A beautiful festival with a lot of tradition. Parking was easy and quite cheap at €4 (per car). In addition, the entrance fee of €3 per person (children up to 12 years free!) is also absolutely okay. There is a lot of space in front of the stage for a lot of people, the beer stands are also right at the back of the place, so you don't have to walk far for drinks. The band “For Example” has been playing at this event every year for almost 25 years. Many different songs from many different genres are played, all of which the band does very well. There are also a lot of stalls that sell all sorts of things, from bags to insect screen doors to simple soft ice cream with chocolate icing. There are also many offers for children, such as a bouncy castle and other attractions. If you want, you can also go on boats to travel across Lake Rursee, especially: a steamboat takes up to 5 people on a tour every half hour, free of charge! Emergency supplies are also available, with both the DLRG and the German Red Cross and many volunteer fire departments on site throughout the event. The fireworks display that takes place on Saturday evening is very nice to watch and the reverberation over the lake is also a very interesting experience. All in all, definitely worth a visit.

The event was very successful despite the moderate weather. There were plenty of drink stalls... But 🙈😖 unfortunately only the Bitburger guests were thought of.. We traveled 50 km and drank Kölsch... We were happy when we saw a Reissdorf booth... But even then only Bitburger... Maybe something could be changed... thank you for the lovely evening

I was there for the first time, an amazing event. Music program, stall mile with restaurants and all kinds of sales. Climax fireworks!!! Plenty of parking spaces near the shore, great instructions and what I found particularly great - the smooth departure with the help of the many helpers. The “return route” around Rurberg was great. Walking pace, but heading home without traffic jams. THANKS

There's really something on offer there. Stage with live band. Cafes, stalls, market. And promptly at 11 p.m. the big fireworks display. I would go there again.

I didn't hear George Ezra because I didn't have a ticket, but afterwards you can also enjoy the super beautiful fireworks without entrance! 2019 I will have a card!
