quick call to the office and they sent us to a much better spot. Easy.

This resort is now an NRMA park and it didn’t fall short of my expectations offered by NRMA. It is so clean, hot showers, extremely friendly staff with excellent customer service skills. Plenty of grass areas. The swimming pool is great as is the other amenities such as tennis, mini golf. The cost is excellent. The only drawback is the wifi coverage. We were in a caravan at one of the rear corners and unable to pick up the park wifi which was disappointing. Hence the four stars instead of five. But having said that I highly recommend this family caravan park. It is so relaxing.

Good location in the heart of Bateman's Bay, near the main road but traffic noise is minimal at the resort. Clean well appointed cabins with rev cycle aircon, dishwasher & washing machine. We had one of the large cabins near the water, so were often visited by the many local water birds including ducks, egrets, cormorants & beautiful black swans.

Wonderful place to stay !!! I’ve stayed here more than 20 times and will keep coming back. Great for smaller kids as it’s got a jumping pillow, mini golf, pool, many other kids activities

Recently under new management, being NRMA Parks and Resorts. Service is now better with mini golf and tennis now complimentary rather than a charged extra. Location couldnt be better with the beach just 50 metres away and excellent clubs and restaurants only 5 minutes in a cab or half an hour walk down the road. Staff are always friendly and efficient and will go the extra mile to ensure you have a seamless holiday experience. Enjoy your stay.... Full disclosure, I work there as a groundskeeper!
